Tarawiix Prayer

Recommended Posts

Ibtisam

You should finish with the Imam in order to get your full reward, however traditionally tarawiix prayer is not how we pray, what you should do is pray two rakkah, read some Quran, do duca, then two more etc. So if you go somewhere and they race thorough 20 rakkahs, you can pray 8 by taking breaks in the middle, do some duca and read yet still finish with the imam. Allah aCalum, but that is what my teacher told me. smile.gif

STOIC

After a long day of work I normally try to finish the first four rakaahs on weekdays, but on a Friday/saturday/sunday nights I do finish the taraweeh prayer. My Imam rocks.I like his sermons in between the breaks.Although he is not fluent on English most of the African American Salafi muslims do enjoy his khutba.

My legs gave up on me after the first 2 rakkahs on several occasions, so I have decided to leave tarawih all together because they are not dependable.

The numbers don't bother me but I am scouting for sheikhs with good Qira'aat. May Allah bless our marathon sheikhs in East Ham but they recite the Qur'an too fast, which makes them mumble.
