For the adoption article...it seemed to me that the author was more appalled at the thought of aborting on the basis of future disability of the child rather than the act of abortion itself. I would think she would be horrified at the aborting of fetuses, whether healthy or disabled.

 

& for the poly-relationship article...that may disgust us...but how does one refute a person who compares that to polygamy? :confused: The world is getting disgusting by the day honestly.

 

Next people having s*x with their pets would want to come out of the 'closet' and protest to be accepted without prejudice. Oh Lord!

Do not compare polygamy to that animalistic act, baliis. How in the world a mentally stable man would willingly share his wife with two or more men, while equally that husband has an "intimate" with their other respective wives--all in the same room and seeing one another? And all of this, they are still "married"!!

There's nothing new about about killing babies who happen to have birth defects. They used to be exposed, left out to die, abandoned or otherwise eliminated. Abortion is just the same act at an earlier age. The objection I have is that doctors who advice someone to do so are just frighteningly arrogant.

 

As for the murders, come on. Are you suggesting there's some sort of trend? They are sensational news stories, not a common theme in Western society.

 

Finally, the "polyamorists". What's the objection? Isn't polygamy essentially the same thing?
