Where Mogadisho could be possibly re-unified under the banner of Islam, there is the bigger issue of unifying the nation under one entity . Whether that's possible, I'm not sure. One thing is certain, there is serious divisions within the Somali nation as shown by the indifference of other Somali regions towards Mogadisho.

I think the bigger question here is would the Somalis find the workable solutions that will ensure fair treatment of our citizens,solution that would also guarantee the unity of the country.
