  1. Juxa: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!
  2. Do you still have your old one, Jb? Do you have to pay a fee to get the card or is it free? Juxa, whatever it is you deleted must have been no good. Think before you post next time. (morning).
  3. ^^ The biggest weaknes of any Holland team is the mentality. They always fall out and have problems in their camp. Also, whenever they're in a tough game, they always lose their nerve. No chance Holland will win the world cup. The African teams are crap. This world cup is for Spain to lose really. Nobody else seems to present a real challange.
  4. Kashafa and Maaddeey are being duplicitous here. The old man is power hungry or else he would not be fighting. He believes (rightly or wrongly) that his way is the correct way and his leadership is the right leadership. To say that you are fighting for a principle yet still argue that your fight is not one for power is nothing but barefaced rhetoric. Guys, by all means defend the man but do not waste your time defending an obvious point and tying yourselves in circular rhetoric that makes you appear dishonest and two-faced. This is really a non-discussion.

Calling a glorified stripper a stripper is an insult? She takes her clothes off for a living, dear. Insults and criticisms are bound to follow. At any rate, if this film helps you and others to understand FGM, all power to her says I.
  6. ^^ When you say 'less clothing', you mean none at all, right? I think my Coke advert was the best post on this thread anyway.
  7. ^^ They'll all get caught for pace, saaxib. But I'm sure Capello had thought of that and devised a plan.
  8. ^^ Latest news: John Terry is out of the world cup. Did his metatarsal. Bring on King. I always said he was a great player.
  9. ^^ Su'aashiisa muhim o arag ama ha arkin, adiga meeshan is keenay, saaxib? Ka jawaab. Having said that, I have no idea what Ayoub's exact question is. That Maaddeey chooses one group over another or that Aweys is power hungray?
  10. Originally posted by Abtigiis & Tusbax: OZ, why do we sometimes tend to believe in myths. Both Zanetti and Riquelme were in Argentina squad long enough to win something, and they didn't. And I will argue with top class players on their side all along. The same goes for those who dramatise the impact of Ronaldinho. Was he not there in 2006? Zenetti is protected in Inter by a veru good midfield who allows little to pass to the defence. If exposed to fast strikers, he lacks the pace. You were doing so well too. Maradonna did not pick these players for personal reasons, saaxib. He never got on with Zanetti or the others. He used to criticse them even before he became manager. As for Brazil, Dunga was always the plodding water carrier and he was bound to pick a team in his own image (no Lucas? The cheek!). But the craziest of the lot is the French manager. No Benzema or Nasri in his squad.
  11. ^^ Nobody sent me anywhere. GJ had a point when attacking this woman. She's making a film about her life story not FGM itself. This is not a men v women thing, dear. Put down your feminist hammer. At any rate, I have a feeling you will not like my advert-come-movie idea any more. I'll tell you anyway... Picture the scene: Camera pans into a black background with a shiny dot somewhere in the middle distance. It slowly starts to zoom into the dot with the music of Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons belting out Big Girls Don't Cry. The dot starts to get bigger and bigger. The words Coca Cola appear on the side. It's a closed can of coke with the top missing! Zoom out. Fade. Say No To FGM. Fade. The End.
  12. ^^ Good cause, dear, good cause. No arm twisting. Anyway, the last time I made a donation the prize was a dinner with Serenity. I'm still waiting.
  13. Originally posted by Malika: ^I expected more from you,but again your A man.. ,so clever of you to 'fahan the film'[no pun]. You guys can call her whatever you want, can insult her as much as you want,YOU will never understand the impact of FGM on the lives of girls/women in a million years! Your opinion of her matter's very little when it comes to this issue..dinaacas kaa maraa>>>> Just watched the trailor (with no sound) and can't really understand what you're on about there, Malika. Looks like FGM is not the be all and end all of this movie. But, even if it is, the movie is directed at Western audiances and not the cackling witches that chop little girls up. P.S. We do understand. In fact, if I had the money and expertise, I reckon I could make a much better movie about FGM. It would be an advert and a movie all at the same time. I'll tell you about it if you ask nicely (and if there are no kids reading this).
  14. No. Don't wait. JUMP at the opportunity.
  15. ^^ Don't turn it into an argument. Just emphasise the good cause and sidestep the other questions. P.S. £45 is not something to scoff at when you have to spend an evening with every Abdi and his dog. It's not the same as a night out with people you like. Ignore this and go with my first comment though.
  16. ^^ And Zamora is proven for England? War kubbada baro. Anyway, neither would have made it to the final 23. Capello will probably get rid of the following: Bent, Huddlestone, Warnock, Upson, Sean-Right P, Barry (if injured, Parker if not) and KING.
  17. ^^ As much as I'd love to, I have a feeling it will not be in the same way that Karl intended. Wax fahan.
  18. ^^ That's different though (which is why I said he is uuuf ). To pick him up on these points is all fair but to go on about his wadaad status, script secrets and all the other nonsense is dull, saaxib. What's worse, when one starts it another ten follow and kill any chance of a discussion. Dee naga daaya.
  19. ^^ They need cover for Johnson and the centre of defence. Note, however, that Zamorra was not picked.
  20. Originally posted by Karl_Polanyi: I can't attend, but i'll ring Sahra or Sucad for some words of encouragement.
