  1. ^^ Yes but if you have been paying attention, I too was saying that Arsenal will come back. Your problem was the full backs and when Sagna returned (and Gibbs to a certian extent) the results started to pick up. p.s. There is nothing to 'adkayso' about LFC. I am happy with our progress and we are playing beautiful football. The results will come insha allah.
  2. ^^ Hi Val, how is your German doing these days? Are you becoming fluent or are you as bad as nuune & Norf (with the swahili and Arabic respectivly)?
  3. I need Alpha & Jacaylbaro’s expert opinion here. I am planning to visit SL again. But, this time, I want to make a YouTube documentary about the everyday people of H Town. The idea I have is about setting up a booth (or even a tent) somewhere public, where I invite people to come in and share with me their most amazing, funny and interesting stories for a Dollar. I am willing to spend a hundred dollars speaking to a hundred different people and seeing what I’ll get in the end (100 stories I hope). Knowing people’s nature, I reckon the first hundred dollars is all I’ll have to spend and after that I could manage to persuade the well off people to volunteer their stories for free. What do you think, is it a goer? Will someone sell me a story for a dollar?

I didn't get up to anything in years, saaxib. YEARS! A&T on the other hand talks the talk but (luckily for his three wives) he has a leg injury these days.
  5. ^^ I agree. Lakin he got you in this one. Marka, o qir, hadalka ka gur and when you see a hole in his words, hit him with all you've got.
  6. *Blessed;809739 wrote: LOL. Ng. I'm not sure that being too eager is a dead give away, that seems to be a trait of hablaha yaryar qaarkood baryahan. LooL at these stories, men are weird. SMH. Haaa. Lakin hablaha yar yar whilst being eager are also very open with information "hoyo said.....", "saxiibaday oday bay la socota..", "I HATE MEN..", etc, etc..Men pretending to be girls can never replicate such innocence.
  7. Bob, Somalinet is good for some open madness. Sometimes their crazy ways get you thinking (though I have not been there for a while). ********** is full of children and I worry I might bump into a niece or nephew there. Anyway, for the topic of net shukaansi and love, I think we should all revist A&T classic thread here: http://www.somaliaonline.com/community/showthread.php/1676-Somali-Love-in-the-age-of-the-Internet-–-the-role-of-Interpreters Hadaawtoo yaano odhan NGONGE does not remember his stuff.
  8. Only when there was a risk of losing his job did Sharif finally wake up and start acting like a president (even when leading the prayers in the fuenral of his predecessor). Someone is giving this geography teacher some good advice.
  9. ^^ Adigu 'congrats' uun ku jir. War meesha ka kac oo Borama aad dee.
  10. ^^ Those Ottawa Somalilanders are too noisey, man. I bet they're the same group that sent that letter of support to the SL army when the Buhoodle thing started earlier in the year. Someone needs to remind them that the country has its own elected government and that qurbajoog should mind their own business here.
  11. ^^ LFC was established in 1892, saaxib. A full one hundred and one years before SL. Wax fahan. Alpha, you sound like ones of my kids. :D
  12. *Blessed;809709 wrote: ^How do you manage to sniff em out, NG? Heh@childish. Thank God for that, inaadeer@ Alpha. These are the 'new' generation of trolls, ayaayo. But in my days, when I was young and single (before texts, video cameras and voice chat), we often had the misfortune of chatting up men that went by the names Cookie, Pretty In Pink and Miss Cutie. They were either too eager (like the example above) or too stiff to be anything remotly approaching a female. "Caadi iska dhig" Should be the welcome message at the gates of SOL.
  13. ^^ The girl in the picture might have beard but she's still a girl. Shame you can't claim the same warya!

  15. ^^ Welcome back, saaxib. May we always live in good times insha allah.
  16. ^^ Can't imagine Al Shabab would oppose any of these games. But, of course, I don't think they'll be happy with such shorts. p.s. I once heard a rumour that Hizbuallah had banned eggs for being the result of an illegal union. Wonder if there are any such rumours about Al Shabab!
  17. Someone please tell MMA that Bashir Goth is a backward Somali like him and does not qualify to be a ciyaal caseer. Thanks. As for the topic, sounds like Bashir is thinking aloud again. The article seems forced and very hurried.
  18. Legend of Zu;809558 wrote: Seriously there is something fundamentally wrong with the current Liverpool players and who the LFC club transfer strategy. Why does anyone blame Arsene for not buying while Liverpool is wasting $100million on average players? Again, these "average" players beat you in London and outplayed you in Liverpool (even though you stole the game). I don't understand why you keep calling them average when the games clearly show that they are anything but that. Yes, we have struggled for results but, NO, we have not played average or rubbish football. Something is not connecting but we are still a very good team and we shall rise again. Of course, it does not help that Kenny has given up already and is starting to bring the kids in now. p.s. Arsenal won seven in a row and all their glory hunting fans are back in full voice (even Norf). :D
  19. Good stuff. Well done to mother and baby. Congratulations to the dad.
  20. ^^ Farole has the title of 'Dr', saaxib. Reading and writing help one gain more knowledge but when you're 100 years old, your experience counts for much more than that. Besides, this old man is not the be all and end all in SL affairs.
  21. From all the SOL characters Ngonge is the most curious one. Sure there a unique and more exciting characters like Abtigiis, Oodweyne, XX, Duke, Che, MMA, Xiinfaniin, jB. But atleast we know where they stand in the world and in politics. They are Somalilanders, Unionist, Puntlanders, Al Shabaabist, Khatumite's, Socialist, islamist, pan afrikanist, clannist or simply sijui's by heart and ideology. Or a combination. No we don't. The only two we are sure of are the Somalilanders and the Khaatumo supporters. The rest change with the seasons, no matter what they pretend to support this week. As for me; if you didn't work me out already, you never will saaxib.
  22. I'd rather an old man than an excitable kid.
