LoL @ Rahima...erm, what does that mean exactly?

It means that I consider myself as someone who has passed the stage of GIRL (puberty is marker) but has not yet advanced to the stage of womanhood.

The marker for womanhood is not as clearly defined, but i know i have yet to reach it.

Don't ask me how, i just do :D . Call it an instinct, intuition ;) !

I have considered my self as a woman, ever since I've traded in my Reebok Classics for an amazing pair of high hilled shoes and I’ve started buying Pride Magazine of a regular basis. LOL

On the real, womanhood / manhood or adulthood for me is defined more by the level responsibility you hold.

When you become a person in your own right, start thinking for yourself (rather than follow your mates) and are in full charge of how your life is run. Which may vary depending on the individuals ability / other factors. Then you’re an adult: man / woman.

I don’t think being married or having kids make females more of a woman. Even though dhaqan would say otherwise.

I also disagree with the notion that adults are very different to children. You don’t suddenly get handed a new brain and personality traits on your leap from child to adult.
