  1. Let me add in saying that I hope they do not associate with Al-Shabaab out of the frustrations borne from the ordeal they have been.
  2. Good news for both men and their families. Most Somalis that resided Pakistan would know Mohammed Suleiman and have known him to be a respectable man.
  3. How much more twisted can things get? If the above is true, it only yet represents a new set of problems for an already limping gov. We all see it as weak affair, but some might have begun to see it as an admin that assassinates its own to reach its objective of demonizing the opposing armed group. Yet worse, this comes at a time when the police and the army chiefs were relieved of their posts. A bit of speculation on my part, God knows best.
  4. Politiking and word-play aside, the man acted responsibly, as a leader should act at times of dire situation, and offered his heartfelt to those that were directly under fire and to all Somalis.
  5. Innaa Lillaahi Wa Ina Ilayhi Raajicuun. My prayer and thoughts are with their families and all that are affected by this horrendous attack. I'll reserve rest of my comments as soon as the dust clears and Al-Shabaab speaks on this act.
  6. What ? Folks are kidnapped in the south for the sake of maybe someday their captors would dismemeber their bodies. I wouldn't make this thing an issue of south, north or Puntland- as I gather from your inference. Folks(in PL) that were rounded up were aggressed by men of authority. Situation that needs to be rectified, shall be rectified. In Xamar cadeey, kidnapping is a profession.
