  1. Mystic, don't debate with clan ********. Tell them to beat it. [ January 07, 2007, 03:09 AM: Message edited by: Miskiin-Macruuf-Aqiyaar ]
  2. If you want to create a division in the ranks of those who oppose the puppet government, then you have failed.
  3. Haddana ma soomaliland baad u soo noqotay? You will never see someone giving his/her location as "somaliland" and condoning the actions of a puppet regime. In fact, most of the support for somaliweyn on this website is from people who claim to be from somaliland. On the other hand a shrewed contriver on this website is bound to read that the most vocal supporters (and the so called neutrals) of the TFG have Puntland as location.
  4. LOL "Somalilander"! And the search for the source of my opinion goes on! Our friend Duke is eager to find a relationship between tribal affiliations and opinions. Unarmed clans were finally given their rights by the IUC. They could do what ever they wanted in Muqdisho for a long time. and now that is gone. Marauding gangs reign in Muqdisho.
  5. This dude should be appointed as an ambassador or something! You and your likes are shaming the people of puntland! You do this for the sake of a warlord (abdullahi Yusuf). What a shame!
  6. _______________________________________________ I have always supported the people, for example my quest to get the plight of the lower Shabbele on here, and the unarmed clans. I will continue to support them. _______________________________________________ I have never seen you express support for the people. You are driven by tribal loyality. Do you ever reflect upon who visits this website Mr. Duke?. Don't insult our intelligence. But I must say you are better than the wardrobe tribalists, so called neutralists. You have never hidden your apppreciation for the sake of your clan. The majority of somalis resist the occupation for two main reasons; 1) We have a nation (Ethiopia) that has invaded our country. This kind of resistance is legitimate in the eyes of the world community. 2) The TFG is a puppet regime whose members are warlords (they should never run a country). They belong in the Hague or Arusha.
  7. Maskiin Macaruuf akhyaar LOOOOOOOOOOOOL I don't know about the others but I have read somewhere that Kooshin was a college drop out- a young man of 28 years old- and he claimed that he is related to the president. Wasn't Jamaal that guy who was indicated on charges of lying? he sought political asylum in canada and the us. He is surely persona non grata in the US.
  8. Well, I am not a soothsayer but my predications are that once Abdullahi Yusuf leaves the political scene his supporters on SOL would switch sides and side with the opposition. Somalithinker, with all due respect never use good concepts such as "federalism" "political systems" and "parties" in the somali context.
  9. Welcome back Muuse Suudi Yalaxow, you have been missed by your friends. I am sorry Wasiirka Ganacsiga Al Xaaji Muuse Suudi Yalaxow (that is your real title). P.S did you see Amin Amir's cartoon depicting Qanyare and Maxamed Dheere?
  10. Waryaahe, Duke, malaguu magacaabin miyaa safirka dawladda ee UK? Waxaad u qabatay oo dhan ma sac bacaad lagu lisaa?
  11. ^^^^ You may claim that there are a few in the IUC leadership who fit in the description of warlords.. but compared to the above people, they are saints. Sxb. You are making a mockery of the word process by stating "The process for the TFG was out in the open ". What you call a "process" ended up in giving us 70+ cabinet that consisted of who is who in regards to warlordism.
  12. The Point,"Nor is it quite fair to ask ppl to embrace a group that is unproven and has so many shady folks in it" Subxaanalah. they have a track record! Hussein Aydid attacked innocent civilians in Xamar. Went to Bay and Bakool to murder people. Abdullahi Yusuf is responsible for the disintegration of somalia. Maxamed Dheere, Muuse suudi, Caato, Hiirrale ,Qanyare have killed more somalis than anything other person. These thugs make Aweys looks like an angel.
  13. Blv you me there is no peace in Muqdisho. I have a friend who recently lost his father in the north of Muqdisho. He was an innocent old man drinking his afternoon tea when rival subclans started fighting. Muqdisho is back to the nineties; roadblocks and marauding gangs are back; property confistication is back (some people who got their houses have again lost it; death is an everyday thing.and much more
  14. Maxkamadihii waa loo darsaday. Dadka keliya oo aan u darsanin waa kuwa rajada ka qabo in loo magacaabo Maareye, Agaasime, Safir (kuwa dibada ku nool) iyo kuwo aay qabyaalada guud ka adkaatey. Dadka masaakiinta ah maxkamadaha nabad kama maqneeyd ayaay u keenen.
  15. Baashi, I think you should add the resignation of Abdullahi Yusuf, Geedi, Caydid and the rest of the warlord government to the list of conditions! That is something that might even gain support from the supporters of the TFG. Ngonge: Abdullahi Yusuf resigning? If he resigns or kicks the basket, you will find his relatives on SOL supporting the insurgency. You will read their statements claiming that the other members of the TFG are terrorists (which they are)! while a new bunch of supporters would emerge praising the new "president".
  16. Hornoow, Sxb, haddana ma waxaad leedahay Geedi ayaan xigaa? Aduunyow xaalka ba! Walee waa yaab. Ummaddeenu ma sidaan ayaa u dambeeysay? Geedi iyo aniga geelaanaba isku geed ma daaqaan!
  17. This kid must be one of the funniest characters on SOL. One day he calls the soldiers Somali government troops, the next day he he calls them Ethiopian troops. War af gaalo ama af islaan mid un meesha la imaaw
  18. Waryaahe Horn, I find your views to be very dynamic, You remind me of the chameleon which according to legend changes colour. When this slave (Ali Mohamed Geedi) consolidates his power through the jaahiliya of tribalism and in the process succeeds in convincing the injirleeys (the masters) the insignifance of Af biijo, would the supporters of the latter cry foul? As a vet Ali Geedi is needed to cure animals not to lead a country! I know one of his classmates and he reports that Ali Mohamed Geedi was a good vet. We have at least to give that credit.
  19. The following was first released on Radio muqdisho in october 1963 by Careeys Ciise Kaarshe (I have done my own intepration on some of the lyrics). I came across this when I found an article on somali liberation songs on the NFD by Colin Legum in the journal of modern african studies, Vol 1, No 4. (dec 1963) As I said.... One dies for a cause, Otherwise I say, Does the laver (those who wash dead bodies) aks questions when faced with the dead? Can one pray without cleansing onself first? How can an amputed man sleep comfortably at night? My friend this is how it is with them The injirleeys are back (my addition) The lackeys are back (my addition) The warlords are back (my addition) The roadblocks are back, The tribalists are back (my addition) The forces of darkness are back, beating the drums of satan (my addition) The Injirleey nation posses weapons, they have manufactured rockets, They match at night to search for us, But the somalis They just sleep and wear watches, and if they have money in their pockets, They buy qaad (my addition) If they think they think for the tribe If they can write they write for their tribes If they surf they do it for the sheydhaan This is not freedom, You must be sweat for it, For Allah to compensate you, Oh Allah, the helper It is our duty to kneel before you, Nu human being is entitled to this privelege You always upheld justice, Please give us peace, Help us rid ourselves of the plague of tribalism, Please help us rid ourselves of the cholera of warlordism, Please help us beat the injirleeys, The IUC brought us hope, The IUC was your creation, But I mean, A child does not walk the first day it is born But after suffering difficulties, You (Allah) makes it easier for it (the child) We are in a similar position, We have been oppressed for long You gave food to your slave who starved Then he became a master Some of my people say we have a president, Others say we have a parliament Some of them say we have a primeminster, Oh Allah help my people to cleanse their tongues Otherwise I say, The day when Ali wielded his sword To cut off the heads of the infidels Echoes in my mind and our (turn is drawing) near.
  20. Waryaahe, waad ka sii dareeysaa maalin waliba. HOL (Hiiranonline) ma aaysan qorin warkaas (check the website http://www.hiiraan.com/) ee xageed ka keentay????? Mise warkas intuusan gaarin HOL ayaad heshay???? xageed ka soo xigatay? Yaa kuu sheegay? Subxaanalaahi, walee waxaad noqotay ruux afminshaar ah. I wonder why SOL moderators allow this kind of BS:
  21. The cyber supporters of the defunct TFG would claim that it is the recognised somali government,TFG, that bombed the airport. Let us wait and see how they will spin the story.
  22. Castro, those words of shame must have been written by someone who probably lost loved ones at the hands of caato, Caydid, Qanyare, Qaybdid- and mocked by Maxamed dheere! Maskin, I could not also sleep last night. There is every risk that we are on the verge of the tribal wars witnessed in the nineties. May Allah help us. I was disheartened that any sane somali would call the death of innocent women and children in hiiran by Ethiopian air force the work of the TFG.
  23. Ngonge, this will probably be my last contribution on somaliaonline for a while ( I am going to jot a few lines on the thread by Maskin and spare my thoughts for the future). My friend, I can't understand why you downplay the significance of bringing stability to Muqdisho. Cleaning the streets of carbage indeed could be an adminstrative excercise.. but cleaning the streets of warlords is a monemental achievement. Muqdisho was the eldorado of warlords. I am not from Somaliland, Puntland or the south for that matter. I tend to take an independent pansomali perspective on issues. I mourn for every somali on this earth. We could keep on arguing the best strategy forward for somalia, the IUC and somaliland for that matter. But that is history. There is nothing that can be done. Ethiopia has become a party to the conflict. They have bombed towns (read towns)and that is reason enough to condemn. We could debate for years what was the best strategy to adopt or whether or not the IUC is good for somalia. Things could have been complicated a few days ago. But now it is apparent that this is a war between the IUC (somalis) and Ethiopia (the TFG folk are not worth the name somalis). That is my opinion. You raise an important issue; the relationship between the TFG and Puntland. My guess is that the people of Puntland are on the side of the IUC (with the exception of some die hard tribalists and the so called puntland government who have opted to support a dying "president" based on nothing more than tribal affiliation. I share your concern that what we are witnessing could lead to some revival of tribalism. And that is unfortunate. It is what Abdullahi Yusuf wants. It is what the tribalists amidst us on SOL wants. I think and hope that that could be avoided.
  24. Peacenow, Wrong my friend. The TFG does not have warplanes. What happened in beledweyne and Matabaan was an act of Ethiopians. I think even those who love the TFG for one reason or the other (mainly tribalism) would have to reconsider their sphere of love. I have never been sickened this much. What we are seeing is a blant move by Ethiopians on the lives of innocent people. The diaspora somalis are those you see on websites such as this- and it hurts to see them backing ethiopian aggression.
  25. I want to hear the opinions of those who thus far have sided with the TFG and amxaaros. Is this a victory? How do they see the slaughter of innocent civilians in the town centre in Beledweyne????
