If that is the case, then Rwanda of 1994 will be visiting a Somali village in the Kililka in the near future. I hope to God that Mr Iley didn't start a civil war between the teeming Oromo (who in turn will be actively supported by Addis's government with full force of the federal army) against Skinny Somali villager with nothing under his belt other than an AK47 to his name.

Oodweyne,

Where have you been ninyahow? They have been killing Somalis on the border and in Oromia, obviously remotily to Rwanda.

I have a feeling these two gentlemen in the picture are cooking-up something of a political come-back for their particular "ethnic block". And that in turn will give Oromos in power now a few fretful and sleepless night in Addis.

Lets hope that they will forswear a "violent insurrection" of the kind that did removed the old-warhorse, namely, Mr Mengistu in his day from power, to be their way of tussling, politically, with the current and the newly-empowered Oromos.

And of course, Oromos are in turn waxing and preening their newly found "status" at the top of the pile in Ethiopia. Whilst on most other days they are engaged in an orgy of ethnic cleansing against others in the country. And that seems to be their political way of "sowing their oats" (as it were). Lets hope for the best in here.

Everyone in Ethiopia is bringing from the grave of politics anyone they think they can use, even toilet sinks let alone kitchen sinks.

Eritrea is the only beneficiary. Ethiopia back to its old ways one step forward two steps back.

And now oil added mixed to it. Geopolitics to it, internal conflicts to it.

All of this has come to meet in kililka.

That is not true. This has been campaigned last 2 years yet it was only Somalis killed deep inside Oromo kilil, but never one Oromo killed deep in kililka. Some were put in protective custody a year ago and that proved to be best move.

I am not sure what the benefit of Somalis is from all sides attacking kililka using false information from likes of Jawar.

What has been happening was in the works for couple of years.

Ethiopian government trying to replace assembly and Iley of kililka. Its too strong, too independent and dangerous for separation. Cannot be allowed to replace itself smoothly and somebody separatist taking over a military an economy a media an education system and administrative organization that is only and too much Somali.

Ethiopian government cannot allow Iley to transfer all that smoothly to next guy. Some chaos need to be manufactured so that Ethiopia can have reason to enter the internal systems in kililka. There are ready instruments of "democracy and human rights army" for this and were to be gathering in Dir Dawa that is not kililka and depose Iley and elect their man Ethiopia's man.

Ethiopian govt option is make a replacement government for kililka outside and carry it into kililka.

That is where things are.

Eritrea is now the main interested party and the Oromo have given them including the barn as long as the Eritrean keep Tigray, Afar and Somali in check. There is similar preparation in North as well. Army from Eritrea is in Amhara area positioned to attack Tigray if needed and from Eritrean border.

Finding replacement government is easy for kililka. There is more than enough Somalis to do that. They might actually be too many and will compete against each other.
