  1. -me- Sxb, you are to funny for words. you make a completely unfounded statement and when asked to back it you think you can disguise by asking a question yourself. such childish behaviour isnt worth debating with. seems like Bada Cas was right about you from the beginning.
  2. Out of the three previous contendors for the title the most sensible for Somalilanders would be Siilaanyo. he showed his patience and integrity in giving his claim for the presidency in the last election and has consistently shown his commitment to the Somaliland cause.
  3. I am personally hoping for ina Meygaag Samatar to throw his hat into the contest. he is a very calm, pragmatic and popular man in political circles and i reckon if he took the UDUB leadership theyd win this election.
  4. -ME- I dont know why my post was sensored but for the record the word they sensored was s.t.u.p.i.t.y. that is something that is prevalent in many a folk in Somalia so it is a truth not an insult. i dont why the mods banned that one because i have seen words 100 times worse then that on this forum. Sxb, you keep running away from the issue at heart. it was you originally claimed that 'Bari' wherever that may be, was more developed then Somaliland. now why dont you stop beating around the bush and show me where and how it is more developed. What measurements you use to back up your claim is up to you but answer the original question with the childish squable of. It is you not I who made the original claim so back it up with evidence or remain silent for your own dignity to remain in tact.
  5. MS Dhucdhuc&Dhelo, Sis, it probably isnt as common in the western based somali diaspora but there are disgusting treatments of our own brothers and sisters back home. it is an age old disease that is very hard to get rid of. In this you dont really experience the Somali culture at its most prevalent so you wont notice the many negative aspectes of it. However i do commend Hadraawi&others for their conference to bring this issue out in the open. that is very good step forward and must continue on similar scales if is get the awareness this issue deserves
  6. MR. Me Sxb throwing mindless insults are not my thing so i wont divulge in your little game. However i will answer answer your fair question. You said that Gobolka Bari is more developed then the whole of Somaliland so i would like you to show me where and how it is more developed then Somaliland. dont answer my question by posing another question sxb. Bada Cas, brother i like to show ignorance and ********* where it is at its most blatant so i answer every question no matter how invalid it actually is. these folk consider ignorance to be bliss so i see your point that trying to point them in the direction is in some way pointless.
  7. People who support the TFG cannot come on here and start preaching about somaliweyne. this follows a simple reasoning method that seems to have alluded most you before you started your incoherent diatribe on this thread and on this forum in general. Who have been the two biggest enemies of the 'Somaliweyne' concept. those of you with even a shred of knowledge in this area will know that it was and still is Kenya and Ethiopia who have the most to loose if the 'Somaliweyne' concept was ever to materialise. they have fought against the concept for as long as they have existed and the demise of somalia in general has benefited them the most. Now how does the TFG relate to this i hear you ask? Simple The TFG was set up and organised in and by Kenya, under the pretence that they cared about the suffering of Somalia. the warlords were given the mandates by their Kenyan lords and have the task of enforcing it. To compound this the control of the TFG has now switched to the other arch-enemy of the Somaliweyne dream-> Ethiopia. they are ensuring that this concept can never materialise again by pulverising the people and country that dreamt up this concept. They did this at the TFG's invite and in alliance with the TFG who have now become the third arch-enemy of the Somali people. So please stop insulting our intelligence by asking us to remember the 'Somaliweyne' goal when you are busy destroying it and bending over to the countries that despise that goal.
  8. JB, Bro, i havent heard that bit of news from Riyaale yet. anywhere on the net where i can acces it.
  9. MR.ME Tell me gobolka bari has got that Somaliland doesnt have. none of the towns in those regions are more developed then Hargeysa and Booraame. Dont just throw mindless statement like that without any evidence into the arguement. Lets see if you can produce the evidence. I doubt it
  10. LOOL, I am surprised you fellow landers dignify this thread with such a lengthy discussion. it is not worthy of that. P.S. I have a Somaliland flag waving outside my house in london does that mean London belongs to Somaliland. The lack of intelligence of these folks astonishes me.
  11. They should not desecrate my beautiful hometown of Sheikh with their disugusting and unwelcome presence. Period
  12. I remembar my last trip to africa i was in transit in Hargaisa for about 20 minute. all I could see at the airport was Etho. Lol, you are one confused brother. you sure you wasnt in Addis . Anyways there is nothing wrong with ethiopian civilians being in hargeisa or any other part of Somaliland for that matter. they are normal people who have done us no harm so why should object to them. The problem is having ethiopian troops occupying your country which is what is happening in the south. that is intolerable and it is a grave crime that your uncle has commited against the southerners to invite them there. You need to wake up and smell the air of reality coz that is something sadly you and your folks are lacking
  13. This MF will pay for his crimes one way or another. you cant keep hiding him forever.
  14. I cant understand why they keep crying about an impending war. if Somaliland wanted a war they would be on it right now but that is not what is happening so why these puntland folk crying all the time?
  15. Interesting article. he is a muslim dude and seems to be very capable indeed of ruling nigeria so i wish him all the best
  16. This is very welcome indeed but it still a needle in haystack compared with the other side of the news being spread by pro-government entities
  17. Puntland have to stop crying now, it is getting pathetic. if they dont want a war then it wont happen> Simple as that
  18. That is actually considered a succes by the TFG so i expect their supporters to be jumping here anytime DECLARING VICTORY
  19. How can a government that divides that divides itself up on clan basis expect to be succesful
  20. Simple answer to your question- no Most of the western media love to spill diatribe that is gargled by their governments. the american media that even says anything, usually follows the same lines as their goverment. you do get the odd source of western media showing a more neutral and realistic view of the situation
  21. Interesting posting, some good points i think about the dire situation in somalia
  22. Justice has been served and i hope this proves to be a deterrent for those who wish to destroy peace by killing innocent people.
  23. 1-0 it is then. good result for chelsea but by no means is the tie anywhere near over. it is very thight still.
  24. I would be happy with a 1-0 win for the blues tonight. It will be very tight no-one is really gonna go for it until the second leg.
