Abstract Poetry

Ariadne

Dazed ad Dizzy

Spinning with confusion

Head,chest and stomach pangs fusion

Sweaty and barely able

to get out of bed

Drooping eyelids

And a light weight feeling body

With a heavy head

Tired and miserable

An effort is made to get out of bed

It's almost like your body was

revolting against you

This cold I've had for awhile

Is long overdue

One of my unrhyming absract poems...I call this one morphing stones

Different shapes, but same objects

Diverse as everybody on this earth

Oval as the eggs served on Sunday mornings

Uneven edges as blue mountains

Cracked, but still whole

Transforming colours like the sky

From blue to black way up high

Smooth as the silk top

I slipped on last night

The rocks and stones are crops

Of the salt and sea

I don't know why but I'm attracted to abstract poetry...

Sunrise

Traces of your love linger but only by a thread

A conncection could be made if more from you was said

Sunset

Another night passes without a compliment or a smile

But I wont give in yet...I'll try harder to work it out

Sunrise

This morning we didnt speak...we just went about our day

How can two people live together and yet have nothing to say

Sunset

I've had enough of this abuse and neglection from you

Im starting to wonder how I ever had love for you

Sunrise

Its so much about me that you dont even know

I've made a decision...at Sunset our relationship must go.........

Sunset

Last night I ended everything we had.I took your life and even still I'm not glad. Now I'm in a place where love doesnt even exist...I just want to let you that our silence is missed...

This is just to show that things are never as they seem...Look closely as to what this poem really means. The person referred to is neither a woman or a man...Its a reflection of a self...only one person...that never learns to understand
