^^ By the time Spurs scored their three goals Inter were not playing with any holding players and had ancient Cordoba playing in Maicon's place. This is champions League football and I would say (with my eyes closed) that Rafa's team will win (again) at the Lane. P.S. That eighteen year old Brazilian looks good.

UK spending cuts announced. How will this affect the Somalis?
NGONGE replied to Libaax-Sankataabte's topic in General
^^ Same old stuff. They'll just change the way benefits are paid (or change the name, "new new deal" maybe?). But YOU should be worried. You stand to be hit much harder than those in the higher tax bracket or those on benefits (always been the case with the tories). -
^^ No failure, adeer. LA is still in our hands. The others will happily come (mark my words). The rest, like I told you already, is nothing to worry about. Kaalay ila muraan when there is a political wing (never mind a military one). Afar ciyaal calan la so cararay is only profound to you, saaxib.

^^ That's just politics talk. When it comes to it they will have to relent and cut their cuts then cut them again. My real worry is with those that stand to lose jobs. As for earning their daily bread. How will they do that in a time of recession? Surely you know how this game works. Working people will be laid off. They will be back in the market looking for jobs. Their experience and history of employment will make them much more employable than someone who has been on benefits for the past six months (never mind years). And, remember, there will not be that many jobs to go around. So what next? -
^^ Like I said, it's mere morsels. You keep looking for random flags in Borama, saaxib. My eyes are looking in a totally different direction, I'm trying to sell that SL flag to the SSC folks.

It's almost as if he's Somali. (that sentence of yours could have been said about Sheikh Sharif, Faroole, etc, etc).

^^ You mean the wishful thinking part? Dee so anigee idhi waan kuu daayaay?

^^ There are lots of Somalis working in the Public Sector. These cuts are more likely to make many of them unemployed. As for getting jobs, how could they when the market will be flooded with job applicants? Wax fahan. -
Originally posted by xiinfaniin: One knew democracy and freedom of expression were mere slogans intended for the consumption of outside world…it never existed. But the real take away of this move is that despite twenty years of uninterrupted indoctrination, and with population where sixty percent of it is represented by a demographic that grew up with the said indoctrination, the secessionist ideologues in the north have indeed failed. If the admin is still struggling to do away the blue flag in the current political void in the south due to the absence of a strong Somali state, picture what would happen when a Somali government with all its political machinations are in place to influence the political affairs in Somaliland. Ceeb. Ceeb adeer. The democracy thing is not a mere slogan. It is a fact that annoyed the hell out of you when it took place. Naga daa dee, nin ween baad tahay, xaqqa waa la qirta saaxib. As for all this flag business and the 'indoctoranation', it is all the straws you and those with hopes of a greater Somalia can clutch at. I wont begrudge you such tiny morseles. GT, Norf recognises Siilaanyo as his adeer, I don't. As the time honoured Somali tradition dictates, I shall only come to the defence of wasiirka macdanta (waryaa Jb, so wasiirka macdanta muu aheen kii adeerka ii aha? ). Madax weenaha iyo wasiirada kale Ayoub, Suldaanka iyo Norf ayaa ka mas'ool.

^^ They'll still lose at the Lane. Inter were cruising by the time Bale scored his three.

^^ Dee ma aniga mise kuwa meesha haysta? Anigu maca kuwaan la xidhay ma baan xidhi laheen. Warning ayaa ku filan. Xiddigo is to Boorama is what I am to Kismaayo, saaxib. Wax walba miyaa la rumaystaa dee?

Good news.

Nothing at all. Now that is the Freedom of Expression right there for you. But if after burning the SL flag you stick your hand in your back pocket and take out a Somalia flag, the whole ball game changes. The first was a form of expression, the second an incitement to treason.

^^ But of course, isn't that the wole idea of a country? Saaxib, i maqaal, waxaan khaatyaan ka jooga qaar halkan aan kubbada bari kari waayay, marka hadaan siyaasada na ku daro dee man skool iska furto.

^^ I know what I say, saaxib. Don't compound your poor understanding of football with poor comprehension.

^^ Never said Alonso was not a great player. I am not you, saaxib. I understand football dee. P.S. Alonso, Ozil and Kadira are playing great football (along with all the other forwards) but Real's real STEAL of the season (and best player so far) is a little known Portuguese named Ricardo Alberto Silveira de Carvalho. They conceded only three goals so far and have been scoring for fun. Who says Jose does not do entertaining football? P.S. Lucas is still a good player. I now use him to judge people's understanding of football.

^^ Someone that (funnily enough) was called Passingby. I think they got banned and their posts deleted.

^^ That one is setting himself up for a nice fall (he currently manages Ipswich).

^^ Dee that's what he does in every game. Covers the backsides of the hopeless fullbacks. Anyway, forget this. Liverpool (according to me) may bid for a new striker (and he's scouse). Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that striker Wayne Rooney wants to leave Manchester United. The Old Trafford boss admitted he was "shocked" and "disappointed" to hear the news but said he had not fallen out with the England international. Ferguson says he hopes the 26-year-old changes his mind and remains at the club he joined from Everton in 2004. Rooney's contract with the Premier League giants is due to end at the end of the 2011/12 season. From BBC.com
