What consequences? 😂

The only trick that Somalia has in its hat is 'weep and cry' and put on an innocent hopelessness face. That is all.

Somalia is internationally recognised country which is a member and has representatives in the world's international organisations such as UN, AU, Arab league, IGAD. Furthermore, Somalia has friends who might have strategic interest in Somalia so no country would want to have diplomatic fall out with a such country unnecessarily for supporting a small insignificant region of Somalia which does not have any value on world stage as there is no one country in the world that recognises it. Even Western Sahara with its 20 plus countries recognised  has more use than Somaliland though Morocco has absolute control over it.

What can Somalia do other than beg and plead?

Can it sanction Guinea financially? No.

Can it perform a military operation against Guinean targets? No.

Can it even send AMISOM to sort out its disagreement with Guinea? Hell no 😁

It can only write letters of complaints, beg other bodies to implore Guinea. We all know this.

Literally throughout the recent history of Somalia, the only reason it was relevant to world powers was the strategic location of Berbera port. Other than that its main exports were bananas 😂

It is Somalia that is of little value without Somaliland, not the other way round. Berbera port was the only reason Russians and Americans were interested in providing all the generous loans and grants in the cold war period.

What? Berbera? Are you dreaming? What significance does Berbera has Now? Zero. Your delusion make you see things man. No wonder you have been telling yourselves you are country for 30 years.

Your screwed logic of country is Army, finance? No mate. It is also about alliances, interests, importance of having friendly countries on world stage. Why do you thing Saudi Arabia and UAE, went bananas when Somalia declared a neutral position in regards to Qatar saga? They just wanted to show the world that there many countries on their side than they are on Qatar's side.

- @MofaSomalia: I have cut diplomatic ties with Guinea.

@BBCSomali: Do you have any diplomatic ties with Guinea, e.g. an embassy/consulate, an ambassador...etc? -

@MofaSomalia: No.

What if this is Kenya supported..

Kenya is very influencial country in Africa after Nigeria, Ethiopia, Egypt and South Africa.

It will not do iteself anything against Somalia, but can send its friends to get the message.

Suldaanka must be enjoying some of the painful posts here. Throwing bomb every page to see how we react.

Both US and Soviet Union provided aid to the Somali Republic during the cold war in exchange of use of Berbera. Pretty much all the aid be it military or financial was predicated on rights of use of Berbera.

What made the Somali Republic so valuable at the time, and the recipient of so much aid, was the strategic location of Berbera.

Its history sxb, you can not change it.

This trip was money well spent for Somaliland I m not sure how much it cost them but this is the kind of outcome or reaction they were looking for from Somali government.

They put themselves into a tight corner.

Now, when President Muse Bihi Abdi arrives in Nairobi later in the year, we expect Cheeseman to have the balls to cut all links with Kenya.   🤣

Rising? Apart from this Gunea affair and angry UAE, it was tough times for seccessionist entity. Recognition was not forthcoming, and their prifile weakening as Somalia slowly recovers politically, financially and diplomatically. It is true for Puntland too.

Apophis

Another massive misstep by the fool in Villa Somalia.

The man is borderline autistic.

From now on we should call him “madaxyare”.
