  1. ^^ It weas more or less the same squad, saaxib. Alonso was replced with Aquilani. Johnson replaced Arbeloa. I would still wager that this same group of players could have challanged for the title and the CL. It was just a freak season really. Chelsea may win the double yet nobody could really say they had a great season. As for United, they have been crap. P.S. Rafa wants five new players or he's off to Juve. I think he'll get his wish. Watch this space. P.P.S Don't listen to the Arsenal fan above you.
  2. ^^ Injuries and a one off season. It went wrong for everyone, saaxib. Not just Liverpool. How many games have Chelsea lost this season? How many games have they lost when the won the league the two previous times?
  3. Rafeeq = Any Indian in the UAE Arbaab = Any boss Moskhil = problem Biskhaar = Servant Baaba = big boss Maama = bigger boss Jinjaal = telling off/ fight/ argument Waajid gargar = Talking too much Ma Fi Mokh = Norf.
  4. ^^ We lost it on Saturday, saaxib. Never mind, there is always next season. Rafa is negotiating hard with the owners and may just secure five new signings. Good luck to Chelsea. They played us when all was lost.

Could cut down on the 'case closed' nonsense but, overall, it's a very good article that you and Che are not giving him credit for, even though you can't counter it.
  6. ^^Is it me or is the word adeer here carrying unusual weight.

  8. ^^ As disgusting as you think it is I am willing to wager that most young African men don't see it as such.

The girls are either forced or simply do it for the money. so, 'last night I did the nasty with a 65 year old Englishwoman' is a boast? Vomit. I'm yet to meet a man or woman boast about such a 'conquest'. Mostly they have Dettol vapour on their breath, they drink the stuff, they're so disgusted with what they do for money or a ticket out. She's white and she's rich. He's a young African man, and, young African men (usually) boast about the wet dreams they had, never mind (the real)rich white women they slept with.

  11. ^^ War I said my piece and left it at that. Kuwan aan kubbada wax ka aqoon ba i daba socda dee. Miyaan aamusa? nuune, dee waad argta waxay ku hadlayaan? Changing Ibra for Bojan is not tactical!
  12. Originally posted by Abtigiis & Tusbax: The thing is change of personnel is not necessarily tactics. Tactics is when you alter the formation of your team, the pace of the game, etc etc. And sometimes also changing players can be tactics, but NOT when it is a substitution of like for like. Suppose Mourinho is the coach of Burnley? What is his chance of winning the League cup? Tactics only work when the personnel is right. That is why you can be as sherwd as Bora Mulitinovic but you can not win the World Cup with North Korea. If teams do well nowadays, it is USUALLY becuase they have better players. If you play TALL Ibra upfront instead of TINY Bojan or Messi, you CHANGE the tactics and style of play, saaxib (short quick passing and no high balls). Kubbada baro. If Jose was the boss of Burnley he will go out and buy players that fit into his tactics (just like he got Mota, Lucio, Eto and Snijder). Kubbada baro. Teams do well for a collection of reasons. Tactics being the most important of the lot. Look at Fulham. Kubbada bro. Ayub, Take your sprinkler and go away warya. I was right despite all your nitpicking. Kubbada baro.
  13. ^^ Messi was crowding Xavi, saaxib. Campiaso and half the Inter players attacked the areas where Barca play. This is why you didn't see any of the xarrago passes that they tried on little Arsenal. War Kubbada barta. Tonight, Liverpool will have a hard time beating Madrid. Lets hope Babel turns up.
  14. ^^ Yes. But many Somali women think that anyway.
  15. ^^^ ma ila argtay? Blessed, You will not have much say on the matter if we follow current projections. For example: Apparently, the law should be changed so that seven-year-old girls can get married and have babies. Now if we presume that the husband is also seven, it's quite clear the little rascal is broke. (source withheld but I bet you can guess it). P.S. I'm going to die before my time.
  16. The truth of Ali’s claim is borne out by women such as Shakur, who exemplifies the so-called ‘westernised woman’. She idolises Oprah Winfrey and the way her talk shows address women’s issues. ‘You can call me a feminist,’ she said. A glance at her video cassette collection reveals that she also admires movies that possess a taste for love, romance and feminism. One example is Madonna's Innocence Lost – an intimate, rags to riches story, which testifies to the way in which sheer ambition can lift a charismatic woman to the pinnacle of the entertainment industry. The other movie, Sliver, involves a women (Sharon Stone) looking for excitement in her life after ending an unhappy marriage. I am told that both movies are full of gratuitous nudity and a nonexistent plot. The author is trying to praise Somali women by painting them as harlots. What was that somali saying that ends with xaawa leh?
  17. Tuujiye, Juxa, Blessed and Val are all trespassing on this thread.
  18. ^^ Don't wink at me warya. I dare say they would ban Britney and Bon Jovi if it's found that the two have no degrees. War wax fahan dee. The Dubai authorities are rigid like that. Groove Rider went down for FOUR YEARS! Here is a suggestion, google the words "arrested in Dubai" and see how many different Westerners got done. P.S. The Kenyans deserve it. Fancy arresting tourists on the charges of terrorism and BRIBERY.
  19. ^^ No idea who, saaxib. But in their country and when it came to immigration rules, they always did whatever they wanted to do regardless of the foe. This business of them only doing it to Africans is nonsense. Even more so when we keep hearing endless stories of misbehaving Westerners being arrested, questioned or deported. ailamos, What dire consequences when you refuse Visa's to people with no University degrees? (from any part of the world). This is simply a political slap on the face for the Kenyans. The Minster went to kowtow and everything will be fine in days. P.S. Not all of the UAE are applying this rule. Only Dubai (I think).
  20. ^^ Barca were Barca, nither terrible nor great. Inter were very good though. Tactics, A&T, tactics. Kubbada barta.
  21. ^^ Go with the title, dear. They would do it to anyone if it was a sheikh. They would tighten the rules against ANYONE (it IS their country).
  22. ^^ Donner Shabab or Shiish Shabab? TFG Nuggets with a side of AMISOM salad.
  23. Storm in a tea cup. There is a whole week to go and a debate on the economy to fight over. It's not over yet.
