    that was a hard one but after much debate with myself; jealousy because hatred is something that once developed stays with you for a long time and beside I can work my way towards not being so jealous :D

    I don't know if this topic has been covered yet so if it has my apologies if not who's your favourite artist?

    I really don't have one but Jill Scott comes really close also like Glenn Lewis,India Arie, Angie Stone and of course Musiq wait a minute there more Marvin Gaye and of course Bob Marley...okay thats it for now :D

    I wonder how I missed this topic?

    I use to obsess about the way I looked (too short, a bit thick in the bottom) but I learned to accept myself for myself nothing excluded height,weight,etc,. So now Im gradually working my way towards loving all of me I know Im almost there and so not too long from now I'll be saying

    I hate to burst a lot of bubbles but hello people there good and bad in every society and that includes some people being drug abusers, prostitues,hoodlems,etc, in our society. Im saying this as a realist Im not inviting the wrath of somalia online to my doorstep so please hold on to your neutred horses as I would not like to get crushed, but one thing we have to learn is not to be ostriches when we hear the ugly truth we have to learn to face it not stick our heads in the ground as ostriches are known to do :D as for the post thats quite disgusting to hear that young girls are lured form there homes on the promises that there doing cultural shows...of all that rotten and slimy things to do! :mad:

    We as somalis are one of the few nationalities who dosn't embrace our fellow somalis instead we spearte oursleves from each other with whatever we can find. And most of the times it has to do with us thinking we're better than that person or this person because they are jareere or midgaan cadoon or yibiir. Not only are these childish names and slurs but they are rude tribal references. There is nothing worse than two people that are born in the same country and never met but they hate each other because of a juvenile campfire story or legend. So my question is why do some of us separate each other from other fellow country men/women?

    good advice sis, but breast cancer is a genetic disease so chances are if any female in your family line had it (your mom,grandma,etc,.) than theres a HUGE! possiblity that you can have it too. this also applies to the males even though its more prevalent in females but 3 %chance for the men so my advice check your geneology for te diseases in the family tree...
