A crater filled moon

hung in the clouds

Schools of stars

Clustered in crowds

Twilight

Twinkling away

The night sky

Very quickly

Transforms into day

The sun halfway

over the horizon

Something spectacular

Isn't it?

That giant yellow

Orb rising

Sun is setting behind the trees

The hot weather keeps

Producing a gentle breeze

The colours from the sunset combine

and intertwine

Red, orange, yellow, gray and pink

Absolutely gorgeous don't you think

The sun goes down

By tommarow it will come around

The never-ending journey of

day and night

Some classify it as an old rite

The sun will replace the moon

The sunflowers will once

again be in bloom

The world quickly turns

The sun no longer facing this way

Its the other sides chance to burn

As we fall asleep on this side

The day animals from

their night stalkers will hide

In a rainbow

Splendid colours Unite

Orange. Yellow, Purple and Red

Every colour has an explanation that can't be said

A definition of beauty

A symbol of perfection

A description of grace

Just as beautiful in every place

Every Rainbow has a story to tell

And so have I

Cause my love resembles the sky

As the rainbow appears it's telling a divine story of you and I

The colours blend in to my emotions

Causing tremendous commotion

The orange is the flame that will forever burn

The yellow is the heat that I always yearn

Purple is the peace I feel when we are at ease

The passion so red

You left prints on my heart wherever you tread

Blue! Does that explain my love for you?

Maybe green might resemble my love so keen

So you see my love is like the rainbow

As it appears happiness i'v been bestowed

I love the way you worked a love poem into a natural wonder as a poem.

Very nice...very nice indeed!

Beautiful rays of light

penetrate through the windows

driving away the night

The sun majestic

In its corner in the sky

The chariot of Helios on the freeway

Way up high

Its right after dawn

Th rays of sunshine glistening

On the flowers,plants and lawns

The children laugh

The lovers swoon

The musician play upbeat tunes

Aurora shines her many rays

Brightes and Strongest

At the beginning of each day

Its abstract poetry it has nothing to do with my feelings its all based on my observations. Watching a sunset or sunrise is so much prettier than watching night (how friggen dull and boring is that). Its only 3 poems on my part how can that be classifed as obsession. And my second poem had nothing to do with mornings it was a sunset poem (as in the sun is setting you know like going down... as in it will be night in a while)

I like that abstract poetry thing.nice drop

Pixie.

You know when you're looking out the window or something, and you just stare for what seems like hours. you're just looking out like no one gives a shit until some asshole interupts everything.

you had the best damn view of the setting sun and its kledscopic colors as it hits the grass. with the nice red flowers. when some jerk-off comes in with his what they call it. a damn lawn mower with a fancy seat. you know? then he comes in and kills all the damn grass. and the damn flowers. and the sky gets angry. it extends it's arms and strangles the jerk-off. and theres lightning.

this gorgeous storm starts. the arms start to shake the guy back and forth. then finally, the arms throw him on the ground. gouge his eyes out you know? all the while he's trying to scream you know? his teeth are chattering and the screams come out as wisps.

it's not even funny. it sounds like he's crying. almost made you turn around and think..but DAYUM! almost doesn't COUNT but the sunset sho' is Beautiful

Rudy: The second post in this topic is a sunset poem

Ms Word: Good poem as always. I like how your poem is a narration (I can almost see myself there)

Maybe I should change the name of this thread to abstract poetry...

^^ its alright we can't be everything

heres another of my abstract poems

I call it a Box of Wonders

The box in the isolated room blares

The images flash on and off

like temperamental flares

Everything on seems to make

you scowl or scoff

Everything, nothing

Everything, nothing

You have everything before you

And your watching nothing

The gadget filled box

With the images flashing is one of the

Reasons why many things are crashing

You think your getting educated

But its just a gaping hole

In the end That mechanical box

Will steal a part of your soul
