  1. in Xukuumadda Somaliland la fahmi karo, suurtogalna ay tahay inay ka dabacsanaato labada xisbi ee Mucaaridka ah ee KULMIYE iyo UCID. unlike the government they have nothing to lose.
  2. Being a Somali sometimes means Somali national and sometimes ethnic Somali. Everyone who lives in Somalia can be called Somali while we are really know that ethnically they are not Somali. For example, there are several ethnically deferent communities that resides in Somalia such as Somali Bantus (J.wayne from Tanzania), Reer Brava (ethnically from Portuguese), D & M (they call themselves qowmiyada D & M and Arabs. All these groups are called Somalis because they are somali nationals. On the other hand, people of Republic of Djibouti are called i 'guess' Djaboutians or something while we all really know there are two different ethnic groups in Djibouti -Somali and afar. So if the people in Somaliland call themselves Somalilanders that is who they are. what is the problem people? If i remember well we used to call (Mogadishu and other cities in the south)and some especially old generation, including my mum, call people from Somaliland, 'somalileyn' which means Somalilander. If you are against separation its understandable but nothing to do with the term 'Somalilander' its valid and existed long before current status of Somaliland.
  3. I hope this will become the beginning of the new Somalia. Although for the first time in our history we have parliament full of warlords but who knows what will happen. The BBC's Adam Mynott in Nairobi says the new parliament is intended as a precursor to an elected authority and, it is hoped, will start to bring an end to an ugly and bloody chapter in Somalia's history. read on
  4. Xuseen Caydiid – la mood noqonse waa!
  5. LST Saxardiid, I think it was more than one tribe. As Dude said only Ali Samater was the odd one out even him was brought up by old man named Haji Elmi from Jamaame so Pres. Barre trusted him. Ayoub Saladboy was a Deputy in the MoD as well. I really don't know his other have paid jobs. It was the culture of the Regime to give several titles to its ministers. E.g. Gen Barre was once the president, minister for MOD, minister of foreign affairs etc.
  6. Abdiqaasim who was Defence and Interior Minister I know he once become the interior minister but i don't think he has ever been the Defence minister coz Pres. Barre never trusted ina salad's tribe. Only one tribe ever claimed that position and you know whom they are no need for more explanation.
  7. Dr. Galeyrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! is our next president of Somalia not Dictator ina yeey. Got it or need in far waaweyn laguugu qoro.
  8. I don't think there are many people who will fight for him so relax people there will be no war between these two groups.
  9. I would think they were told, but they never took it as dark. I guess we have to remind them constantly so they might one day realise just that. this man stood up for Somalia looooooooooooooooooool
  10. the others are thinking of bringing charges against warlords It happened in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Rwanda and so forth why not Somalia. I'm 100% support it and hope it happens sooner rather than later.
  11. This can only be a good news. I hope it becomes the fist step on a new, safe and secure Somali.
  12. HornAfrique Saxardiid gacan ayaan kuu taagay! Sxb I was just giving a little lesson about the crimes of A/Y to his diehard supports so they would know his dark history, something no one ever told them.
  13. [ Originally posted by Waryaa Dude: [QB] Saxardiid: yes those are facts. He received medals for that. Especially the big war against Ethiopia in 1978, he had reconquered the region's capital city of Godey. Because you said so doesn't make facts, you haven't mention any credible sources, did you? Now what were you implying again? waryaa sheydaanka 'cuqdad qabiil' la yiraahdo iska naar. good tactic sxb accusing me 'cuqdad qabiil' while you blindly defend the Guy wiht no other reason but qabil loyalty. The reason is that you rushed accusing me 'cuqdad qabil'.without knowing which qabil I’m from. - 100.000s death victims of famine in Bay and Bakool he didn't do that! - 10.000s death victims in the genocide campaign of Siyaad Barre in Hargeysa and Burco he didn't do that! - 10.000s death victims in USC's uproot campaign in Mogadishu he didn't do that! - 1.000s death victims in SNF and USC's genocide campaign he didn't do that! - planting drugs on Somali fertile soils he doesn't do that! - systematic destruction of hargaysa and Burco he didn't do that! - destruction of Muqdisho, Marka, Brava and Kismaayo he didn't do that - mass killings in Gaalkacyo he didn't do that, he even fought against the perpetrators! - burning all trees and ship them to Dubai as charcoal he fights against that! you’re right to my knowledge he didn’t took part any of these and no one that I know said he did. - squandering and stealing of Somali public money he never did that! he bankrupted Puntland to fund his worklord friends. traitor: Sxb you haven’t mentioned any of his crimes. First of all he is traitor no1 selling all secret of the Somali government to the enemy. He also conspired with others to destroy the Somali republic. Coward: taking part the failed coup while others faced full force of the government he hided the border later to escape to the enemy. Murderer: He killed thousands of Somalis in tribal motivated attacks to innocent Somali people who are minding their affairs. One of unforgivable acts of treason his army and him had commited were to lead the enemy to Balanbale –district settled by siyad barre’s tribe and Goldogob – other district that is populated by tribe that has long and difficult war with A/Y’s sub-sub clan. The enemy with the help of your hero killed and maimed somalis for long period of time until Somali army kick them out. Do you think their lives count nothing? Dictator: Eliminating lots of his opponents in SSDF thus forcing the remaining kulmis members to surrender to the government. Murderer: What about lots of people he killed during his so called war with wadaado in early 1990’s, eliminating anyone he sees as challenge to his leadership. Terrorist: He hired militia from Somali region in Ethiopia and used as terror army in Puntland, especially during the months he spent hiding in Mudug. Dictator: Over throwing elected legitimate regional government. Sxb these instants were noted in our national collective memory. If you need more evidence please talk to the people from those places.
  14. SNW Since we are on facts, do you rebute that Abdullahi is a decorated war hero, who fought bravely against Ethiopia in both 1964 and 1978? Is this what you call facts? Where did you get this idea? Or is it permanent feature in the Qabiil meetings to promote A/Y image?
  15. Leaving aside the big brother statement and hostility of the two nations, these points are worth discussing, some them have got their own merit. Originally posted by Fyr-Kanten: [QB] HOW TO SKIN DJIBOUTI. 1. Forge a close and warm political, economic, and social relations with Ethiopia, the big brother in the region. 2. Enter Free Trade Agreements with Ethiopia. As long as the question of the sovereignty and recognition has not being solved Ethiopia will not commit itself for long-term relationship. 3. Give Ethiopia the contract to manage the Berbera port in order to entice it to use our main port just like the way Djibouti has contracted out its port to an Abu Dhabi company or Arabs. Note: in the past Ethiopia somewhat managed the shipping and receiving of its goods at the Djibouti port. The game Ethiopia is playing is to use several completing ports so to get the cheapest one without investing lot of money. What happened to the Eritrea port of Asab frights Ethiopia. 4. Declare Berbera port as free port. This will be good idea but political lot in Hargeysa wouldn't let this happen as they see the policy of taxing as their main policy of income. 5. Give Ethiopia a corridor to access the sea through the dormant Zeila port in exchange of the return of the Reserve Area to Somaliland. Or contract out the use of Zeila port in exchange of free electric power from Ethiopia. Good idea but will the people of the region have a say about their destiny I mean both Zeila and Reserve Area region. 6. Enlarge Berbera port, and construct other ports at Zeila, Karin, Maydh, and Laas Qorey to diminish the status of Djibouti port in the region. Are you forgetting these projects cost lot of many and know how. The only way possible to achieve them is to have close tie with wealthy Arab countries in the Golf. Or to get funding from western countries and institutions that more then simple persuasion. Both of them don't seem forthcoming but who knows after the conference in Kenya lot of thing may change including the status of the SL. 7. Lift restrictions on border trade at Lowya Ado and other border points so as to flood cheap Somaliland goods in Djibouti to the benefit of the oppressed people of this poor country. Why restrictions on the first place? If lifted DJ will stop all business activities from her country to SL, which will have detrimental to many communities in Awal region. 8. Forge good relations with the oppressed Afar people and other opposition groups in Djibouti. Banish their businesses and key businessmen from illegally benefiting from Somaliland, etc. Tit for Tat policy, DJ has several distraction buttons to bush one of them is using AY to demand more territories form SL and some old friends from Mogadishu. 9. Break political, economic, and social relations with the current Djibouti government, etc. SL did this before with no effect to DJ and Humiliating effect made U-turn. So let us begin to skin Djibouti in the many ways I have stated on the above. Do you think DJ will standstill while all these policies applied to her? What you need is or its time for you now to look critically what the effects will be for SL and check why some of your suggestions, which was applied by the SL Gov already, didn't work. Ask yourself why this time it will be different. Whatever reply you give I must commend you for your suggestions that is in short supply in this forum.
  16. As admitted by Colonel Abdullahi Yusuf to the High Court of the United Kingdom, Sultan Hurre was killed by Colonel Abdullahi Yusuf own bodyguards. Sarcastically, this extra-judicial execution took place while Colonel Abdullahi was just watching it from a vantage point. This type of execution was similar to those carried against Colonel Farah Mohamed Said (Farah Dheere) in 2002 and Abdirahman Aideed in 1984. What these men shared was nothing else but by being the political opponents of Colonel Abdullahi. The abuse of human rights and the attitude “why bother my political enemies, when I can eliminate them†has became the trademark of the colonel. quality speaks it self, don't you think? What you see is what you get
  17. I support either of these two candidates Dr. Galeyr and Amb. Adow. Galeyr has many good points and he is not scared by any thing whether moriyaan in Mogadishu or dictator A/Y. Because of his talent he created lot of people against him (jealousy could be the reason). On the other hand, Amb. Adow is talented and never participated in the civil war. If either of these men get the job I won't be complaining.
  18. Talking about dayniile.com, here is the reason why he should be the president of the republic. It depends how you rate the site. Col. C/llaahi Yuusuf “Soomaaliya uma baahna wadaad gacma jilicsan ee waxey u baahan tahay habaarqabe hanitya, habaar-qabena waa aniga C/llaahi ah†pretty good reason huh
  19. he'll be most likely the president of the Democratic Republic of Somalia Insha Allah. I don't think so. Ethiopia out of the picture for the moment he is not capable of reaching consensus with different groups who will be a key for him to reach that position. The guy is dictator by nature and spent all his life to become a president. Insha Allah he won’t be a president for Somalia and probably he will be in a prison cell where he belongs.
  20. Just look these pictures! Read on here
  21. 15. Minister of Fadhi Ku Dirir Affairs and Cyber warriors To serve a large constituency abroad who need representation Candidate should prove that : a. He was on welfare for the last 12 years and hold several degree either philosophy, history etc. b. Never worked a day to earn a living and brilliant in shaxaad c. Who found out all about his tribes origin after the Civil War or through SOL posts. Members of this very section will be candidates for this ministry.
  22. And they killed Ibn Hubayrah, the ameer of 'Iraaq and they also killed Marwaan, the khaleefah - and it was reported that the murderers killed around eighty people from the Banoo 'Umayyah in a single day - and then they placed their blankets above the corpses, sat upon them and then called for food and drink. I can't figure out obeying these savages make me a good Muslim. What happened in those days was just tribal wars and nothing to do with Islam. I don't know the difference between Sadam and those you called khalifas? They both tyrannical and blood thrusts dictators who made our din mockery. About the khilafa, When HT massage couldn't get through to Muslim Ummah they trying now to force them to accept it. Muslims are working very hard to get rid of their tyrannical leaders and establish a system that allows them to choose who they want to lead or what system of government they want to use. Call democracy if you like but they are not interested changing one tyrant to another whatever label they carry be khalifa or Iyatulahi or Amir.
  23. Waa inuu istaago isnaceebka aan macnaha laheen iyo isaruufka aan meel gaarsanayn. Ilaahay meel na gaarsii. We have wept too much. We have bled too much. We have dreamt too much. mash Allah powerful words from heart to every somali.
  24. Many so called businesses in Somalia get their money illegally and they are those who are against the formation of any kind of Somali government. We are living under a government and getting all the benefits that comes with it roads, airports, police etc. I pay my taxes knowing I get better service for the few quid that I contribute to the treasury. Isn't it hypocritical to deny similar things for our people back home because of ideology of some sort. I like my people and wish best central government in the world.
