^^ You know this land theft is a real problem in Somalia these days. The number of people I hear complaining about land disputes is endless. After they moan and complain they turn to you and ask you why have you not built a house in Somalia yet!
-
^^ I don't know ANY females that speak the gibberish lingo. Well, not these days anyway. So, no, I don't think I know CL. It was another lady that told me this story. A cousin of a cousin of a cousin of someone you know.

Ibti, I never said I'll go. But there is no harm in knowing. It's not as if the wife and kids will agree to go. Well, not unless my beloved ayeeyo agrees to babysit for me while I run to burco and check that piece of land she bought is still there. Hi Ser.
-
^^ Share? I thought I just did! It was the EXACT same story you just told. I'm starting to think that these things only happen to you and me. I mean have you EVER heard Val talking about anything similar? That woman floats through life with no incidents at all.
-
^^ My passport has my place of birth as Hargeisa anyway ps Can one go to Burco on a weekend visit from Dubai? Is it worth it? I might do it you know.
-
How many rooms does that hotel have?
-
Just read the drunk stuff. Heh. Someone was telling me yesterday the exact same story! Heh.
-
Heh. I was just saying..

^^ And bad teeth.

Lovely day today. The sun is out.

Originally posted by Abu-Salman: But then again, apart from personal attack and displaced emotions (are you running for the label of liberal, so-called "modern" Muslim?), you opted to not analyse the root issue, ie beheading of collaborators, while hinting at how you came to the conclusion that it was "Un-islamic" . Why are you muddling that core issue with unwarranted puerilties or "your lot did that and this"? Are you not Muslim yourself, why singling yourself out of Somalis, Palestinians or others, whaterver their mistakes that you are allowed to warn against through Islamic knowledge and the proper terminology (Haaram, Makruuh etc) instead of "spin", "savage" etc? Last but not least, only a Jaahil or Non-Muslim would separate Islam, or submission (to Allah's Shariah), from "politics" as it is well known that Islam encompass every sphere, if only as a starting point... [/QB] Stuff and nonsense. I don't need to bring you any proof for something that is well publicised and spoken about by all and sundry. Since you support it, you go and dig up all the fatwas by the scholars about all the beheadings that took place in Iraq in the recent past. When I say your lot I clearly distance myself from the savages you support. It is your lot that dig up graves (twist and turn as much as you like, it still remains them). It is your lot that drag dead bodies around (again, go and blame it on simple civilians but it is still you). It is your lot that beheads captured soldiers. These are facts. Do you wish now to distance yourself from them? Aar at least have some convictions and principles. Don't excuse, justify and explain. Either fully admit it or condemn the parts you don't agree with. You last point about a 'jaahil' is nothing but a temper tantrum with neither explanation nor sense. Politics, my confused mullah, is a game of treachery, lies, double standards and betrayal. Is that how you view Islam too? I don't at all doubt your sincerity but I do doubt your honesty. For a so-called Mullah, it leaves a lot to be desired. Go back and rethink your ideas, saaxib. Not for Somalia (to hell with Somalia for now), do it for your own self worth. Kashafa, At least I stand by my words and don't change with the tide, saaxib. Three years ago, I gave a clear explanation why America's war in Iraq was justifiable (in the traditional sense of war) and I stand by the words I wrote. In fact, I've just gone back and read my words and I'm rather pleased with my handy work there. It is a shame that you have not mentally progressed in those three years, a real shame. If anything, your thought processes have regressed since that time. Here is what you wrote once upon a time about the motive for the London bombings: Originally posted by Kashafa: Apparent Motive: To strike back at the UK for it's involvement in Iraq. Force a "Spain-like" withdrawal. Will it work: Tentatively, Yes. There's only so much carnage the public can stomach. "Get out of Iraq/Bombs will stop" will become more and more appealing. Justified: No should have been expected: Absolutely. Tit-for-Tat. Newton's 3rd Law. Will happen again: More than likely Who are the bombers: Young muslims with the right intentions but wrong methods. Justify with one hand and condemn with another. This is really too much for a western boy like me to take in.

^^ Not at all, Geel Jire! War is savage, brutal and cruel. It is also noble, righteous and honourable. Yes it is mad but there is method to the madness. The beheading of prisoners is not the act of Muslims, it is what unprincipled savages do. Why would anyone want you to win this war when you clearly hold no principles and would easily discard your morals to reach your goals? Abu Salman, Your logic does not differ much from the Yahoodis. Spin it as much as you like. It is your lot that drags corpses around the streets (why blame it on the civilians now?). It's your lot that beheads prisoners. It was your lot that dug up graves. The list of savage acts is piling up, my confused mullah. Does doubt never creep into your mind when you count up all this nonesense? Do you not at all wonder if things should be done differently? Why the blind support?

Aduun, Moving words that almost brought a tear to my eyes there, saaxib. Alas, in the past seventeen years millions of similar words were written and all have fallen on deaf ears. Can't you get the hint? have also doubts regarding how popular this idea is even among the somalilanders and how that can be ascertained now beats me. After that is settled we then need to find out wether our brothers and sisters are being manipulated by a few self serving individuals or not. You do realise that there were a couple of elections in Somaliland and that most people took part in these elections. Would you call a democratic election a form of manipulation? What isn't in that case? I doubt anything short of meeting and questioning every Somalilander would convince you of the popular support for that entity within Somaliland! Having settled all that then comes the biggest hurdle of all. The boundaries of the new state. Is your secession worth another war over boundaries and a new bloodshed ? How many poor souls must we loose over and over again over greed ? All of the above require an orderly retreat with as little loss of lives and property as possible and that cannot be achieved because of the current state of affairs. If somaliland needs to seceed it must do so not as an opportunist with little regard to either principles or consequences for all involed but by genuinely pursuing their goal with determination and no ill intent or action. It is well documented on these boards that I was not the loudest supporter of Somaliland in the past. I saw many obstacles and a lethargic government where other Somalilanders didn't see any. However, the recent moves of Somaliland convinced me that there is life in the old girl yet! The recent capture of LA took place with the minimum loss of life. It was spearheaded by people of that city. The Makhir issue was also spearheaded by people of that region. You call it manipulation, I call it politics. You can dream as much as you like, brother. However, when you decide to wakeup, you will notice that Somaliland is making progress on all political fronts. Now you are really left with two choices; support it unconditionally or oppose it categorically. This business of dreaming, ridiculing, threatening and pleading all at the same time is tiresome and (if the evidence of the past seventeen years is anything to go by) useless. Try a little pragmatism, brother.

Kashafa, When the Israeli Defence Minster was asked about his country's disproportionate response to all those Qassam rockets, he gave a reply similar to yours, son. They brought it on themselves, he shouted! His words were as hollow as yours are now. The position you and your kind hold is as rickety as that of the TFG. Even if the Ethiopians leave tomorrow why should people support savages such as you? You neither have respect for corpses or living people and your so-called resistance costs more innocent Somali lives than any Ethiopian soldier would ever cause. But that's ok in your muddled mind, you're liberating the land and these dead people are reluctant martyrs! Is there one shred of decency in that mind of yours, child? One single one? How in the world do you (and people like you) manage to make the Dukes of this world look good and noble? HOW? P A T H E T I C!

Grrrr! Naxar had to join this discussion. I'm out. Behead him, boys.

Originally posted by Socod_badne: quote:Originally posted by NGONGE: ^^ You replied more than three times to this topic merely to state the obvious? How obtuse! Truth is worth repeating even for the umpteenth time. Facts are stubborn! And for the ppl shedding crocodile tears for 3 enemy collaborators, don't insult our intelligence. When Ethiopian military and their dhabodhilif foot soldiers lop missiles into civilian homes many heads get decapitated. Plastering this site with dhabodhilif propaganda to paint totally one-sided picture won't go unanswered. Twist, turn and wriggle, my friend. Shall we go back to JB's questions then? It is duplicitous and obtuse to hold the position you hold. Ethiopians kill, rape and humiliate civilians and they should be fought. CORRECT. Islamists capture and behead three soldiers. WRONG. The excesses of one do not at all justify the extremes of the other.

^^ Malika, It did not stop you from talking about food though! Chub, I bet this stuff happens to everyone. I'm just more observant, that's all.
-
^^ It is war but war (for MUSLIMS) should still have some rules. You are not a savage, son. You are claiming to be a MUSLIM. This is not Islamic conduct no matter what was the provocation.
-
^^ What else could I do? I still had to reply to the man and pretend that it did not matter.

This has nothing to do with political correctness, son. This is about right and wrong. Don't talk about women being raped and a country being occupied if, at the same time, you're going to support such barbaric revenges. If your retaliation has no limits and is not bound by any rules, principles and morals don't go wailing around and expecting sympathy. Your kind truly deserve to be occupied. You completely take away the legitimacy of your struggle by supporting such nonsense.

^^ Nothing to do with Saudi Arabia, son. Such jokes are a little vulgar in public, that's all.

CL, You want to hear one of my episodes? Well, now that you remind me, let me disgust you like I was disgusted earlier. This lunchtime, I went out for my weekly shiisha and got on a bus. As usual, I went and sat on the back seat. A few stops later, an Indian old man got on the bus and stumbled his way to the back seats too. He looked clumsy and was swaying as he walked towards where I was sitting. I had a feeling something was going wrong (I have a lifetime experience of these things by now). Just as he reached me and was going to sit opposite me, the bus started to move! The old man almost fell on top of me. As I put my hands up and attempted to cushion his fall I noticed that he had a watery nose! A big wet snot landed on my eyelashes and top lip.........

Last night, in my dream, I received a delegation of SOL elders all pleading with my to leave CL alone. They said I was picking on her and being harsh to her all the time. I think I promised to lay off a little but I'm not too sure about that last part. Angelina Julie offering me some Ice Cream sort of confused matters, you see...
