  1. [13]: We do not deem it correct to revolt against the Muslim rulers as long as they are Muslims, nor do we feel that revolutions bring about reconciliation. Rather, they corrupt the community. As for the rulers of Aden, then we feel that fighting them is obligatory, until they repent from heresy, Socialism and calling people to the worship of Lenin and Marx and other than these two from those who professed disbelief. LA JIIFIYAANA BANAAN, LA JOOJIYAANA BANAAN
  2. Remember, I really didn't want to answer her, because almost everybody knows Sheikh QARDAWI and his POSITION on HOSTILE KUFFARS, but you (Bilan) encouraged me to do so.
  3. where Allah says that he doesn't forbid muslims to be kind and just to non-muslims who did not fight with them.so as i said he had his evidence. you do not agree with him fine, but be fair and cut and paste the whole thing not just few lines. Exactly Sis, you picked from my Mouth as they say. and this HALF STATEMENT is one of the bad tricks of this group (MUTASALIFAH), they always use what the schollars called: "So woe to the praying ones" without saying "Who are unmindful of their prayers". In this case Ukhti Muslimah has Shown us what the Sheikh QARADAWI say about the NON-HOSTILE kufars without showing us what he said the HOSTILE ones particullarly ISRAELS in PALESTINE and AMERICAN in IRAQ etc. If she has shown us we will get the two side of the coin, butr as i said this policy is one of thgeir most favoured policies because they misguided many short minded MUSLIMS and recruited some of blind and sick hearted people. Wheather she denies or not she does most of what Sheikh Qaradawi said in his fatwas (Regarding NON-HOSTILE kufars) because i suppose she lives one of the Non-Muslim countries. Therefore this group are one of those WHO SAYING WHAT ARE THEY NOT DOING, but Sheikh QARADAWI is teaching us how we should we differe between HOSTILE and NON-HOSTILE kuffars and that's exactly what the QURAN learns us b4 1425 years ago. I think that this non muslim guy is more reliable than UKHTI MUSLIMAH and her group, where she copied from her article. Furthermore, she knows (if she lives in London)how Ken Livingstone (Mayor of London) suffered because his welcome to London Ken Livingstone’s Fateful Error Simon A. Waldman- Wednesday 16th Feb 2005 Ken Livingstone’s refusal to acknowledge that he was wrong to welcome the extremist Muslim cleric Dr Yusuf al-Qaradawi in July 2004 is a demonstration of his disregard to the concerns some of London’s diverse communities. Livingstone was presented with a 214-page dossier compiled by the LCC, a group comprised of 13 groups such as the Board of Deputies for British Jews, the Hindu Forum of Britain and the gay rights group Outrage! Outlined was evidence to support their opposition to Livingstone’s red carpet treatment to the suicide bombing advocator, women’s rights suppressor, anti-gay adherent of the militant Wuhhabi interpretation of Islam advocated by al-Qaradawi, a “moderate†in Livingstone’s eyes. The LCC gave evidence in their dossier of some of al-Qaradawi’s venomous remarks and positions. He refused to condemn the beheading of Nicholas Berg by militants in Iraq, described homosexuality as an “abdominal practice†and “a disease†whose offenders should be put to death to “maintain the purity of Islamic societyâ€. The cleric used his authority in Islamic theology to give his seal of approval for suicide bombers in Israel who target Israeli civilians, and gave his support to the actions of the terrorist group Hamas. He condoned practices of female circumcision and okayed domestic abuse but “in no case should he resort to using a stick… that might cause pain or injuryâ€. More recently, Livingstone’s favorite cleric commented, as reported in The Times and the BBC on 11 January, that the victims of the Asian tsunami deserved to die. In response the mayor compiled his own dossier that went to great lengths to portray al-Qaradawi as a moderate excusing comments advocating the oppression of women, homophobia and his support for suicide bombings in Israel, dismissing the fact that al- Qaradawi’s suspected ties with terrorist groups led to the cleric’s entry to the United States to be denied. The dossier failed to acknowledge that al-Qaradawi preaches extremism usually when addressing an Arab audience, but moderates his venom when speaking to the west. But the icing on the cake, the big fat cherry on top was Livingstone’s fantastical claims that the LCC had been duped by a “Zionist front organizationâ€. He was referring to the Arabic translation service MEMRI, which was cited in the dossier. In the section entitled “A ‘case’ built on inaccurate ‘evidence’†Livingstone argues that the translation service of MEMRI was particularly relied on. Not true. Only 14 of the 95 citations of the LCC’s dossier were from MEMRI. Livingstone’s attack on the MEMRI organization stands on shaky grounds. He cites critiques by bipartisan observers whose works appear on websites that identify staunchly with Palestinian and radical left stances. Used was an Email debate that featured on the Guardian Unlimited website between MEMRI’s co-founder Yigal Carmon and Brian Whitaker, the Guardian’s Middle East editor. Livingstone should take note that Yigal Carmon chastised Whitaker for only finding a fault in one of MEMRI’s thousands of translations plus an omission of the location of an author in another translation. Big deal, the occasional misinterpretation or omission of words can happen in the work of a translator. It was noted that Carmon regularly appears on the Arabic news network Al-Jazeera and that MEMRI has been praised by many journalists and academics for offering a reliable, in depth translation and analysis of the media in the Middle East. No doubt this must strike fear into the hearts of Islamic fundamentalists and their apologists and, of course, Red Ken himself. Livingstone argued, possibly out of ignorance or more probably out of desperation to save his image, that the critics of his meeting with al-Qaradawi were advocators of an “Islamic Conspiracy†theory and were “caught up by a Zionist front organizationâ€. This could not be a more apt example of what has been called of late the ‘new anti-Semitism’ or ‘Judeophopbia’, the belief that there is a sinister plot coming from those who sympathize or identify with the Jewish state of Israel and that Jews, using their power, using their state, conspire against Islam. It is ironic that the mayor’s attempt to defend a radical Islamic preacher is filled with Judeophobic rhetoric, that a “Zionist front organization†has duped the LCC and fooled some of the world’s leading journalists and commentators into thinking that Dr Yusuf al-Qaradawi is not a moderate.
  4. Plus this from: Shaikh Ibnul-Ghunayman Shaikh Ibnul-Ghunayman on the Madkhali Salafis by Shaikh Ibnul-Ghunayman Source: Lecture "Desires and Its Effect in Causing Differences" I say that from the effects of the deeds of these individuals is that it has confused the thoughts of many of the youth. As a result some youth have gone astray from the path of guidance and has begun to follow what those who criticise others (who have stood in the path of da'wah and have blocked the path of Allah) draw up for him. As a result some of those who criticise have caused a great gap between the youth and the scholars and caused them great misgivings which has led the youth to stay away from the scholars. Some of these youth have begun to categorise the people due to what they hear from these people that so and so is from the Ikhwan because he talks to or visits or sits with a person from the Ikhwan or that so and so is from the Surooris or from the sycophants and such. The amazing thing is that they imagine that in that they are applying the manhaj of al-jarh wat-ta'deel. In reality, they have adopted in this [activity] ignorant leaders, who have gone astray and led others astray. It is upon a Muslim to fear Allah regarding himself and regarding to those poor souls who are no more than a fourth or a tenth of the learned
  5. Rahima and anyone else who think that this group are on the SALAF path must read this artcle and compare to what Salafi-Da'awa was copying and pasting during his membership of SOL and what the sheikh said about them. If you couldn't find the full agrement of what Sheikh said about this group and Salafi Da'wa's articles then this group are really following SALF SALAIh's path and we're wrong. Summary of the Deviations of the Madaakhilah by Aboo Hafs Ash-Shaamee Source: ClearGuidance.com The Madaakhilah are the name of a sect which ascribes itself to Salafeeyah. They are named after Rabee' bin Haadee al-Madkhalee (from the Madkhalee tribe). Just like the Ashaa'irah are named after Abul-Hasan al-Ash'aree (from the Ash'aree tribe). They have been named other things too Jaameeyah: named after Muhammad Amaan al-Jaamee, a scholar from Africa, who started some of the criticisms of scholars, students, and callers early on. I personally don't like this name, because Muhammad Amaan al-Jaamee is not as well known as Rabee', nor does he hold as high a place amongst the sect, nor was he as extreme as Rabee'. Salafeeyah Jadeedah: Neo-Salafeeyah. Jamaa'at at-Tabdee' wal-Hijrah: The group of declaring others innovators and boycotting. Ad'iyaa' as-Salafeeyah: Salafee claimants. Khuloof: Which means those who came after (the Salaf), in reference to the Hadeeth in Saheeh Muslim, "Then there will come Khuloof, who will say what they do not do, and do what they were not ordered, so whoever does Jihaad against them with his hand, then he is a believer...etc." Salafeeyoo Ahl al-Walaa': Those with alliance/friendship [to the government] Salafees. This term was coined up by a group of Madaakhilah in a research paper that they wrote for the interior minister of Saudi Arabia, to help him against "the callers to revolution." The label has also been used against them by some of the scholars. Murji'at al-'Asr: The Murji'ah of the era, due to the fact that Irjaa' runs rampand amongst their followers, although it is not their most unique trait. I prefer to call them Madaakhilah, because the person who spread their corrupt call east and west was Rabee', May Allaah Give him what he deserves. He is also the most famous of their scholars. As for their most unique trait (not their worst), I personally believe that to be their exaggerated and extreme understandings of Jarh and Tabdee '. Jarh is the science of disparaging narrators due to deficiency in their trustworthiness. This was practiced by the scholars so as to know from who Hadeeth can be accepted from, and from who should it be rejected. They also used it in the later generations in the sense from who can knowledge be taken from. Tabdee' is to declare someone an innovator. This extremity is most clear in their wrong application of the principle "whoever does not declare the innovator to be an innovator then he is an innovator." So they misapply this principle as the Takfeeree groups misapply the correct principle "whoever does not declare the Kaafir to be a Kaafir then he is a Kaafir." The starting point for the average and typical Madkhalee (layman or scholar) is Sayyid Qutb. Whoever does not declare him to be an innovator, then he is an innovator. Whoever does not declare the one who abstained from Tabdee' of Sayyid, to be an innovator, then he also is an innovator, and onwards, until noone is left on the earth except the few members of their sect. Due to their extremism, they followed the habits of Ahl al-Bida' before them, so they further divided into subsects. Those who sided with Rabee' on some issues, and those who sided with an Egyptian by the name of Abul-Hasan al-Ma'ribee. The division started over Abul-Hasan's abstaining from declaring certain individuals innovators (in addition to other things), and those who abstained from declaring Abul-Hasan an innovator was grouped with him. This includes the Jordanian Madaakhilah who claim to be students of Shaykh al-Albaanee (which has been declared a false claim, by some of those who were close to the Shaykh, such as Aboo Maalik Muhammad Ibraaheem Shaqrah, an ex-Madkhalee). The innovations and deviance of the Madaakhilah include: Believing that legislating manmade laws, complete abstinence from ruling by the Sharee'ah, or resisting to rule by the Sharee'ah, seeking judgement from Taaghoot, are all just minor Kufr, that do not exit the doer from the religion of Islaam, except with Istihlaal. Istihlaal is to believe his sin to be permissible. So they make the sins of major Kufr and major Shirk equal to lesser sins like adultery, drinking alcohol, etc., by placing the condition of Istihlaal on the major Kufr, which only exists as a condition for minor Kufr. Believing that actions of the limbs are not a pillar nor condition for the existence of Eemaan for one to be ruled a Muslim. So for them one can never pray, give Zakaah, fast Ramadaah, or do Hajj, never do Wudoo', never get Tahaarah, etc., and he would still be a Muslim, who's Islaam can save him from Hellfire eventually. They would label him a sinner, as for a Kaafir, then no. So they have followed the Murji'ah of the past. Exaggerating the concept of excuse due to ignorance with regards to the rules of this life. So for them they excuse the one who calls himself a Muslim (i.e., they judge him a Muslim), in all situations, in all issues. So for them, there is no difference between the basis of Islaam, the matters that are known from the religion by necessity, or those issues that are less apparent or obvious. There is no difference between one who was raised amongst the Muslims, or the one who was not. There is no difference between the new Muslim, and others. All of them are always Muslims, even if they fall into many types of obvious Kufr and Shirk, because of the "possibility" of ignorance. This confusion amonst them also applies to the issue of Ta'weel (misinterpretation) by which (for example) they excuse many of the rulers who have pronounced their Istihlaal of their legislating manmade laws. Believing that major Walaa' (alliance/friendship) with the Kuffaar is not major Kufr, unless the person internalizes a Kufr intention, such as wishing to aid the religion of Kufr, or to destroy Allaah's Religion, etc. So if one were to lead the crusade against Islaam, head it, support it by wealth and blood, he would still be a Muslim, until he pronounces the internalized intentions of Kufr. So they do not make the act itself Kufr, until this innovated condition is proven. Believing that Jihaad cannot be Fard 'Ayn upon the whole Ummah. Also, related to Jihaad, is believing that Jihaad is not permissible without an Islaamic state whose Imaam directs it. Believing Jihaad to be forbidden without the permission of the Imaam. All of this is regarding defensive Jihaad. Labelling those who do Takfeer of the apostate rulers and their soldiers to be Khawaarij or Takfeerees. They prohibit Khurooj against these apostate rulers, due to the fact that they rule them to be Muslims. If they rule some of them to be Kuffaar, they still prohibit it due to the fact it is not led by an Imaam (head of Muslim state). Belittling the importance of awareness of current affairs and events, saying that such is only for the rulers and scholars, and that the laymen have no need for such. This foolish idea leads many laymen to believe the rulers in their lands to be Muslims, because they are unaware of the Kufr that he practices. So these laymen sometimes end up sacrificing themselves for the apostate ruler by being his sincere servants and slaves. Testing people on their positions regarding certain individuals they have labelled innovators. If the person agrees with them regarding their Tabdee' then he is befriended, if not, he is taken as an enemy and belittled. The individuals they test people by, many times are labelled innovators based upon some of the above misunderstandings. Testing people on their positions regarding certain individuals they have labelled innovators. They ask Fulaan at the Masjid giving a lecture, what do you think of 'Azzaam? He says he is good, then they consider him an innovator, or hold him suspicious. They blindly follow the official government scholars on their stances towards their governments and politics. So if the government scholars say peace with the Jews is fine in Palestine, the Madaakhilah parrot his words. Note: Not all government scholars are Madaakhilah, but the Madaakhilah blindly follow them in politics. Example, Ibn Baaz or Ibn 'Uthaymeen are not Madaakhilah, although they might possibly have some branches of the Madkhalee fundamentals, but the Madaakhilah blindly follow their opinions that are related to politics. Holding a few people to be scholars in what they call "Manhaj." Noone else can be questioned on these "Manhaj" issues. These "Manhaj" doctors include Rabee', 'Ubayd al-Jaabiree, etc. They follow them blindly in issues of Jarh and Tabdee'. The Madaakhilah tend to have a supportive position of the Saudi apostate regime, although they are supportive of most of the apostate regimes in general. But due to the fact that some of them do do Takfeer of some of these regimes (Syria, Libya, etc.), they always are in agreement in praising and supporting the Saudi regime by heart and soul. They are very quick and easy in declaring people to be innovators, even over issues which are not innovation, rather from the best of Islaam! Like Jihaad. As for things that are indeed innovation, if one falls into them, they prohibit reading or praising anything that person wrote. For example, Sayyid Qutb had innovations, but so did many many scholars of the past and present, who Ahl as-Sunnah, as well as the Madaakhilah, both quote, such as Ibn Hazm, an-Nawawee, Ibn Hajr, etc. Yet they absolutely prohibit to treat the books of Sayyid Qutb, or others like him in the same respect. Due to the fact that they hold many of these apostate rulers to be legit Muslims rulers/governments, and those who revolt against them to be rebellious Khawaarij bandits, they permit allying and befriending the apostate governments, even if that ends up in aiding these apostates against a Muslim. This is probably the worst of the Madaakhilah's crimes (for those who hold this position) since it is apostasy, the apostasy of Mudhaaharah (helping the Mushrikeen against the Muslims). In the end, they tend to take positions that are favorable for Islaam's enemies, harsh against the Muslims, mimmicking the Khawaarij in their "killing of Islaam's people, leaving the idol-worshippers."
  6. Equality of Men and Women in all Three Levels of Islam The Wisdom Behind the Islamic Laws Regarding Women Shaykh `Abdul Rahman `Abdul Khaliq Translated by Ali Al-Timimi © IANA My brothers and sisters everywhere! Islamic law - that Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) sent down to His Messenger Muhammad - came to announce that women (exactly like men) are full human beings. Women (like men) are therefore required to follow the way appointed by Allah. A woman (like a man) is therefore obligated with all three degrees of this religion: Islam (outward submission to Allah), Iman (inward faith in Allah), and Ihsan (perfection of worship of Allah). It is thus required for every woman to testify that there is none deserving worship but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Messenger; to pray; to give charity; to fast; and to make a pilgrimage to Allah's House if she has the means. It is likewise required for every woman to believe in Allah, His angels, His scriptures, His messengers, the Last Day, and to believe in Allah's decree (and that the good and evil consequences thereof are from Allah). These are the fundamentals of Islam and Iman. It is likewise required for every woman to worship Allah as if she sees Him. For although she cannot see Allah, she must believe that He sees whatever she does in secret and in public. Women (exactly like men) have been commanded with these three levels of the religion (Islam, Iman, Ihsan). Women are also obligated to enjoin good and forbid evil; to wage jihad by saying that which is truthful; and to adhere to all noble behavior, like: truthfulness, trustworthiness, courage, modesty, and self-respect. Every Muslim woman is commanded to be steadfast in her religion and not to be negligent with her faith. It is impermissible for her - under any pressure or compulsion - to open her heart to accept the word of disbelief. Hence every Muslim woman falls under Allah's statement: "Whose disbelieves in Allah, after he has believed - excepting him who has been compelled, and his heart is still at rest with the Faith - but whosoever's breast is expanded in unbelief, upon them shall rest anger from Allah, and there awaits them a mighty chastisement." (Qur'an 16:106) Clearly when Islam charged women with all these duties and in all these obligations made her equal to men, the intent was to honor her and permit her to reach the highest degree of perfection of her being. The duties that Allah has obligated humanity with are but a means to honor us. Prayer, as well as fasting, is an honor for the servant and a means to raise his rank. To adhere to Allah's straight path and the manners of Islam are, without doubt, a means to honor us and not to humiliate us as imagined by those who are ignorant of Allah and follow their desires. Such people think and imagine that a human being who does not believe in Allah, does not uphold the trust of these duties, and does not perform what Allah has commanded him is of a higher standing than the believer who adheres to the obligations of Islam. Such an idea is ignorance and renders human beings on par with the animals. Humans have been created to be tried by Allah and have been charged with fulfilling these duties to Allah (Glorified and Exalted be He) and His creatures. As for animals, while they have been created by Allah, they have not been charged with this trust. Whoever considers that a human being who does not uphold what Allah has obligated as equal to those who fulfill what Allah has obligated is like those who consider humans and animals to be equal. For this reason, Allah has said: "Shall we treat that those who have surrendered (as Muslims) as We treat the guilty?" (Qur'an 68:35) And He has said: "We have crated for Hell many of the jinn and humanity; they have hearts, but understand not with them; they have eyes, but perceive not with them; and they have ears, but they hear not with them. These are like cattle; nay, rather they are further astray! Those - they are the heedless." (Qur'an 7:126) The disbeliever in Allah is a guilty criminal, for he does not know whom He is to worship, i.e., his Creator, his Protector, his Lord, and He Who created this universe in which he lives. The disbeliever enjoys what Allah has blessed him with and yet forgets the One Who blessed and preferred him with such blessings. As for the believer, he is the honorable servant who knows His Lord and Creator, Allah, Whom he worships. He fulfills what Allah has obligated and travels upon the path that Allah has delineated for him. Source: http://www.islaam.com/challenges/equality_in_3_levels.htm
  7. Sakina i also refuse to follow Qardawi and his hanchmans! But i love Bin Baaz May Allah perserve him! You say i love one sheikh and you mock to another sheikh ! No wonder because you're graduated from the MUTASALIFAH SCHOOL.
  8. This IMAM is one of the greatest IMAMS in ISLAM, he is the author of RIYAADUL SALIHIN, EXPALANATIONS OF SAHIH MUSLIM and ARBACIIN NAWAWI (FORTY HADITHS), and many other works. "The learned Imam had a very short life (28 years) but even during this short period, he had written a large number of books on different subjects. Every work of the Imam is a masterwork and a treasure of knowledge. Hundreds and thousands of people benefit from these works". He asked in many of his books that anyone benefit fro it should ask ALLAH'S MERCY to him and his parents, so WE'RE ASKING ALLAH TO BLESS OUR IMAM NAWAI AND HIS PARENTS AND HIS TEACHERS AND ALL MUSLIMS. AAMIIN Birth and Birth place: The complete name of Imam Nawawi is Abu Zakaria Mohiuddin Yahya, son of Sharaf AnÄNawawi, son of Murry, son of Hassan, son of Hussain, son of Muhammad, son of Juma, son of Hazam. Nawawi refers to Nawa, a place near Damascus, in the suburb of the city of Howran. One of his ancestors named Hazam had settled at this place. Imam Nawawi was born at Nawa in the year 631 A.H. His father, a virtuous and pious man, resolved to arrange for proper and befitting education as he had discovered the symptoms of heavenly intelligence and wisdom in his promising child at an early stage. Shaikh Yasin bin Yousuf Marakashi, a saintly figure of Nawa says: "I saw Imam Nawawi at Nawa when he was a youth of ten years of age. Other boys of his age used to force him to play with them, but Imam Nawawi would always avoid the play and would remain busy with the recitation of the Noble Qur'an. When they tried to domineer and insisted on his joining their games, he bewailed and expressed his no concern over their foolish action. On observing his sagacity and profundity, a special love and affection developed in my heart for young Nawawi. I approached his teacher and urged him to take exceptional care of this lad as he was to become a great religious scholar and most pious saint of future. His teacher asked whether I was a soothsayer or an astrologer. I told him I am neither soothsayer nor an astrologer but Allah caused me to utter these words." His teacher conveyed this incident to Imam's father and he keeping in view the learning quest of his son, decided to dedicate the life of his son for the service and promotion of the cause of Islamic Faith. In a short period, Nawawi learnt to read the Holy Qur'an and by that time he nearly had attained puberty. Nawa had no academic or scholarly atmosphere and there were no religious academies or institutes where one could earn excellence in religious learning, so his father took him to Damascus, which was considered the center of learning and scholarship, and the students from far and wide gathered there for schooling. During that period, there were more than three hundred institutes, colleges and universities in Damascus. Imam Nawawi joined Madrasah Rawahiyah which was affiliated with the Ummvi University. The founder and patron of this Madrasah was a trader named Zakiuddin Abul-Qassim who was known as Ibn Rawahah. Madrasah was named after him. Noted and eminent teachers of the period taught in that Madrasah. Imam Nawawi says, "I studied in this institution for two years. During my stay in Madrasah Rawahiyah, I never had complete rest and lived on the limited food supplied by the institution." As a routine he used to sleep very little at night. When it became irresistible as a human being, he would lean and slumber for a while against the support of books. After a short duration he would again be hard at his scholastic pursuits. His Teachers and Guides: During his stay at Damascus, he studied from more than twenty celebrated teachers. These teachers were regarded as masters and authority of their subject field and disciplines they taught. Imam studied Hadith, Islamic Jurisprudence, its principles, syntax and Etymology fromgreat scholars of his time. Abu Ibrahim Ishaq bin Ahmad AI-Maghribi, Abu Muhammad Abdur-Rahman bin Ibrahim Al-Fazari, Radiyuddin Abu Ishaq Ibrahim bin Abu Hafs Umar bin Mudar Al-Mudari, Abu Ishaq Ibrahim bin Isa Al-Muradi, Abul-Baqa Khalid bin Yusuf An-Nablusi, Abul-Abbas Ahmad bin Salim Al-Misri, Abu Abdullah Al-Jiyani, Abul-Fath Umar bin Bandar, Abu Muhammad At-Tanukhi, Sharafuddin Abdul-Aziz bin Muhammad Al-Ansari, Abul-Faraj Abdur-Rahman bin Muhammad bin Ahmad Al-Maqdisi, Abul-Fada'il Sallar bin Al-Hasan Al Arbali etc. There were hundreds of Imam's students, among them some notables are: Alauddin bin Attar, Ibn Abbas Ahmad bin Ibrahim, Abul-Abbas Al-Ja'fari, Abul-Abbas Ahmad bin Farah, Rashid Ismail bin Mu'allim Al-Hanafi, Abu Abdullah Al-Hanbali, AbulAbbas Al-Wasti, Jamaluddin Sulaiman bin Omar Az-Zar'i, AbulFaraj Abdur-Rahman bin Muhammad bin Abdul-Hamid AlMaqdisi, Badr Muhammad bin Ibrahim, Shamsuddin Muhammad bin Abu Bakr, Ash-Shihab Muhammad bin Abdul-Khaliq, Hibatullah Al-Barizi, Abul-Hajjaj Yusuf bin Az-Zaki etc. His Desire and Crave for Learning: Imam Nawawi had endless thirst for knowledge, and it can be guessed from his daily practice of studies. He used to read daily twelve lessons and write explanation and commentary of every lesson and also made important additions. Whatever the book he read, he put down the marginal notes and explanations on that book. His intelligence, hard work, love, devotion and absorption in his-studies amazed his teachers and they become fond of him and began to praise and admire him. According to Imam Dhahabi, Imam Nawawi's concentration and absorption in academic love gained proverbial fame. He had devoted all his time for learning and scholarship. Other than reading and writing, he spent his time contemplating on the interacted and complex issues and in finding their solutions. Allah had also conferred upon him the gift of fast memory and depth of thought, and he who makes the right use of this boon, there remains no doubt in his sagacity and discernment. Imam Nawawi made full benefit of his God given qualities and potentialities and earned the highest degree of honor. Imam's Simplicity and Niceness of Manners: The learned persons, elite of the society and the public greatly respected the Imam on account of his piety, learning and excellent character. He used simple dress and ate simple food. Devout scholars do not care about worldly chattels, they give preference to religious and academic pursuits, propagation of Faith etc. They experience more heavenly delight and joy in such activities than those who seek satisfaction in luxurious foods, precious clothes and other worldly things. Imam Nawawi had a prominent place among the erudite notables of his age. He was God-fearing person having illustrious and glorious aims regarding propagation of Faith. Celebrated Sheikh Mohiuddin expresses his impression about Imam Nawawi as thus: "Imam Nawawi had three distinctive commendable qualities in his person. If anybody have only one out of these three, people return to him in abundance for guidance. First, having knowledge and its dissemination. Second, to evade completely from the worldly inclinations, and the third, inviting to all that is good (Islam) enjoining Al-Ma'ruf [i.e., Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam orders one to do] and forbidding Al-Munkar [polytheism and disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden]. Imam Nawawi had all three in him." His works and his death: The learned Imam had a very short life but even during this short period, he had written a large number of books on different subjects. Every work of the Imam is a masterwork and a treasure of knowledge. Hundreds and thousands of people benefit from these works. Some of the Prestigious Works of Imam Nawawi are: Commentary on Sahih Al-Bukhari, Al-Minhaj fi Sharh Sahih Muslim, Riyad-us-Saliheen, Kitab-ur-Raudah, Commentary on Mohadhdhab, Tahdhib-ul-Asma was-Sifat, Kitab-ul-Adhkar, Arba'een, At-Taqreeb fi Ilmil-Hadith wal-Irshad fihi, Kitab-ulMubhamat, At-Tibyan, Al-Idah fi Manasikil-Hajj, Sharh Sahih AlBukhari (Naqis), Sharh Sunan Abi Dawud (Naqis), Tabaqat Ash Shafi'iyah, Muhimmatul-Ahkam, Manaqib-ush-Shafi'i, Bustan-ulArifeen, Al-Khulasatu fil-Hadith, Mukhtasar At-Tirmidhi, A1Masa'il Al-Manthurah, Al-'Umdah fi Tashihit-Tanbih and others. After spending 28 years of age, Imam Nawawi returned to his hometown. Soon after his arrival at Nawa, he felt ill and died. Imam Nawawi is still living in the hearts of Muslims. His works are of everlasting value. May Allah bless him.
  9. Twelve Proofs that Muhammad is a True Prophet By Shaykh `Abdul Rahman `Abdul Khaliq My brothers and sisters everywhere! With this essay, I am not singling out the adherents of Islam - to which I ascribe - but rather I am writing this essay to every man and woman throughout the whole world. I ask Allah that He facilitates tat this essay reaches every ear, falls under the sight of every eye, and is understood by every heart... Muhammad the son of `Abdullah is Allah's Prophet and the Final Messenger Sent by Allah to the Inhabitants of Earth. My brothers and sisters everywhere! You should know that the Messenger, Muhammad the son of `Abdullah (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) is Allah's Messenger in reality and truth. The evidences that show his veracity are abundant. None but an infidel, who out of arrogance alone, could deny these signs. Among these proofs: 1. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) was raised illiterate, unable to read or write, and remained like that till his death. Among all his people, he was known as being truthful and trustworthy. Before receiving revelation, he had no prior knowledge of Religion or any previously sent Message. He remained like that for his first forty years. Revelation then came to Muhammad with the Koran that we now have between our hands. This Koran mentioned most of the accounts found in the previous scriptures, telling us about these events in the greatest detail as if he witnessed them. These accounts came precisely as they were found in the Torah sent down to Moses and in the Gospel sent down to Jesus. Neither the Jews or Christians were able to belie him regarding anything that he said. 2. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) also foretold of everything that would occur to him and his community after him, pertaining to victory, the removal of the tyrannical kingdoms of Chosroes [the royal title for the Zoroastrian kings of Persia] and Caesar, and the establishment of the religion of Islam throughout the earth. These events occurred exactly as Muhammad foretold, as if he was reading the future from an open book. 3. Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) also brought an Arabic Koran that is the peak of eloquence and clarity. The Koran challenged those eloquent and fluent Arabs of his time, who initially belied him, to bring forth a single chapter like the Koran. The eloquent Arabs of his day were unable to contest this Koran. Indeed, till our day, none has ever dared to claim that he has been able to compose words that equal-or even approach-the order, grace, beauty, and splendor of this Glorious Koran. 4. The life history of this Noble Prophet was a perfect example of being upright, merciful, compassionate, truthful, brave, generous, distant from all evil character, and ascetic in all worldly matters, while striving solely for the reward of the Hereafter. Moreover, in all his actions and dealings, he was ever mindful and fearful of Allah. 5. Allah instilled great love for Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) in the hearts of all who believed in and met him. This love reached such a degree that any of his companions would willingly sacrifice his (or her) self, mother or father for him. Till today, those who believe in Muhammad honor and love him. Anyone of those who believe in him would ransom his own family and wealth to see him, even if but once. 6. All of history has not preserved the biography of any person in the manner it has preserved the life of Muhammad, who is the most influential human in history. Nor has the entire earth known of anyone whom every morning and evening, and many times thereafter throughout the day, is thought of by those who believe in him. Upon remembering Muhammad, the believers in him will greet him and ask Allah to bless him. They do such with full hearts and true love for him. 7. Nor has there every been a man on earth whom is still followed in all his doings by those who believe in him. Those who believe in Muhammad, sleep in the manner he slept; purify themselves (through ablution and ritual washing) in the manner he purified himself; and adhere to his practice in the way they eat, drink, and clothe themselves. Indeed in all aspects of their lives, the believers in Muhammad adhere to the teachings he spread among them and the path that he traveled upon during his life. During every generation, from his day till our time, the believers in this Noble Prophet have fully adhered to his teachings. With some, this has reached the degree that they desire to follow and adhere to the Prophet's way in his personal matters regarding which Allah has not sought of them to adhere to in worship. For example, some will only eat those specific foods or only wear those specific garments that the Messenger liked. Let alone all that, all those who believe in Muhammad repeat those praises of Allah, special prayers, and invocations that he would say during each of his actions during day and night, like: what he would say when he greeted people, upon entering and leaving the house, entering and leaving the mosque, entering and leaving the bathroom, going to sleep and awaking from sleep, observing the new crescent, observing the new fruit on trees, eating, drinking, dressing, riding, traveling and returning from travel, etc. Let alone all that, all those who believe in Muhammad fully perform-even to the minute detail-every act of worship-like prayer, fasting, charity, and pilgrimage-as this Noble Messenger (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) taught and as he himself performed. All of this allows those who believe in him, to live their lives in all aspects with this Noble Messenger as their example, as if he was standing before them, for them to follow in all their doings. 8. There has never been nor will there ever be a man anywhere upon this earth who has received such love, respect, honor, and obedience in all matters-small and large alike-as has this Noble Prophet. 9. Since his day, in every region of the earth and during every period, this Noble Prophet has been followed by individuals from all races, colors and peoples. Many of those who followed him were previously Christians, Jews, pagans, idolaters, or without any religion. Among those who chose to follow him, were those who were known for their sound judgment, wisdom, reflection, and foresight. They chose to follow this Noble Prophet after they witnessed the signs of his truthfulness and the evidences of his miracles. They did not choose to follow Muhammad out of compulsion or coercion or because they had adopted the ways of their fathers and mothers. Indeed many of the followers of this Prophet (may Allah's blessings peace be upon him), chose to follow him during the time when Islam was weak, when there were few Muslims, and when there was severe persecution of his followers on earth. Most people who have followed this Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) have done so not to acquire some material benefits. Indeed many of his followers have suffered the greatest forms of harm and persecution as a result of following this Prophet. Despite all this harm and persecution, this did not turn them back from his religion. My brethren! All of this clearly indicates to anyone possessing any sense, that this Prophet was truly and really Allah's messenger and that he was not just a man who claimed prophethood or spoke about Allah without knowledge. 10. With all this, Muhammad came with a great religion in its credal and legal make-up. Muhammad described Allah with qualities of complete perfection, and at the same time in a manner that is free of ascribing to Him any imperfection. Neither the philosophers or the wise could ever describe Allah like such. Indeed it is impossible to imagine that any human mind could conceive of an existing being that possesses such complete ability, knowledge, and greatness; Who has subdued the creation; Who has encompassed everything in the universe, small or large; and Who possesses such perfect mercy. Nor is it in the ability of any human being to place a perfect law based upon justice, equality, mercy and objectivity for all human activity on earth like the laws that Muhammad brought for all spheres of human activity - like buying and selling, marriage and divorce, renting, testimony, custody, and all other contracts that are necessary to uphold life and civilization on earth. 11. It is impossible that any person conceive wisdom,, morals, good manners, nobleness of characters as what this honorable Prophet (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) brought. In a full and complete manner, Muhammad spread a teaching regarding character and manners toward one' parents, relatives, fiends, family, humanity, animals, plants and inanimate objects. It is impossible for the human mind alone to grasp all of that teaching or come with a similar teaching. All of that unequivocally indicates that this Messenger did not bring an) of this religion from his own accord, but that it was rather a teaching and inspiration that he received from the One Who created the earth and the high heavens above and created this universe in its miraculous architecture and perfection. 12. The legal and credal make-up of the religion that the Messenger, Muhammad, (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him) brought resembles the engineering of the heavens and the earth. All of that indicates that He who created the heavens and the earth is the One Who sent down this great law and upright religion. The degree of inimitability of the Divine law that was sent down upon Muhammad is to the same degree of inimitability of the Divine creation of the heavens and earth. For just as humanity cannot create this universe, in the same manner humanity cannot bring forth a law like Allah's law that He sent down upon His servant and messenger Muhammad (may Allah's blessings and peace be upon him).
  10. Question Is it true that jurisprudential disagreement among scholars is a kind of mercy to laymen? If so, how come? Date 13/Apr/2005 Mufti Sheikh `Abdur-Rahman `Abdul-Khaliq In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger. Thanks very much for your important question, and we implore Allah earnestly to guide us to the best way through which we can understand the teachings of Islam and apply them in the best way in our daily lives. Disagreement among scholars regarding the interpretation of indefinite legal texts is something unavoidable due to the nature of such texts, the nature of those scholars, and the influence of the place and time factors. Such disagreement is not evil. Among the aspects of the advantages of such jurisprudential disagreement is that anyone who adopts any of the resultant different opinions is blameless, as long as the opinion is based on reasonable, acceptable jurisprudential disagreement. Responding to the question, Sheikh `Abdur-Rahman `Abdul-Khaliq, head of Heritage Establishment Committee in Kuwait, states the following: Jurisprudential disagreement used to be there among the Prophet’s Companions, their followers, and the best people of this nation. This is because such disagreement is unavoidable among those who are not impeccable. The only impeccable person was the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Everyone else is fallible, so they are all bound to err. Many of the early righteous predecessors stated that such permissible and acceptable jurisprudential disagreement represents a kind of mercy to laymen as follows: 1. Mercy represented in divine pardon: Almighty Allah states in the Qur’an that the believers say: (Our Lord! Condemn us not if we forget, or miss the mark!) (Al-Baqarah 2: 286). In addition, it is stated in the Sahih of Al-Bukhari that after Allah revealed this verse and the Prophet’s Companions recited it, Allah said in reply, “I will not (condemn you).†Thus, the jurist who errs is excused; rather, he is rewarded for his effort, as it is stated in the two authentic books of Hadith that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “During judging a case, if the judge exerts an effort to reach the right judgment and he reaches it, he gets two rewards; and if he exerts an effort to reach the right judgment but he errs, he gets one reward†(Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim). 2. Mercy represented in the permissibility of maintaining a different jurisprudential opinion as stated by many eminent jurisprudents: Ibn Qudamah (may Allah bless his soul) stated in the introduction of his book Al-Mughni, “To commence, Allah, by His mercy and might, made the early scholars of this nation prominent figures, through which He set the rules of Islam and clarified the problematic rulings. Thus, their agreement is a decisive evidence, and their disagreement is a great mercy.†Likewise, the eminent Imam Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with them all), said, “Allah bestowed a benefit through the disagreement of opinion among the Prophet’s Companions as regards their deeds. Whoever follows the opinion of any of them (the Companions) will surely find that it involves ease and that there was someone better than himself who maintained such an opinion†(See Jami` Bayan Al-`Ilm Wafadlih). Moreover, in his book entitled Jami` Bayan Al-`Ilm Wafadlih, Ibn `Abdul-Barr stated, “`Umar ibn `Abdul-`Aziz and Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad once met and kept recalling the hadiths of the Prophet. In doing so, `Umar’s citations were contradictory to those of Al-Qasim, which made the latter upset. `Umar noticed that and said to him, ‘Do not be (upset), for what pleases me is that I get the best of camels (great rewards) through their (the Companions’) disagreement.’†Furthermore, Ibn Taymiyah, the Sheikh of Islam (may Allah have mercy on him) stated, "A man composed a book on jurisprudential disagreement, so Imam Ahmad said to him, ‘Do not call it the Book on Disagreement, but call it the Book on Ease."
  11. Title of Fatwa Ikhtilaaf (Juristic Difference): How and Why? Date of Fatwa 15/ October/ 2002 Date of Reply 15/ October/ 2002 Topic Of Fatwa Usool Al-Fiqh (Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence) Question of Fatwa Why did the four Imams differ on the same issue? What is the reason behind this difference? Is such difference good for other Muslims? Please enlighten me on this issue. Name of Mufti Group of Muftis In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. All thanks and praise are due to Allah and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger. Dear questioner, Thanks a lot for the confidence you place in us and the interest you show in understanding the teachings of Islam. It is to be noted firstly that the differences between Muslim scholars are minor. It stems from the fact that they differ in understanding and interpretation of the Shar`i (legal) text. Each Imam understands the text or the daleel (legal proof or evidence) according to his knowledge and gives it an interpretation that copes with his ijtihad (juristic reasoning), a thing for which the Imam is well-qualified. In the meantime, while practicing ijtihad and deducing his opinions and forming his views according to his understanding of the text, the Imam never denies the views of other people. Imam Ash-Shafi`i is reported to have said: “My opinion is right and liable to be wrong. The opinions of others are mistaken and liable to be right.†Here, it is notable also that the difference in these minor issues among the four Imams and among other scholars does not render any of them outside the domain of Islam or render him subject to blame in the least. The incident of the Battle of Banu Quraizah witnessed a difference of opinion. When they were returning to Madinah after the battle of the Trench, the Companions heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: “Let not any of you perform `Asr except in Banu Quraizah.†Some Companions understood the words to be a direct command to refrain from praying `Asr before reaching the dwellings of Bani Quraizah. Others understood it to be a command to hasten and reach the dwellings of Banu Quraizah as soon as possible. The former refrained from praying `Asr till they reached Banu Quraizah while the latter performed `Asr before getting there. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not rebuke either of the parties. Such an incident denotes that the matter was flexible and each party acted according to its understanding. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, rebuked neither party, signifying that a person who exerts efforts and reaches a decision that is based on legal texts is not to be rebuked for his understanding. Another important point is that the difference between scholars in such minor issues is really a sign of Allah’s mercy and His great bounty on people, since this facilitates matters for people and gives them a wide range of choices. In Surat Hud, we read: “And if thy Lord had willed, He verily would have made mankind one nation, yet they cease not differing. Save him on whom thy Lord hath mercy; and for that He did create them.†(Hud: 118-119) Elaborating on this issue, the prominent Muslim scholar Sheikh Yusuf Al-Qaradawi states the following: “The difference of Imams stems from the fact that the rulings of Islam are derived from religious texts. Naturally, people differ in their understanding of the texts; while some adhere to the letter of the text, others give priority to the significance and the wisdom lying behind the words. Among the main reasons of difference also is the fact that people are different in their inclinations. While some people hold a hard-line position and are strict in their way of thinking, others advocate easiness, without transgressing the limits, and stand for leniency. While Ibn `Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, used to be strict, Ibn `Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, adopted easiness in some of his juristic opinions and each of them had his own understanding.†Shedding more light on the issue, we would like to cite for you the following from The Ethics of Disagreement in Islam by the prominent Muslim scholar Dr. Taha Jabir Al-`Alawani, president of the Graduate School of Islamic and Social Sciences and president of the Fiqh Council of North America: “Allah Almighty has ordained differences between human beings in their mental capabilities, their languages, the color of their skin, and their perceptions and thoughts. All this naturally gives rise to a multiplicity and variety of opinions and judgments. If our languages, the color of our skins, and our outer appearances are signs of Allah’s creative power and wisdom; and if our minds, our mental capabilities, and the products of these minds are also signs of Allah and an indication of His consummate power; and if the populating of the universe, the beauty of being alive, and being able to live are also indications of Allah’s power, then we can justifiably say that none of this exquisite beauty and variety among human beings would have been possible if they had been created equal in every respect. Every created being indeed has its own unique characteristics. The differences which occurred among our forebears in early Muslim history and which continue to be with us are part of this natural manifestation of variety. Provided that differences do not exceed their limits, and provided they remain within the standard norms of ethics and proper behavior, this is a phenomenon that could prove to be positive and extremely beneficial.†Source: www.usc.edu
  12. the reason i said it is not a group is the follow: 1) there is no one leader, or founder of the a xizib/party; although the prophet (PBUP) was the first to use it when he said to fadumo i am ur salaf; Sister I would like if Salafi Dawa would give you his answer aniut this, but what i want to tell you is "these are the some of the tricks that they decieve the innocent people" but if you looked them deeply they are more cohesion and more systematic than any other group since they don't accept as member anyone who didn't agree with them 100% if you agree with them 99.9999% you'll not become one of them. For example I asked Salafi Dawa several times for some ULUMA and Shuyukhs whether they're Salafiyah or not and he was saying NO, NO, NO .... desbite the fact that some of these Shuyukhs see themselves as Salafiyah but because they don't agree with this group 100% they were dismissed as outside saliyah fold. Srcondly Sis. this Hdaith which they always bring forward as EVIDENCE i.e "prophet (PBUP) was the first to use it when he said to fadumo i am ur salaf;" Sister anyone who has little knowledege in Islam will see that there is no evidence in this HADITH to call yourself as salafi rather than ISLAM. the word SALAF means Predecessor in ARABIC and as any other ARABIC word it could be in QURAN as well as in HADITH. strangely this word (SALAF) is in QURAN but they don't illustrate as an evidence; You know why? not because they don't know that it's in the QURAN nor becaues they don't know ARABIC language but there is another reason. The reason is because this time the SALAF is FIRCOON and his group, so they didn't like it to show the ppl that this could be used good as well as bad. and this is a proof of what i already mentioned which is this is an ARABIC word and it could be used for its meanings (good or bad). Sis. read these three AYAS from SUURATUL ZUKHRUF and you'll understand why they didn't take this AYAH as an evidence of calling themselves as SALAF. So he (Pharoah) incited his people to levity and they obeyed him: surely they were a transgressing people. 043.054 Then when they displeased Us, We inflicted a retribution on them, so We drowned them all together, 043.055 And We made them a precedent (SALAFAN) and example to the later generations. 043.056 Did you get it? So don't be decieved by the above HADITH, because it doesn't mean that we can call ourselves as SALAF rater than the ISLAM the same is valid as this AYAH. 2) they don't have party policy or agend's on the side; for example a lot of groups have a party policy direction towards building a khalifa. This is neither true nor good thing to not have a policy or agenda in other words; They have their own policies and if the building of khilaafah is not among their agendas it's not good thing, it should be one of their agendas. 3) the word it self describes the actions of people, rather than the name or the group or the founder, which differes it frm the existing groups!! Absouletly true! and this is what Sheikh Said Ramadan Budhi said he said: "SALAF IS PLEASED ERA AND NOT ISLAMIC MADHAB" which is literaly true but you don't know how they attacked this sheikh ...... they insist that it's a AMDHAB i.e they have their own agenda, policy etc. and you say they don't have .. so where are they now? Where is Salaf dawa and his copy & paste articles he would be our judge! in this case.
  13. Salaf is not a GROUP; with the knowledge u portray i assumed u knew this; its a word which has been personified to describe an action. Mizz Lander R U Sure abouut that? According to their testemonies they're GROUP, but they insist that they're not like other groups, they always say we follow the KITAAB & SUNNAH and according the SALAF SALAH understanding. However, each group claims exactly the above claim or similar, therefore it's difficult for some people to differ who's claiming and who's right? This was the base of the debate between me and Salfi-Da'wa.
  14. Rahima this is my point, if you agree with me then Mizz lasnder is right to say that we're saying same things in different words, if not then let's see where you stand. This is my Quote: With regard to the 3 ULUMA's (Sh. Albani. Bin Baz. and Sh. Cuthaymiin) that you mentioned, there is no doubt that they were some of the greatest ULUMA in our time and i'm too small to criticise them let alone to attack them. What i disagree with you is however, to call them as SALAFIS, rather i would like to call them ISLAMIC SCHOLARS. and of course as other ISLAMIC SCHOLARS they had different views in many ISSUES which some of them are fundamental issues; like the MUSLIM who don't perform 5 daily prayers. Sheikh Albani see taarikal salaat as MUSLIM, while the other two Sheikhs (Bin BAz and Cuthaymiin) see as KAAFIR who should be divorced his wife and not be buried at the MUSLIm graves etc. The other issue is entering Democratic process and becoming member of the parliament in Muslim countries, Sheikh Albani see as KUFR action to join these parliaments while other two Sheikhs see as necessary to join the political process and to become member of the parliament enz. on the basis of these and many other facts like American troops in Arabian Penisula, Palestine struggle, Niqab which most of them are actually fundamental issues, I consider them as part of MUSLIM SCHOLARS who can differ in some issues while they agree in many issues and not as particullar group. because if they're in one particullar group, as you mentioned, they would at least agree on fundamental issues.
  15. First of all, Sis Miz lander I agree with you ...you have to be open minded and aware that there are different translations and rulings concerning each issue which is not in the QUran or there is no clear ruling on it. Sis Rahima You wrote: So now I ask you, was I saying music all along or singing? I did not say that singing was xaraam, I said that music (as in musical instruments) aside from the daf were xaraam. So why did you use the Habasha hadith in the prophets mosque. Was there music? NO, SO IT DOES NOT APPLY TO WHAT I WAS SAYING! If you follow this issue, the singing and music are interchangeable, so accept my appology if you misunderstand me, it seems that we afree the main point which is singing with/out drum, desbite the fact that some ULUMA said even this is HARAM as we can see the FATWA that you provide us. let's return to main point, my point was not the music/songs issue but the selfishness culture, particullarly in the disputed area. I/you and everybody can agree/disagree with one or many Sheikhs on particullar disputed issue, but this doesn't mean that there is no other point of view in this issue. this is what i was fighting for whole my membership in SOL. some ppl were always saying Sheikh fulan said so and that's it! and i was saying is there any evidence from KITAAB & SUNNAH? and their answer again was Sheikh fulan said ... My point is DO YOU AGREE WITH ME THAT ULUMA CAN DIFFIR IN DISPUTED AREA, BUT THEY CAN'T DIFFER IN UN-DISPUTED AREA? IN OTHER WORDS; THEY CAN DIFFER IN WHAT OUR SALAF SALAH HAVE ALREADY DISPUTED AND THEY CAN'T DIFFER IN WHAT THEY HAVEN'T DISPUTED? if you agree with me this why some ppl are making this issue (ULUMA differing in disputeable areas) BIGGER, while they make BIG issue (ALIM/ULMA who are disputing in in-disputeable areas)? I will give you examples after you respond my question.
  16. The hadith does not speak about music as we know it, (don’t twist words). At the time of Rasuallah only the daf was allowed, other instruments often used today such as wind-instruments and string instruments are forbidden in Islam. They are XARAAM and you know it, so don’t misuse the hadiths. First of all i didn't speak about music and i didn't twist words, the HABASHA were singing in the prophet Mosque in the EID day... that's the hadith in SAHIH BUKHARI and nobody can deny it, the ULUMAS differ in intreperation and that's what i told you. I myself, I don't listen any music or songs nor encouraging anybody to listen, what i want to make clear is we have to denounce the selfishness CULTERE, the culture that says ONLY me or MY sheikh knows, no other one ! The Salaf were saying that's my point of view which I think it's right but it could be wrong, and the others point of view is wrong but it could bev right. we have to revive this CULTURE i.e if there is disbuted area, we have to say some ULUMA say this and some say that or the majority of ULUMA say this etc. If you would say the majority of ULUMA make the songs HARAM, i wouldn't argue with you because it's true, but you said it's HARAM like RIBA etc. this CULTURE which says I am the only one who knows, affected our society not only in religion side but also every aspect of our life. If we let this culture to spread more in our society (which is actually already spreaded) it's our farewell. Ther's a sister asked to you what about Sheikh Qaradawi who is also one of the Islamic scholars but you didn't answered ! , if i'm not here Salafi-dawa would mock him as he did b4, i was the only one who prevented him to do so. i f i'm not here SOL would be one of their websites where ULUMA fleshes is the best DINNER. Everyday MIDBAA KAWAANKA SAARAN. that's what he wanted to create here. he did actually and i remember you were defending Sheikh Salman al-awda and Safar Xawali (whom he stripped them SALAFIYAH label), but i'm defending all of them whether SCHOLAR is salafi or otherwise and also i will fight the SELFISHNESS culture particullarly in the religion. I am not coming the political thread to argue with you that XAMAR (our beloved capital) is the most dangerous city on the earth (which it is according to an independant journalists) but i'm here to defend our ULUMAS and to fight against SELFESHNESS in religion. I told you my view about these 3 ULUMA you mentioned in early thread and i said i see them as any other islamic ULUMA and i told you that they also differ in many things which some of them are fundamental, why don't you agree or disagree with me instead of repeating you're against salafiyah etc. Salam
  17. Mizz Slander these are the answers of your questions. the other thing i will like to make clear is that i do not do everything that the salafi's did, inshallah one day i will, i will there fore not say i am a salaf; i say i am a muslim following the sunnah and the quran to the best of my ability, my examples and role models are the salaf's. This is exactly what I believe and what i want to meet ALLAH with, and i think this is what every MUSLIM should say and try to do. I agree with you 1000%, you picked from my mouth and i think i said earlier similar statement in other thread. JazakallahU Khayr. salah my question to u is, which is worse, obeying a none muslim or a corupt muslim. i live in London and i abide by the laws of Britain unless they stop me from worshiping Allah, if i lived in Saudi i will do the same, i don't attack Toney Blair so i would attack a muslim leader for his wrong doing. Sister, you misunderstand me, believe me I am strongly against violence and killing or creating FITNAH in Muslim countries wheather in Saudia, Algeria, Egypt or Pakistan, but also i am against to be AGENTS of these corrupt leaders. My view towards them is: If they allow freedom of expression we have to show them what is wrong through the means that they allowed. if they refuse that we have to tell secretly or outside the country, if they refuse and put us in prison no matter, as long as we are telling truth, if they excute us also no matter, what i am against to follow them where they're wrong or to keep quiet and not to show the mischief particullarly if your ALIM or DAACI. This is the meaning of the HADITH in whic the prophet (S.A.W) said (the meaning of hadith says) "If someone of you (Muslims) sees the evil he/she should change this evil by his/her hands, if you can't by your tongue, if you can't by your heart, and that's the weakest IIMAAN .. and ther's no atom of IIMAAN after that". i know it's difficult to change the evil in saudi arabia and in egypt or pakistan by hand but as long as i'm free (inside or outside) i can change that evil by my tongue which could be via radio, tv, newspaper, book, internet etc. The only time i have to change my heart i.e to hate from my heart and not do anything else is when i'm in prison for example and i'm not allowed to do anything or i feared for my life etc. so my question to u sahal if the Saudi people raised up against their leader, what will they achieve, they now live in peace and the leaders do not intervene with their lives or there deen, so why create trouble for themselves by calling attention to themselves through bombs and attacks. Do you know how many Sheikhs and other reformers in jail today? they don't kill or bomb anybody, they just wrote a letter to the king asking him to stop the corruption and take some steps towards reform and justice but their reward was to be behind the bars. Do they deserve the jail? if i ask another question who said we can attack non muslims in muslim countries, let alone kill them and bomb their work places, No ALIM ever gave such fatwa, those who gave such fatwa i.e to kill non muslims in muslim countries are the victims of the oppression of these tyrannies like JAMA ISLAMIYAH etc. believe me most of them were tortured in the prisions of these countries, therefore they're mentally ill. For example those who are now in prison in Saudi Arabia without any crime except thaey ask the king some reforms, if they were tortured they may join those who are killing foreigners and police forces. it's simple as that. I think i answered all your questions. salaam P.S. I forgot to tell you the songs that were in the prophets mosque in the EID were not young girls as you said but they were Ethiopian adults (HABASHA) look at BUKHARI. the young girls were in the wedding ceremony. and the Verse 6 in Luqman is broader than to be songs alone (although some mufasiroun said that), majority of mufasiroun said that (LAHWAL HADITH) is every thing that makes you busy so that you don't perform your religious duty, BUT ALLAH KNOWS BEST. This is only to show that it's KHILAAFI subject and not CLEAR HARAM as Rahima said.
  18. bro i dont incline to any ruler, the sunnah is clear, Obey your muslim rulers, do not publicly vilify them, if you can advice them in private do so. Obedience and inclination are not interchangeable. According to your understand, All the SAHABA who Publicly declined the tyranies and were killed by HAJAAJ were wrong and HAJJAJ was right, Husein Ibn ALI (R.A) and all his family were wrong when they refused the oppression of Yasid and were MASACCARAED as a result and all the SALAF and KHALAF who refused the oppression and tyrannies were all wrong and tyrannies were right. Or those were not the part of the SALAF you're saying i'm following them?
  19. Nabiga s.c.w already said that people would make xalaal what is xaraam. It is of no relevance for people to disagree on matters which are clear as daylight. The music issue is like the riba issue. Clearly xaraam, some argue it but it is baseless and not worth reading it (unless a knowledgeable person seeks to refute it). If the song issue is clear HARAM as RIBA it would not be held in the Prophet Mosque in the EID DAY and also Wedding Ceremony (look at SAHIH BUKHARI). Sahal you might not attack scholars by name, but basically when you make statements against salafis you in essence attack the likes of Sh. Albani, Ibn Baz and Cuthaymin which were undoubtedly amongst the greatest scholars of our lifetime. As i said b4 I never attacked anyone who followed SALAF path my fault that i called them salafi i should call them MUTASALIFA i.e those who claim that they're following our SALAF. With regard to the 3 ULUMA's that you mentioned, there is no doubt that they were some of the greatest ULUMA in our time and i'm too small to criticise them let alone to attack them. Finally, don't be decieved by the MUTASALIFAH group who took them as an evidence and praise when they agree their agenda and defute them when they disagree.
  20. Salafi-Dawa I am asking you one last question BUT please answer me HONESTLY. Have you BAY'A with FAHAD? Why I am asking you this question is that i heard from audio cassete sheikh Rbic/Mahamed Bin Hadi Al-madkhali (Whom you call Great Sheikh) talking to SOMALIS and saying " We have A BAY'A with the leader of this country FAHAD and his brothers ... we're not ashaming to say this since ALLAH is not ashamed to say the HAQ, There is A BAY'A in our neck to WALIYAL AMR of this country FAHAD etc. So, I wonder weather you were one of those Somalis who the Sheikh say that we had a BAY'A with FAHAD! and even if you were not there have you a BAY'A with him? It's simple and straight forward, YES or NO and don't be shy since Sheikh said don't be ashamed to say that.
  21. I would also like to say that it seems to me (i might be misunderstood) that you are also attacking a whole sector of Islam (i.e. salafi's) who strangely enough the uluam's ur defending follow (i.e. abdual waduu and Qadawie) Mizz slander, sorry i didn't reply to you. Sister i didn't attack SAFIYAH since, as you mentioned, many muslims may have vbeen labelled, but i defended theser uluma from those who called themselves SALAFIYAH but i called them MUTASALIFAH i.e saying we're following SALAFIS but lying simply because our SALAF were not insulting each other but rather were pleasing to each other. So, I am defending those who really followed the SALAFIS path like Qaradawi, SALAMAN AWDA, Abulala Mawduudi and many others from those who claimed to be salafis whose job is to detect the mistakes of others like salafi-dawa and his group. So, sometimes i may call them salafi because they claimed to be, but i meant MUTASALAIFAH.
  22. if im wrong then correct me with kitab and sunnah not idle chatter. 1. " And do not incline to those who are unjust , lest the fire touch you, and you have no guardians besides Allah, then you shall not be helped". (11:113 - HUD) You admitted that Al-saud are corrupt i.e unjust, so why do you incline to them? 2. "And (as for) the believing men and the believing women, they are guardians of each other; they enjoin good and forbid evil and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, and obey Allah and His Messenger; (as for) these, Allah will show mercy to them; surely Allah is Mighty, Wise". (9:71) ALLAH (s.W.T) commanded us to be guardians to each other i.e to protect one another not to insult to each other and to call innovators etc. 3. "Surely this Islam is your religion, one religion (only), and I am your Lord, therefore serve Me." (21:92 - Al-Anbiyaa) One Religion One Lord 4. "The Unbelievers are protectors, one of another: Unless ye do this, (protect each other) , there would be tumult and oppression on earth, and great mischief." (8:73-Al-Anfal) Do you know the meaning UNLESS YOU DO THIS, Where are you or your group from this AYAH? 5. Forbidden to you is that which dies of itself, and blood, and flesh of swine, and that on which any other name than that of Allah has been invoked, and the strangled (animal) and that beaten to death, and that killed by a fall and that killed by being smitten with the horn, and that which wild beasts have eaten, except what you slaughter, and what is sacrificed on stones set up (for idols) and that you divide by the arrows; that is a transgression. This day have those who disbelieve despaired of your religion, so fear them not, and fear Me. This day have I perfected for you your religion and completed My favor on you and chosen for you Islam as a religion; but whoever is compelled by hunger, not inclining willfully to sin, then surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. (5:3-AlMaidah) ALLAH (S.W.T) chosen for us ISLAM as a religion how one can call him/herself as salafi or khalafi etc. 6. And strive hard in (the way of) Allah, (such) a striving a is due to Him; He has chosen you and has not laid upon you an hardship in religion; the faith of your father Ibrahim; He named you Muslims before and in this, that the Messenger may be a bearer of witness to you, and you may be bearers of witness to the people; therefore keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate and hold fast by Allah; He is your Guardian; how excellent the Guardian and how excellent the Helper! As ALLAH (S.W.T) IBRAHIM (S.A.W) also called us MUSLIMIIN, how someone can call us SALAFI in 20th century. and last but not least 7. O ye who believe! stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that ye do. (5:8 Al-Maidah) When you're MOCKING Abula'ala al-mawduudi, Sayid Qutub, Sheikh Qaradawi, Salman Al-awda, Safar al-xawali, Abdiraxmaan abdulkhaliq, and many others who were fighting for the sake of ALLAH (we think so, ALLAH is the only one who knows their intention) with thier PENS, TONGUES, WEALTH, LIVES, for whole their life and some of them killed, excuted, tortured, imprisoioned for that, and you're calling them these great ULUMAS innovaters etc. (even if we assume that they're, which i don't believe) did you mentioned any of their knowledege, jihad and many other positive charecters they have/had or they don't have any HASSANAT? where are you or your group from the above and many other similar QURAN VERSES? Finally, if you don't benefit from these QURAN VERSES others will INSHAALLAH.
  23. u should not be suprised at this, the prophet told us before he even died that his ummah will be divided into 73sector's, all of them in hell except one. may allah guide us to the saved sec; amen So, Salafiyah is the saved sect? ,
  24. Ameenah it seems you're here long, and the Somalis don't tell truth to each other if I ask you one questioin; Who attacked these ULUMA in SOL (Qaradawi, Salaman al-awda, Safar al-xawali, Abula'claa mawaduudi, Bin-laden, Abdurahman Abdulkhaliq and many others) Me or Salafi-dawa? and pls don't say it was so or so ... just say who attacked them me or he? Can you find one artcle that I attacked one ALIM weather he was labeled by SALAFI or KHALAFI? All what i was doing here was to defend these ULUMA whom salafi-dawa and his group hated them because they have no BAY'A with FAHAD and if the defense of ULUMA become CRIME then we're when MUNKAR become MACRUUF and MACRUUF become MUNKAR.
  25. Brothers and Sisters I told you many times this group (the so-called Salafiyah) or Mutasalifah They HATE AWLIYAALAAH and LOVE ACDAALAAH. This guy (salafidawa) once said in another thread "I hate Bin LAADEN more than BUSH because BIN laden spoils my religion but BUSH can't spoil my religion". some of you may say NO! he didn't say that but please ask him whether he said or not! I'm sure he will reply you proudly YES ! I said because ..... So, no surprise today is the Hamza Yusuf's turn, how many ULUMA'S FLESHS he ate in SOLsince he joined , countless some of you may have seen it. From Sheikh Qaradawi, Salman Al-awda, Safar Al-xawali, through Sayid Qutub, AbulA'la al Mawduudi and many others. Does anyone know what all ULUMA that they hate have in common? The answer is; They opposed the regimes in their countries and most of them were in prison while some of them were executed by these regimes! Their ALIM, WALIYAL AMR, DHAWIILAL UMR, and of course SPONSOR is FAHAD and his cronies anyone who love him they love him anyone who oppose him they hate him. Isuggested this guy to be expelled SOL but I don't understood why he is still here
