  1. SS, I agree if it were in two parts of the world. But this was in the exact same place. The animals were facing exinction because of the actions of the rebels. But in the same exact area ( mere meters from the animals) lived the poor innocent people who also were dying because of the actions of the rebels. To raise a din over one and not the other is shameful.
  2. ^^ I regard a human (of any faith) more important than an animal. I would put all my effort into saving one child than a species of animal facing extinction. Bint Hamid was talking about different faiths and you are not helping the argument by comparing the Haitians to animals, my friends (it's implied).
  3. Nicely written nonsense. Love? I'll use your most frequent phrase "We'll talk more about that later".
  4. Meesha waxa qasay are all the do gooders. Originally posted by B: ^^ Why are you speaking for me?. What gives you that entitlement, I am hereby telling you to stop your rudeness! Because I am the older person here, young man. Now keep quiet and let me deal with these people.
  5. What did you say to upset him, Juxa? Waaka tufaaxa ku so noqday! Qar-dho..Qar-dho... In Somali 'hello' can be anything. Miyaanad arag qof kugo salaamaya 'haayaaay'! Ama mid kale kugo salaamaya 'Huhu'! Ama mid kugo salaamaya 'Haahay'! I've often had people greating me with the exclamation 'Balo!' before commencing to warmly shake my hand.
  6. ^^ . Yes it's me (talow ya ila fahmay?). Maaddeey, i daa saaxib. Luggoyoaad tahay. I gave my opinion on what was on the thread and when you asked my your question with a new set of conditions I told you I'll do what the sheikh did. Maxaan ku murmayna hada?
  7. ^^ (it's either you're a saqajaan or I'm a saqajaan).

If it is as they told it on this thread then it is foolish ninyaho. Do you have a different story?
  9. Originally posted by Maaddeey: Edit: NGONGE, yaa saaxibii, what would you do if you were the Imam and relatives of the deceased told u he was not Muslim? (looks like teh Janaazah, the Info the fardh prayer was all at once) I'll do what the sheikh did, saaxib. Adiga did you read what I wrote?
  10. Originally posted by Abtigiis & Tusbax: The family are wrong. knowing Somali's, it is hard such issues would have come out of the blue. The status of guy must have been known by the community. Laakin maa caleesh, Sheekh Tolka ah lama waayo oo kugu tukan even if you are not a Muslim. I support the Imam here. He was right to make his stance. Qofkani muslim ma aha baa la yidhiye who have different opinion haduu yidhi muxuu bi'yey? Kolka ay gaalada is guursan soow kuwa yidhaa "yaa diidan guurkan?". I think the same should apply kolkuu qofku dhinto ee masaajid la keeno, haddii shaki jiro. Don't know much about the story to agree or disagree with the Imam, saaxib. But if it is as they told it above then the Imam was foolish (regardless of the religious principles). Presentation matters, timing matters and discretion is paramount.
  11. If you say "Haye" to someone their reply, more often than not, will be along the lines of telling you they are doing ok or giving you some news. So, "Haye" on its own can not be the same as "Hello". Person one: Haye Person two: Waa khayr This wouldn't work because, normally, if you said hello to someone they will reply with a similar hello. If you double it by saying 'haye haye', however, then it's positively hello. Try it. Disclaimer: I have no idea what I'm talking about and should not be held responsible for my comments here.

Waan daalay!!.. On that part, it's all three. On the dogs thing I was just mocking the gaalo and how they would jump up to save animals in a war torn country without a hint of shame. On Riyaale, I was mocking him and praising him all at the same time. I think, on the whole, he did well to keep that place in one piece. P.S. Nassir & Showqi, pay no attention to my little scuffles with young B. He loves it (trust me, he does).

    Who is B?

I can't make any comments. But I'll let Juxa speak for me here. Originally posted by Juxa: Ngonge take a look at this Section 59(2)&(4)Coroner and Justice Act (2009)! if you cant be bothered, it is an offence to commit an act which is capable of encouraging or assisting another to commit or attempt suicide. i know you probably lack the intention lakin bal tartiib ps: the person committing the offence need NOT know the other person or even be able to identify. the above came to effect to prevent comments posted on WEBSITES which encourage vulnerable people commit suicide
  14. ^^ If he jumps it'll only be B. Queen A and his other personalities will remain, saaxib.
  15. ^^ Plenty but I thought it was far too early in the morning for such talk.
  16. Originally posted by Haatu: So you had a free week. I envy you. I think the proper Somali reply here would be YAHOO!
  17. ^^ Blame it on Iceland. The person that was supposed to keep me busy all week didn't turn up.
  18. ^^ NEVER. The arthritis is still in its early stages; I think I have years of typing yet.
  19. ^^ Those glasses helped him win two Spanish Leagues, a UEFA cup, a Champions League and an FA Cup. But, like you did with the predictions, you'll go against all rational arguments and still try to argue that he's rubbish. P.S. Titus Bramble has always been great with his head. It's his concentration that lets him down.
  20. Malika & Juxa are panicking for no reason. The girl went home, people. She's as safe as any Indian.
  21. ^^ What ilbaaxnimo, adeer? You can't pay your rent, you steal old ladies travel cards, you have no friends and your hoyo keeps asking you to come back home! War jump ban ku idhi.
  22. ^^ Who lied to you and told you that you're black? You are as Indian as any of them.
  23. Originally posted by B: quote:Originally posted by NGONGE: I don’t have any friends in their twenties and can’t imagine having anything in common with that age group. So, why do I feel comfortable interacting with them online? Why do they dare communicate with me? I know and they know that if we met in real life, they would be offering me their seats, shyly keeping their answers short and respectfully taking all the rubbish I throw their way without a single murmur. It doesn’t make any sense. Maybe it because your rude and obnoxious! I probably wouldn't tolerate your attitude in 'real life'. I would probably knock you out! I was not talking about your kind of twenty-year-olds, adeer. I do not mix with criminals no matter how old they are. Now go jump please.
  24. Cawaale, was the spelling wrong? Saba7 el ward ya ustaadi.
  25. ^^ Nothing wrong with my predictions. Every single one of them was good and well reasoned. War kubbada barta.
