Sheekh Adan Siiro of Somaliland is narrow-minded
MAXIMUS POWERS replied to Abtigiis's topic in General
^^ Why this Somalilander though? Who else should we be following A&T?? Do you have an alternative or do you just like to criticise? Another feeble attempt from an arm-chair politician to undermine the peace and prosperity of Somaliland. -

Goodness Gracious Me!! what era are you living in?? The best solution to dating these days is whats colloquially known as 'linkages' amongst somali people.

I dont know what is worse, cheating husbands or the women who entertain their advances!
-
Didnt quite understand that BOB*?

Somali jokes are usually lame, except stereotypical ones! Somali sense of humour usually requires some bodily movement like acting silly and doing physical things! British sense of humour is more intelligent! If you know what I mean!

LX, my dearest, how are you doing? its been a long time since I saw you here!

No BOB*, finances are stretched these days! There is no income and that means less options LOL! Hows your Weekend?

Shabaab to BEHEAD all Michael Jackson Somali fans

I am beginning to think that you see everything as unionist or a secessionist! I thought there was more depth to my fellow awdalites! -
BORING!

It breaks your heart to know that those who suffer the most in these tragic wars are women and children. Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ileyhi Rajicun...Subhanah-A llah...La Xawlah Wala Quwatta Illa Bellah. When are we going to restore hope to the displaced and the destitute! Subhanah-Allah.

If that Happened in Berbera, it would be considered sacred. Monkeys are key players there apparently. No pun intended!
-
What an over the top-sensentational little story. Somali people are not emotional and not expressive of their love towards other least of all family. They would never say something like ''i wish you enough''. Its like a rock bleeding!

You know sometimes you think your going live forever then you realise we're all going to experience the inevitable no matter what your status in life is. Its funny as sometimes I forget about death and just think I am going to live forever. I don't go to funerals nor think about dying. Its strange but Michael made me realise that death is inevitable and will unforunatately come my way hopefully not any time too soon.

There is famous, Celebrity, Superstar then Michael Jackson. The most famous man in the world whose music has broken down cultural barriers and transcends borders has left us. He will be sorely missed. Even everyone on SOL agrees they were personal touched by Michael Jackson vision and music. R.I.P my sxb and hero

Awdal Leads the Somaliland Literature Competition
MAXIMUS POWERS replied to Jacaylbaro's topic in General
You should stop calling people names and just be a adult sxb. If you don't agree with something, just express your concerns. There is no need to constantly attack people. You need to grow up adeer. Me and you are very simialr qalbi adeyg and have alot in common from what you write on your posts. I am not your enemy brother. I just dont like the fact your aggressive and bully people. Sida Kaale, just chill and be cool. -

I think what Universal TV is doing a decent job on educating people about health problems. But I cant help but notice most of these issues can easily be solved. Whatsmore, its interesting to hear some of the bizzare conditions that somali people live with. Once a old Somali man had a a lump on his throat. He didn't know what it was and asked the doctor. The doctor said it might be cancer and the old man was shocked and his voiced changed and he seemed really shocked. its real television! The calls should be anonymous but they insist on asking for their names and where they are from.

The original Somaliland Independence Day. If some foolish politicians didn't surrender our independence to the ill-fated and ill-conceived union of Somalia in 1960 that brought together Somaliland and Somalia under a flawed policy, wrapped in illusion, things would have been so different today. Laakin, lighting doesn't strike twice in the same place. Happy 49th Anniversary Somaliland.

I cant believe Michael Jackson is dead. This is truly a dark day for humanity and a sad day for music lovers. I remember when I first heard the sound of Michael Jackson, it was so smoothing and full of character. None will have have the right to be called the King of Music. He will be sorely missed. My musical heroes are all dying out. First it was PIMP C in 2007 and now Michael!
-
R.I.P Michael. Please avoid making derogatory remarks about Michael. Whatever personal issues he had, he revolutionised Music and I think we can all agree on that.
-
NG, this is not the time for your silly little tirades sxb. The king is apparently dead. All our thought are with his family in this difficult time.
-
There are unconfirmed reports that michael has died! ..... this is a worrying development! please dont let it be true!

The new garaad in lascanood where does he stand politically
MAXIMUS POWERS replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
When garaad Abdulqani was approached by the Siyad Barre regime to mobilise his people against the extermination of the people of Northern Somalia (Now Somaliland). Garaard Abdulqani said: ''We and the people of Northern Somalia (Now Somaliland) share land, marriage lineage, cultural heritage, tradition, common customs, history, similar dialects, folkloric dances, upbringing, educational system and a colonial system. With you Mr. President, we share none of that.'' The Garaad's speech touched almost all the hearts of the people of all Somaliland.
