  1. Interesting now Atam is negotiating with those he has labeled as "Shahada la Dirir" or those against the Muslim declaration of faith. The man is clearly well known - fearful to show his face even once in public, which is unheard of in Somalia. He’s a man that admits the only way to fight Puntland forces are through hit and run tactics. Regardless Puntland needs peace, just like I have given examples IRA vs British, Taliban vs Karzai or even U.S vs Al Sadr. Puntland is no different, it’s better too look at the bigger picture. Good news!
  2. The former administration [of President H.E. Mohamud Muse Hersi, 2005-2009] began the constitution review process and a revised constitution which mandated five-year terms for President and Parliament was passed by the Council of Ministers in 2008, awaiting parliamentary ratification,” the President added. Excuse me? It's suppose to be a 4 year term. Typo?
  3. Faroole is not directly negotiating with Atam, members of his government are no doubt negotiating with him (which has been going on for a long time). Just like you see in Afghanistan with Karzai or back in the day with the British and the IRA. Sheikh Atam had his assest frozen and the U.S and UN has implicated him with assisting Al Shabaab. Those are facts, not the made up news that you report that SSC leaders homes are being search in the U.S even after these same leaders receive huge welcomings at Ohio's airport. Althought I don't find Galgala news to be reliable - negotiating peace with Atam or any enemies is a good thing. Hopefully Atam will not be terrified and will show his face for the first time.
  4. Of course you never heard about the fighting in Burco riiiight, i guess nwsomalia.org (Siilaanyo supporters) is making it up! I like this thread Xaaji and I also like that you contribute to Somaliaonline. Because the day I see secessionists avoiding things associated with Somalia, is the day I start believing they are serious about independence.
  5. your topic should be concerned with the tribal fighting taking place in Burco, where people are butchering each other.
  6. Xaaji Xunjuf;734525 wrote: Farmara how does that logic work you say i should not talk about Somalia because its not my country fair enough, than how come Yoweri musevani and the tanzanian ambassador daily talks about it do they belong to the Somalis you love? Because their assistance has been specefically requested by Somalia's leaders. As well, remember that UN Rep. Augustine Mahiga is the UN ambassador to Somalia and regularly visits Hargeysa as part of his job administering Somalia.
  7. Secessionists are so quick to write about Puntland killings, but never themselves??? In Burco, they are butchering each other! You know secessionist media usually hide crimes like this, or blame it on the "mad man" or "family disputes." In this case however it must be extremely bad. ------------ Taliyaha Booliska Tog-dheer Oo Ka Hadlay Dilal ka dhacay Magaalada Burco http://www.somaliland.org/2011/07/15/taliyaha-booliska-tog-dheer-oo-ka-hadlay-dilal-ka-dhacay-magaalada-burco/ July 15th, 2011 Comments Off Burco (Somaliland.Org):- Taliyaha qaybta Ciidanka Booliska ee Gobolka Tog-dheer Saleebaan Ducaale Ubaxle (Dhega cadde) ayaa markii u horraysay ka hadlay dilalka oo beryahan dambe ku soo badanayay Magaalada Burco kuwaasi oo loo adeegsanayay Toorriyo. 8. Right Xaaji, but your story about FBI agents is credible right?
  9. AfricaOwn;734219 wrote: ^ You're still running around with the fake photo-shopped picture from garowe website of SL health minister sitting with Somalia's health Minister. You sit there copy and pasting fake pics. Not even one of your secessionist websites will question the picture. This is why Oodweyne is the only rational secessionist on here, as he wouldnt even bother using the photoshop excuse! Xaaji, Provide us with one western website that backs up this nonesense thread.
  10. Did you look at the article? The person that posted it only gives their first name. Regardless you want us to believe that someone Waaheen was able to break this story before any other media outlet? Xaaji, until something credible comes out, this is not to believed.
  11. Is there any credible sites that will verify this information? Atleast one western source and not one like this that is written by a guy high on khat.
  12. Really it was your so-called national army? So when your last leader visited Lascaanod, and was chased out by Habsaade, why couldn't your militia protect him?? Then weeks after Habsaade is fired from Puntland, he allows your enclave in. The SSC has proven what your militia are.
  13. Xaaji Xunjuf;734110 wrote: The thing is Somaliland makes its own decisions like every other independent State it does not need approval from the Hotel government in vila Amisom. So explain to me Xaaji why your health minister was part of a delegation representing Somalia, where the TFG Health Minister was the chief delegate? Is that something an indepenent so-called government does?
  14. All the smoke and mirriors display of so-called soldiers. However back in September when 300 ONLF fighters landed on the shores and cut right through untouched where were these guys?
  15. I agree Jacpher, It's just another outsider giving us his opinion on an issue he knows nothing about. Like he has a right to say what exists and what doesn't or who is functioning and who is not. The article - like so many other outside-forces - is meant to divide us. It's the old colonial strategy. I only listened to his outsider opinion on AY, because it differs from what his enemies in Somalia try say. Even the mere mention of his name, brings out the wrath of his enemies.
  16. Suldaanka;733887 wrote: ^The keyword is "strong-arm tactics" of the former warlord. i.e. bulldozing any opposition within Puntland and killing traditional leaders at point blank with no questions asked. That is vindication for you. Those tactics might have worked in Puntland, but they backfired at him in Mogadishu where even the Amhara tanks couldn't save him from his demise. His strong armed tactics had no piracy, we can agree on that right? Or kidnapping right? Maybe he chased Riyaale out of Lascaanod, however the problems we see now, weren't occurring before....can we agree on this? Because of what Puntland was then and now, AY is slowly being vindicated!
  17. Meanwhile, Puntland should be given incentives to root out corruption and enhance the rule of law. Assistance should be offered to help build its institutions and professionalize its security apparatus. Whether it declares full independence or someday forms a state with southern Somalia is Puntland's decision to make. Exactly why no country or governing body will bother recognizing any tribal enclaves, because if the author feels area's can just declare independence then we will be seeing a lot of little somali lands breaking up. Puntland initially flirted with democracy, but it has moved toward a more authoritarian model. Puntland's first president was Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed. Though criticized for his strong-arm tactics, he strengthened the state apparatus and helped build institutions. However, he soon became focused on leveraging his position to become the head of the TFG, and Puntland started to languish. It's interesting how history vindicates the just! Regardless of what people dislike and spread lies about AY - for tribal reasons. We saw the receptions he received in Europe and else where when president of Somalia and as this articles shows his legacy is being acknowledged; particularly outside of Somalia.
  18. Somalina :D excellent observation! Why are the top left corner of other (real) flags facing down, but not the secessionist one?
  19. MoonLight1;733710 wrote: Who said Faroole wasn't there.lol LOOOOOOOOOOL, The secessionsists must be fuming!! Their so called flag was supposedly hoisted, however the president receives no reception and a cell phone pic with real leaders.
  20. Oodweyne;733465 wrote: ^^ :D So, Einstein, pray tell us, what on earth do you have to show for twenty years of Somaliland's failure in here? Particularly, in so far as Somalia is concern. After, all, you could be having a "brain-wave", in which we could do with it's potency in here; when it comes to setting us right in here. Could it be possible, that, try as you might, the only achievable ( of the kind that is news-worthy ) in which Somalia (including pirate-land) has achieved that almost full-score of time, is essentially the twin evils of "Piracy" on one hand, and "Jihadism" on the other hand; as well as in a deadly combination, as the last third option, in certain part of Somalia. And, still, you have the bare-cheek to talk about other's political failures. Do you know why people stop taking seriously your kind of endless yelp around here of SOL , long time ago,... ******* Interesting, because you are an instigator with endless personal comments, however once you are confronted with someone who is willing stoop to your immature level, you are the first to run to the Admin and complain. My comments towards secessionism in Somalia are my own opinions. If you are going to take it personal then you should stay away from politics section! Back to the topic, secessionists claim their enclave has many accomplishments, true, no one can deny. However, one dominant family breaking away their triangle from the rest would most definitely work else where. However the rest of Somalia refuses to go that route and would rather work out their differences.
  21. Xaaji Xunjuf;733448 wrote: Siilaanyo standing with the other spectators and media.......lol, I guess the Leaders of real nations let him shake their hands and take pictures with cellphones, but then asked him to leave.
  22. This is a presidential welcoming...the arrival tellsl you who is considered legit is that Somalia's flag on the plane? This is a welcoming of a governor Is that the Kenyan flag?
  23. The man in the video is just expressing what most secessionists will never say in public, but feel in their hearts. This is why we call it family led triangle administration, where their leader hasn't travelled outside of it even once. However like I've said many times, Siilaanyo understand that ignoring Somalia is impossible. Whether he is trying to gain independence by moving closer to the TFG in hopes that like North Sudan, they will allow them to secede. Anywho, it's hilarious how the secessionists are living off of South Sudan's achievements because they have nothing to show for themselves. I.e. a single country in the last 20 years that will openly support them.
  24. I agree! Long live Somali land, from it's borders with Ethiopia, Djibouti and Kenya.
  25. Failed state huh? However your minister attends meetings under this "failed state." So if Somalia is a failed state what does it make your enclave if it chooses to be part of a delegation where the TFG health minister is the Chief delegate?
