Markaa if you don' know what is happening there, it doesn't mean warka ma cada. It is CONFIRMED but will be made official in the coming two days . :D (If A&T ever asks you for loan, expect such excuses when the payment is late).
  2. ^^ As a result of the meeting or are you talking about your usual work?
  3. ^^ One minute he's adopting a baby in Somaliland and the next he's going to Haj! War kanu wuu na waalay dee.
  4. ^^ If it's your last week at work you should have a spring in your step and be willing to move mountains. Waxba ka se, eedo. Seriously.
  5. ^^ Wa caleekom Al Salaam wwb..it depends on your view really. If you're still snuggled in bed and looking at it through a window, it's a lovely day. If you're at work or have to travel to work, it's a grim and depressing day.
  6. Such things were always expected. Hope it improves.

(He did).
  8. ^^ I wanted to do a caricature about the coming Eid and Xamar's current peace. (something along the lines of one sheep saying to the other "didn't I tell you that once they get peace they'll turn their attention to us?" or something).
  9. ^^ He looks good. Bahasha baro warya. Torres never stopped running into spaces and draging defenders with him. He also missed a very good chance. Anyway, forget all of that. Here, have a chuckle:

I saw you replying to someone and noticed the photo. I then saw it on that other website as I looked for Somali sheep. Don't panic. Morning all. First in AGAIN!

So called government just shows up for the ribbon cutting and pass it 'development'. I don't think SL ever pretended to be a socialist government, saaxib. They do have their faults (the Oromo debacle, the treatement of journalists, the obvious nepotism and corruption) however, they do also play a part in ensuring the continution of relative normalcy for the citizens of SL. In addition, the tax money collected goes into various areas (other than security) such as education, health and infrastructure improvements. SL TV now broadcasts in both Somali and English (with an Arabic service on the way). The government has increased the salaries of most civil servants and introduced free education for poorer families (the funding comes from aid and taxes). Elections are about to take place again and the people are still in support of the idea of SL (a point that should never escape your attention considering the climate in the horn). This is not PL, saaxib. This is a real and proper adminstration that though falls short in many areas does surpass itself in many more (just as the Riyaale adminstration before it did). Opening a stadium (no matter how shabby) or a radio station or praying among the people in a mosque are all good politics that remind the people they live in an organised state. Criticise SL on secession or unity if you must but don't waste your time criticising obvious progress.

In addition, the woman happens to be deeply in love with him. My friend is so sad. Marry your friend yourself. This will make the married man question his manliness and will drive him into a world of depression, drugs and drink. His wife will leave him, his employers will sack him and everyone that knows him will distance themselves from him. Then, one day, as you and your "wife" happily walk hand in hand in a popular gay park, you'll hear a hoarse voice coming from some bushes on the side asking you for some spare change. Your "wife" will look down and have a heart attack from seeing her former lover in that sad state; he'll see the woman that was the cause for his ruin and also have a heart attack. They'll die in each other’s arms while you walk away bitterly saying to yourself "how dare she die in the arms of a tramp!”...... Naga daaya dee.
  14. ^^ I don't need excuses to insult you. You probably saw the picture anyway. It was from the collection you got yoru FB profile from.
  15. ^^ Did your guys annoy them that much at the negotiation table that they finally decided to throw the baby with the bath water?
  16. I was looking for a picture of a Somali sheep on google when I stumbled on this site: http://history-links.blogspot.co.uk/2010/11/billy-mc-kinley-oral-history.html Good photos from 60s Somaliland.
  17. ^^ Yes but there is a conflict of interests for you and therefore your view can't be taken as seriously as that of someone with who has some distance.
  18. ^^ But that wasn't why I called you blinkered.
  19. ^^ War hold your dameero; I only accepted Che's argument there. I still think you're blinkered.
  20. ^^ Most Imams and elders will side with the mother and make excuses for her actions. These problems can't be fixed on individual basis, they're ones that can only be brought to light throw the media and awareness programs.
  21. ^^ I can't be blinkered when I accept corrections dee. Wax fahan.
  22. Wyre is a dalaal. He wants you to come to Haj so that he can show you the sights and charge you over the odds for it.

They arm and control Ahlu Sunnah in central regions and Gedo, so they are very much present in Somalia and armed to the teeth. And I don't discount Kenya's threat but I just believe it's easier to neutralize Kenya. Fair enough. I forgot about all of that.
  24. ^^ You don't have red teeth dee. That was only because you told me not to mention you in the story. (as for Lizard, I'm one too).
  25. ^^ Naturally madow are really nice but Ibti is a lizard dee. She changes with the enviornment.
