Lazygirl for real sis thanx for the good laugh, lol Excellent critique for Sho! Qac Qac, Saxib word of advice , you see the cardinal rule of this line of work is that you NEVER admit defeat no matter how bleak things maybe, learn the art of refutation, you must at all times reciprocate with swift and witty comments! Excuses are you key arsenal. Make notes of your opponent’s flaws even if their minute, use them to you advantage especially when they think they have you subdued! Watch this; Golden_Child its funny how a knick fan actually fines the courage to diss Da Raptors.Hold up.... HAHAHAHAH . . Ya Habibi Stop fantasizing about our lost to the Clippers, so what, we are a game ½ behind division leaders. Its all about the butter Saxib, who cares what you go through along the way, as long as you get it! You may not have notice but the defeat served our purpose, it highlighted our deficiency, now we have time to recuperate and mend our weak points! As you see Vince maybe saying his farewells, perhaps he may not go alone. But rest assure, we are still in the playoff race and the season is still young! Seatle and the Spurs hahaah I suspect you haven’t read†David and Goliath†should be a walk in the park Saxib! Just wait and see !
  2. What you and I say (that is negative) about a dead intellectual is slander, because that kind of thing is 'above our league'. Notice how I didn't use the word 'slander' in describing the manner in which the scholar criticised Sayid Qutb? There is a reason for that . Ya miskeen, did i say something that conflicts with the Shaykh's fatwah?I think not, i merely pasted his kaalam? So let me get this straight, what the scholar said is not “ Slander or an attack†however if anyone like myself uses his fatwah and quotes him precisely; granted, it may not be word for word, but precise meaning, then its a “Slander†and “An Attackâ€?!? Is this how you reason? You see saxib in the Islamic arena, when one speaks about something that pertains to islam, he/she generally, not usually states his views, and since this Deen is not based on opinions he/she backs up his/her views with Kitab and Sunna, if they are not accessable then the speech of those who inherit the prophet’s knowledge(i.e scholars)!Precisely what i did! at any rate you confessed, the shaykh’s words cant be considered “slanderâ€! Thus I am free from what you accuse me off, my input consisting of two lines sentence was a mere replica of the shaykh's statement!!!! In English, when someone starts by saying "correct me if I'm wrong...", it usually means that they are going to make an assumption (or a statement that you might not agree with). It doesn't mean that what the person said is "based on mere conjecture, devoid of knowledgehas already made up their mind", Bravo monsieur! C’exactement ce que j'avais essayé de transporter à vous!Allahu musta'an You see, in the grammatical construction of the English language,†conjectureâ€, takes two forms, it could be a “ Verb†or a “ Nounâ€. When it takes the position of a verb, it means “to believe especially on uncertain or tentative grounds†However when it’s used in the Noun format, it means “a hypothesis that has been formed by assuming†therefore Assumption and conjecture are synonyms. In one of your post you first assumed and asked to be “corrected†upon your assumptions, and then few lines down you wrote with conviction!you either know i read them or you dont, kapish? also, it's not that I can not answer your question, I just find it ludicrous, I mean the amount of books I read does not change the facts! If I read 1000 of his books or zero means Jack! because I, my brother do not have sufficient knowledge to determine what is Bid’ah and what is sunnah, what is Haaq and what is Baatil, so I rely on the kaalam of the Ulama, those steeped in Islamic theology, those competent enough to discern between Haaq and Baatil !!!! I noticed you substituted the word “Scholar†for “Intellectualâ€! care to tell us what makes him intellectual? What is the criteria in islam for one to be intellectual?
  3. Anyone who things European fotball is not racist is in an other planet! i remember that half Somali half italian player, forgot his name, who plays or atleast was playing for Lazio, Man you do u how they threat him, even when he was pointed to play for the national team! all those racist chants where just to much!
  4. Dragon, Masjid SalaaHadeen, which i use to attend for ten years, and Khalid Bin Walid, (the imam is a close family friend, excluding me) are as they were when they first start! A decade has gone by and they remain as such! I believe Salaahadeen, a brother from Madinah, a guyanese brother, is lecturing there now! Cant recall his name!(could be wrong though, i havent been there in a while) and now by the grace of Allah, we established our publication and website known WORLDWIDE!!!!! and truly Allah was true in his words! " O you who believe! If you help Allâh, He will help you, and make your foothold firm."( 47:7) You said they were reverts? na'm some of the brothers are reverts, but this did not dimish their love for this deen! i put forward an example; i know two brothers who have been muslim for over 3 years now, mashallah they possess great knowledge! Truly Allah guides whom he wishes! and how beautiful are the words of the most High! " Truly they were young men who believed in their Lord and We increased them in guidance". Suratul Kahf 18:13 you wrote "The reason am asking, this group is or was perceived to be controversial/misguided by most Muslims in Toronto" This statement is rather far-fetched, The Muslims In toronto comprise of many factions, from shiaism, sufism, Ahmadeyism...and the beat goes on... nevertheless, lets assume your statement is true, then we refer back to Hadith of the messenger of Allah(saw)! The Saved Sects revives the Sunnah of the Messenger in their act of worship, behavior and lifestyles. And due to this, they become strangers among their own people, as the Prophet has informed us would happen with his words: "Indeed Islam began as something strange and it will return to being strange as it began. So give glad tiding to the strangers." So who are the Ghuraba in Toronto YA Dragon?
  5. As-salaam ’alaykum wa rahmatullaahi wa baraakatuh, A brief History The Reign of Islaamic Da’wah’, Toronto, Canada The Early Years In 1996 a group of zealous young Muslims began to give da’wah in the streets of Toronto. This small yet essential da’wah effort progressed to become ‘The Reign of Islaamic Da’wah Centre.’ We are a diverse, multi-ethnic group of young brothers and sisters who volunteer our time, wealth and skills to spread pure Islaam through various mediums to the Muslims and the non-Muslims. Our efforts in street da’wah almost eight years ago resulted in countless people embracing Islaam by the will of Allaah. We rented a small facility which became the first da’wah centre in Toronto, Canada. We had very limited resources at the time; 300-400 audio cassettes, a tape dubbing machine, a few books and a phone line. We struggled and strove in the path of Allaah and al-hamdulillaah; we managed to collect enough money to print 30,000 da’wah leaflets. This massive project resulted in countless new Muslims by the grace of Allaah, the All-Mighty. Many of these young reverts became strong in their religion and joined this noble da’wah effort. As the community grew, so did the need for a larger facility and a wide range of Islaamic projects evolved. In order to pave the way for the Muslims to continue their Islaamic development; ‘aqeedah classes, Arabic lessons, a book and tape store, counselling and other social services would need to be made available. In 1997, the da’wah centre relocated to a much larger location in a bustling area. The new facility included a sisters section, structured classes, not to mention daily da’wah services and an open door for all people, Muslims and non-Muslims alike to learn about the true Religion of Islaam. We sought and achieved registered non-profit status with the government of Canada in 1998. Another landmark was reached in 1998 with the help of Allaah, the All-Powerful and the efforts of a few Muslims. We managed to distribute 50,000 leaflets entitled ‘20 Questions about Islaam’ in addition to 600 audio cassettes. The leaflets were intended to call the non-Muslims to Islaam, a supplement to the already successful ‘tawheed’ pamphlet. To our joy, these leaflets were inspirational to the Muslims and became an instrumental tool in calling the Muslims in our community to the sunnah. As the da’wah increased so did the necessary activities. Da’wah was established in the prisons, Friday Prayer and Islaamic classes in schools and universities, counselling services were freely available and lectures and seminars were established. At this juncture, the da’wah centre had evolved full-circle in the service of da’wah to the Muslims and the non-Muslims. In June of 1998, the da’wah centre investigated the potential of creating a website to present the services of the centre and our da’wah pamphlets. This small project grew to become the face of the da’wah centre. Through time, troid.org has emerged from a single web page to become one of the largest Islaamic knowledge base on the internet. During the last three years, articles and audio cassettes have been consistently published online for the benefit of the entire world. This became a global da’wah platform which allowed us to present the writings and recordings of the Scholars and their students to the masses. At present, we have over 500 articles and over 200 audio streams online. This translates to over 2000 megabytes of data making it the largest known salafee website online. The site has seen over half a million visitors in its 3½ year existence. Currently an average of 1600 people visit the site each day and an average of 3500 pages are viewed daily. The Separating of 'Ahlul-Bid'ah wal-hizbiyyah' from Ahlus-Sunnah In 1999 entered, the salafiyyeen in Canada encountered the fitnah that had faced our brothers in England some years before, the fitnah of tamyee’, closet-Qutbism and overall opposition to the usool of ad-da’watus-salafiyyah. It was at this juncture, amidst the confusion of the callers to Innovation that the centre made a clear mawqif to make our allegiance to the noble Scholars of ahlus-sunnah wal-jama’aah such as Shyakh Rabee’ Ibn Haadee, Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan, Shaykh ‘Ubayd al-Jaabiree and other than them from Scholars of this ummah. The tapes of ‘ulamaa and the tullaabul-‘ulamaa were emphasised in direct opposition the mumayyee cries for ‘bringing the issues of the scholars of Canada (wallaahul-musta’aan)’ or ‘Shaykh Rabee’ doesn’t have time for these issues!’. It was during this year that our noble brothers from ‘waseelatus-salafiyyah’ in America were kind enough to visit us and advise us towards righteousness and piety. So, our noble brother, Kashif Khan al-Bataanee made many affairs clear to us and directed us to strengthen our ties with the trusted du’aat in the West such as our brother and elder, Aboo Uways ‘Abdullaah Ahmad, Aboo Khadeejah ‘Abdul-Waahid from Salafi Publications, Aboo Talhah Daawood Burbank (from the first of men to propagate salafiyyah in the West) and other than them. Our eyes were opened to the pathways to knowledge, we began to contact the ‘ulamaa and their students and continued to propagate their writings and speech upon the internet despite the angry insults of the hidden hizbiyyeen whom Allaah was exposing day by day. It was at this point that the centre began to solidify its direction and subsequently many of those who had diseases in their hearts, love of fame, hatred for the ‘Ulamaa and guised disdain for the salafee da’wah began to separate and called others to separation. And as had preceded many years before in England, a clear separation occurred between those who desired to be with the ‘Ulamaa and those who desired to oppose them and by Allaah, this was a barakah from Allaah, an aid to the da’wah and a light upon the path of salafiyyah, the da’wah of the noble Messenger (sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). Hugh Gains (wal-hamdulilaah) as Ahlus-Sunnah in Toronto strive forth upon clear salafiyyah Between 1999-2003, due to the abandonment of the financial support of many of the people (because to their disapproval of the direction of the centre – sticking firmly to the ‘Ulamaa and abandoning the personalities in the city who were separating the people from the scholars), the centre was moved to a smaller office, wal-hamdulilaah this only strengthened the brotherhood and increased the firmness of the community upon salafiyyah, and increased our hatred for shaqsiyyah and tamyee’. Despite the small facility (no larger than the average bedroom), the classes increased, the tele-links became more frequent and the emergence of TROID Publications (now with 6 books published) expanded the scope of the centre’s projects. This was a period of tasfiyah wat-tarbiyah for the community, a sign from Allaah that those who wish the spread this noble da’wah will be faced with trial upon trial. al-hamdulilaah, the community persevered, organising as many initiatives as possible; telephone lectures with some of the ahlul-ilm and du’aat in the West, the ‘eedayn were established, knowledge days, a class on thalaathatul-usool and tajweed. During this testing time, the salafiyyeen were not swayed by the siyyasah of ahlul-bid’ah, remaining firm upon the path of salafiyyah, not concerning themselves with the mockery of partisan ones. It was a ‘new beginning’ for the centre, establishing the usool of ad-da’watus-salafiiyah and cleansing the community of the years of shubuhaat at the hands of ahlul-hizbiyyah in our city. In striving to bridge the gap between the awaam and ahlul-ilm, we were graced by Allaah to be able to successfully host two seminars in Toronto with our beloved Shaykh, Fawzee al-Atharee from Bahrain. In the first and second seminar we had al-'Allaamah Zayd al-Madkhalee and Shaykh Yahyaa al-Hajooree from Yemen via tele-link, respectively. The Present Today, in 2004, the da’wah centre continues to grow in its activities. By the Grace of Allaah, a new facility has been opened which is more than thirty times the size of the previous location and will enable ahlus-sunnah to host the salaawat, khutbatul-jumu’ah, duroos, tele-links and various other events, free from tribulation, insha'Allaah. Truly this is a great success, a blessing from Allaah and a testament to the hard work of the local and international community. We thank Allaah, the giver of Mercy for this great blessing, we thank our noble brothers and sisters for their du'aa and their support and we ask Allaah to plant our feet firm upon this noble salafee manhaj, ever-loving to please and obey Allaah, clinging firmly to the kibaarul-'ulamaa - the inheritors of the Prophets, always hating innovation and it's callers. Your brothers at ‘The Reign Of Islaamic Da’wah’
  6. ^^ like your interpretation, if the word intellectual can be ascribe to anyone, then it would be our messenger(salalahu Alayhi wa salam), and anyone who follows his guidance and acts upon his guidance is in my view intellectual!

  9. Bismillah May Allah assist us! i think i once memorized all the songs from 2pac( All eyez on me), Alhamdulillah, Allah tabaraka wa ta’ala rescued me from the grasp of Shaytain! A Beautiful Statement of Ibn 'Abbaas Concerning Music Taken from Ahaadeeth-u Dhamm-il-Ghinaai wa-l-Mua'azaf fii-il-Mizaan Translated by tazkiyah.org A Muslim man said to Ibn 'Abbaas (Radhiallahu 'Anhu), "What do you say concerning Music? Is it permissible or is it forbidden?" He responded, "I do not say it is forbidden except what is found in the Book of Allaah." The man said, "So you say it is permissible then?" Ibn 'Abbaas stated, "I did not say that." Then he (Ibn 'Abbaas) said to him, "Do you see that truth and falsehood will come on the Day of Judgement, so where will music be on that day?" So the muslim man said, "It (music) will be with falsehood on that day." Upon this Ibn 'Abbaas closed with, "Go then for I have given the ruling for you." PS. Where is my dear and beloved Brother Muhajid, i truly miss that Brother! May Allah be with him!Ameen
  10. Bismillah It is frankly meaningless to extrapolate your initial request to be “ CORRECTED †which was based on mere conjecture, devoid of knowledge,Take heed of Allah's admonishment ; “guessing is no substitute for the truthâ€(53:28) and then your second assertion based on certainty, “ even without reading their works just because another learned mortal criticised him “ hope you see my concern! Ruminate on the word “slanderâ€, one can not consider the analysis and exposure of a scholar who studied, read and examined the works of an individual as “Slanderâ€, such statement is unjust and a gross lie!
  11. HAHAH i thought that was rather funny, imagine a Cad man ruling somalia, HAHAHA!
  12. You are today in the business of calling people 'apostate' even without reading their works just because another learned mortal criticised him You have some powers there, Are you sure I have not read any of his books? or listened to and read the refutations of the 10+ scholars! See when your not sure of something, its best to ask first, then remain patient until your given a response! seems your convinced though! Question and Answer: by Al-’Allaamah Muqbil Ibn Haadee al-Waadi’ee Q. What is your statement concerning the student of knowledge requesting the beginners to read Fee Dhilaalil-Qur‘aan, and to place it in their houses? A. Sayyid Qutb was merely called a writer, he was not called a mufassir (explainer of the Qur‘aan). So his tafseer is the tafseer of someone who lived in apostasy for eleven years, as he himself admitted. So how can that be a tafseer? Source: Fadaa‘ih wa Nasaa‘ih (p. 63-67) of Aboo ’Abdur-Rahmaan Muqbil Ibn Haadee al-Waadi’ee Viking perhaps my words and Shaykh Muqbil do not carry weight in your sight, if such is the case, then please Ask Brother Nur! since I have discussed this with him before!

  14. Viking; i will say this once, and inshallah, I pray to Allah you will understand my words and where I’m coming from. Seems you have a good common of the English language, don’t think you’d have any trouble comprehending. If you don't like Qutb and the others, just say so. Don't resort to saying that he makes things up to satisfy his whims. Saxib reveal something useful for once! Do you disagree with the Scholar, (and yes he is a scholar known and praised for his scholarship, (he is among the senior scholars) Shaykh Mu’sin AlAbaad! is he not qualified to do such a thing, then why cant people give it much thought and look into his words? Did he speak from his opinions? why didnt you accept his speech? It is that he did not read Mr Qutbs Books, and he decide to take up a pastime in slandering? Do you possess knowledge which may have escaped him? Worthless speech is for worthless people(no pun intended) You my brother, has let personality come between you and the Sunnah, and what a blameworthy way indeed! My Imam and beloved shaykh, Shaikh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (Rahimahullaah) said, " It is obligatory to punish everyone who ascribes himself to the people of innovation – or who defends them, or who praises them, or who reveres their books, or who detests that they should be talked about, or who begins to make excuses for them by saying he does not understand what these words mean or by saying that this person also authored another book and what is similar to these types of excuses which are not made except by an ignoramus or a hypocrite. Rather, it is obligatory to punish everyone who knows of their condition and did not assist in repelling their evil, for repelling their evil is one of the greatest of obligations." [Majmoo’ ul-Fataawaa (2/132] do you actually know what is a scholar?? do you have any idea about what makes someone a scholar?or do you merely spurt words on the screen? I suggest you study up on it! in the meantime go to the islamic section in this board and reread the post "islamic scholars" do yourself a favour and read their bios then maybe you wouldnt use the title so loosely! How someone could be a secularist and then a scholar few year after; indeed troubles the mind! “Please break it down for I am just a mere simpleton†If such is the case, and Truly Allah loves those who are truthful, then I sincerely suggest that you do not mix in affairs that are above you!
  15. on this day Saturday Nov 13th 2004 I wish all the Nomads here An exceptional Eid, May Allah shower All of us with Blessings and open the door of jannnah to us !!!! 16. Mutakalim as much as I wish to wrestle with you with words, really bro, it is a self-defeating process when it comes to the Ahlul Kaalam! “To borrow J11's words, it takes a scholar to criticize a scholar†the accuracy in your assessment is quite profound, but did you happened to miss this name†SHAIKH ‘ABDUL - MUHSIN IBN HAMAD AL - ‘ABAAD – “ do yourself a favour and open a brief investigation, entertain us with your intellectual prowess! inform us of his status as to whether he is a scholar or not! do save me from ignorance YA Philosopher king ! “P.S. I think the Admin has already warned you about "bad-mouthing" scholars, thusly your life expectancy on SOL is unfavorable.†I, and by no means do I possess telepathic dexterity, but I was sure you were going to pen such words, Hmmm! How this is relevant to you is beyond me! But inshallah I shall delete my post, save myself the trouble of offending you! Its the 29th of ramaadan saxib, such futile exchanges are frankly a waste of time!
  17. ^^^ Please do not misconstruct my post again SXB, (this is not the first time) the intention of the post is NOt to attack but simply Draw attention to those who used Mr Qutb as source of dalil for their argument! in addition it was a heads up for those those who are urge to read his works! This is a public form after all, exercising ones opinion is still permissable right? I will leave you with this and hope you get the meaning "addeena an Naseeha"(bukhari)
  18. ^^^ brother i agree with you," “Innamal acmaal biniyaat, wa likulimri’i maa nawaa..." The noble shaykh Uthaymin and Ibn Baaz both supported voting, for those wo residing in a kufar land! you intention is not to give the ultimate rule to man, but rather to take advantage of the limited opportunites available in order to worship Allah ta baraka wa ta'la without restrictions! wheter you vote or not, you will still be under man made laws so best to use it for your advantage, while keeping in might that The ultimate rule belongs to Allah tabaraka wa ta'wala! However its not encourage for the believers to make the land of the disbelievers their permanent abode this should be a Temporary objective !

  22. A Righteous Man Has Died Abu Awais Abdullaah Ahmad 'Alee (Died 25th Ramadhaan 1425H, rahimahullaah) All praise is due to Allaah, we seek His aid and His assistance and His forgiveness. We seek refuge from the evil of our souls and the evil of our actions. Whomsoever Allaah guides, there is none to misguide and whomsoever He misguides, there is none to guide. I bear witness that there is nothing worthy of worship except Allaah, alone and without any partners, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. To proceed: The eyes shed tears, there is sadness and grief in the heart, but we only say things pleasing to our Lord. Indeed we are saddened by the passing away of our brother Abu Awais, rahimahullaah. "Innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji'oon." "Indeed to Allaah we belong and to Him we shall return." Allaah, the Most Perfect and the Most High, said, "And give glad tidings to the patient - those who, when afflicted with a calamity, say 'Indeed to Allaah we belong and to Him we shall return.' It is those who will be rewarded with blessings and mercy from their Lord. And it is those who are the guided ones." (Al-Baqarah 2:155-157) Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alayhi wassallam) said: "To Allaah belongs what He took, and to Him belongs what He gave. Everything is recorded with him for an appointed term.." (Ahkaamul-Janaa'iz of Al-Albaanee) Muhammad bin 'Ubayd at-Tanaafisee said, "I was with Sufyaan ath-Thawree when a man came to him and said, 'I saw in a dream that a sweet smelling flower was raised up from the West.' Sufyaan said, 'If your dream is true, then Al-Awzaa'ee has died.' So they wrote that down, and later they found that he had indeed died upon that day." And Al-Awzaa'ee died in 157AH. This day in Ramadaan 1425AH, another sweet smelling flower has been raised from the West, this time from the USA. Sadaqah bin 'Abdullaah said, "I have not seen anyone wiser, more complete, nor better able to understand what he possessed than al-Awzaa'ee." I can say I have not known anyone in the USA wiser, more complete, nor better able to understand what he possessed than Abu Awais Abdullaah. Allaah's Messenger (salallaahu 'alayhi wassallam) said: "Whoever loves meeting Allaah, Allaah loves to meet him. And whoever hates to meet Allaah, then Allaah hates to meet him." (At-Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah, hadeeth declared Hasan by Al-Albaanee) I pray that Abu Awais is from those whom Allaah loves to meet. In all the time I have known him, I have never seen from him except truthfulness, bravery, honesty, love for the da'wah and its preservation, hatred of that which opposed the Sunnah, he despised liars and loved the people of Sunnah. He never spoke in front of people except that you sensed that he must have thought for many hours before hand. He was wise and trustworthy, never deceptive. There was no hypocrisy in his behaviour, he meant what he said and from what I knew of him, he acted in accordance to his knowledge. He loved his wife and family and those under his care from the children of his wife. Whenever a person was in his presence, he would make you feel comfortable to the extent that one would feel as if he was from his closest companions. He was never afraid to speak the truth and clarify the Salafi manhaj. He was my friend, my brother, my advisor and by Allaah, I will miss him and his company. And we do not glorify anyone beyond or more than Allaah. I pray to my Lord, Allaah, the Most Merciful, Oft-Forgiving that He showers His Mercy upon my brother Abu Awais Abullaah Ahmad 'Alee and that He eases the pain and the grief of his family and children. Allaahumma Aameen. And indeed all praise is due to Allaah, Lord of all creation. And may the peace and blessings of Allaah be upon the Messenger Muhammad, his family and his Companions. 24. ~~Bithnillah, this poem increases your imam~~ " The bullets hit your hearts like the stings of a bee You fall on your face as all you can see, Are the Gardens so wide when you're put in the ground You've been searching for years and now you have found, The Ultimate Prize, so sacred, so sweet Your bargain with your Lord is finally complete, Because you are all martyrs without fear or grief Who gave all you had for your precious belief, You promised Him your souls and He promised you much more Now you can enjoy what He's kept in store, An endless reward for those who stood by The covenant they made that towards death they would fly, While graves burn the sinners and squeeze them so tight You're shown your places in the Garden, so spacious and bright, On the Day when Great Terror shall steal all their words Your souls will rest in the hearts of green birds, Under the Great Throne with beauty beyond measure At you ar-Rahmaan laughs, expressing His Pleasure, Sufficient is this as a heavenly prize But prepared for you is that never before seen by the eyes, On your head is placed a crown, one jewel of which is worth More than all of the jewels contained in this Earth, You are brought to a gathering with companions so beautiful The Prophets, the righteous and those who were truthful, Al-Firdaws, where those of the Right Hand shall meet Where the soil is white musk, so smooth and so sweet, You scoop up a handful and throw it in the air You are relaxed by the rivers flowing everywhere, Water, milk and honey gushing forth non-stop So thick and delicious you want to devour each drop, You drink so much you almost end up falling Into the flowing current, then you hear voices calling, You turn and behold! The voices are singing Coming from Maidens so fair and enchanting, These are the Hoorees with round and firm chests Pure untouched virgins, they're better than the best, Seventy-two in all, with large eyes of dark hue Each one created especially for you, They call out your name asking where you are But to their disappointment, from the battles you are far, Your heart is intoxicated by the pleasures of this life Fear (of death) has wounded your manhood like a sharp knife, A knife sharpened by the callers to Hell's every door Who pulled the sword from your hand and threw it to the floor, And given you women, children and money instead Convincing you 'this is better than ending up dead,' Lo,the Martyrs are alive, rejoicing and provided for! When asked what they desire, they will answer no more! So be from the cream of this heavenly crop! Shake off your fear and let your doubts drop! Pick up the sword and grab your horse's reins tight! Throw off your armor and jump into the fight! Make your path be none other than Islaam's high peak Whose mountain is climbled by making death what you seek! "
