  1. Red-I don't usually share Xiin's optimism, I do however feel he means well. I know that's departure from my usual stance, but take bird-eye view of things in Somalia, and the world in general, and you will realize everything we do as Somalis regardless of your political affiliation is self-defeating. We need radical change in our thinking. Obviously everything we did so far isn't working.

  2. ^Come to Boston, and maybe you will be our next governer. Of course, you gotta lose your red cimaamad, and like our current governer take part in the annual gay parade-fabulous people by the way :D .

Lazy...I didn't think they gonna make past the Pistons or Cavaliers. King James deserved a win considering how hard he played on seventh game. But I'm glad Pierce won.For ten yrs, he play his heart out. Didn't care for KG that much.

  3. Why all da hostility towards Kobe. He might be bit arrogant but he is really good. Boston won with some tenacity and alot of luck.

Where's Lazy anyway. I recall her predicting Beantown not coming to the final despite their good start.

    Playmaker...Moss will win this year.

  4. ^LooooooooooL

Towards the end of the program, the presenters allowed viewers to call in with questions and comments. It was one of the veiwers that said "reer Muqdisho waa cadow" as if people under constant Ethoipian bombardment have time to worry about Waqooyi. Must be noted some did repudiate her comments. And another interesting woman said , maybe we should sit with other Somalis in order for us to gain independence.

And one more thing about Siilaanyo despite faankiisa, the man realises dhibka heysta umadoohdan.

  5. "Reer Mogadisho waa cadow" kulahaa.freaking moron....what world does she live in

And about Siilaanyo, reasonable man but dam waa faan badan yahay..apparently all credits goes to him, the organization he led, and the people he represented. He even outsmarted the Mingiste and Barre.Made something clear..I guess this is where some fellas get their cues from..Dare I saY Oodweyne and his entourage. Talk about self-aggrandizing!

  6. Roadside bomb kills four AU peacekeepers in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU (Xinhua) -- Four African Union peacekeepers were killed and unknown number of civilians were wounded Friday after an AU military truck was attacked by a roadside bomb in the Somali capital, Mogadishu, witnesses said.

"I saw four dead soldiers being pulled out of the much damaged truck," Isse Harun, a kiosk owner near the scene of the blast told Xinhua. "A number of passers-by were also wounded in the explosion."

The truck was moving along the K4 road near the airport in south Mogadishu were AU peacekeepers are based, when the bomb went off, witnesses said.

Spokesman for the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) declined to comment on the casualties but confirmed that a blast occurred targeting the peacekeepers, saying he will brief the media on the "incident" soon.

Nearly 2,600 African Union peacekeepers are currently deployed in Mogadishu. The troops, from Uganda and Burundi, are part of a planned UN authorized 8,000-strong African Union peacekeepers. Other African countries that pledged to contribute did not send their contingents due to logistical and security concerns.

No group has claimed responsibility for the latest attack but Islamist insurgents have vowed to attack any foreign troops in Somalia who they accused of assisting Ethiopian troops and Somali government forces.

A number of Ugandan peacekeepers were killed in similar attacks blamed on Islamists last year.

Meanwhile, Islamist fighters clashed with Somali government forces and Ethiopian troops as they tried to arry out searches for weapons and suspected fighters near the main Bakara market in the south of the capital.

A number of shells landed on empty houses inside the market which Somali government officials say is an insurgent hideout.

Residents around the market say that the shells were fired in retaliation by Ethiopian troops in the Presidential Palace in Mogadishu after shells fired by insurgents landed inside the Palace, a claim rejected by the presidential spokesman.
