  1. Again I believe Somalia will be eternally grateful to Turkish PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The notoriety he has brought to South Somalia’s devastating famine has been immense. So much so, that we are seeing other parts of Somalia and East Africa now wanting to donate to this catastrophe even though they knew of this for some time. Of course all aid is welcome and credit must be given to Turkish PM Erdogan for his visit to Mogadishu and UN Speech.
  2. Really, how many world leaders have visited Hargeysa??? That is what presidents do!
  3. Somalia;751489 wrote: He never left Ahmadinejad's speech. The Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister left for other reasons. At least be like others on this site which master the art of political hatred. Wait, I thought our PM debunked that claim and stated that he never left the speech?
  4. Secessionists seem to be taking full advantage of the photo oppurtunity. I am certain Siilaanyo felt that if he secretly enters the town, gets a picture taken and then quickly exits, he will be able to use this for PR. Which I have to admit he has every right to do! But I wonder, if Siilaanyo visits shows that his enclave is safe then I wonder what the trip President Faroole, the Turkish PM and others who visited Mogadishu recently says about that city? Because they all annouced their visit before hand and stayed longer. The one question every single NW Somali will ignore is where are Laascaanood's inhabitants when Siilaanyo visited? No doubt Secessionists will ignore this question. But I guarantee you that the international community can clearly see it.

All talk, no walk. All talk? Lol, so why did Siilaanyo hide his trip to Lascaanood, not one mention about it. Not even by his somaliaonline liasons's Xaaji and JB. We only heard about it once he was in and out of the city. Obviously he was worried about something or he would have spent at least one night in the city. He arrived secretly and more importantly left very quickly.
  6. This NW Somali information minister was on Puntlands payroll! More shocking is that he supported the attack on your last leader Riyaale. Like it has been said, NW Somalia and Xaabsaade have been humiliated, only a small group of people came out, despite Laascaanood being a major city!
  7. I think this visit was a good thing for Somalia's unity. Especially for the international community to see. The secessionists hurt themselves again because the pictures show that Siilaanyo had more security and militia dressed in military uniforms than citizens of Laascaanood coming out and supporting. The Puntland government was smart to protest the surprise and quick visit, as it will bring more attention to how little support the Hargeysa admin has. Can you imagine if the streets were full with supporters? That would have clearly shown that the citizens agreed with secessionism. In simplest terms: where is everyone?
  8. Ok, Xaaji, sure that article is from before. Even though JB and you - who post anything - forgot to see it and the fact it has no date on it. Anyways, if you think this is a visit where the people got to see Siilaanyo, fine. Look at the pics you posted!
  9. Even the strongest secessionists supporter knows that the group of people that are in the pictures are extremely small. How can a major Somali city like this have such few people coming out to support their so-called leader? I always given credit where it is due. He hid this visit very well, no one knew about this. Not even the die-hard SOL secessionists or any other media outlets. I suspect this is one of the reason few people came out to.
  10. Come on Xaaji, You cannot honestly tell me that this trip wasn't a surprise. Even if you say he left the city and returned - which I don't believe. Look at the crowds Xaaji, 20 women cheering? Where is everyone? It's a big city. I have been to 2 cities on transit where I walk around the town between flights before flying out again. I don't considered those a trip or visit. Like I said, there was no mention about his trip before it happened, not from you or anyone. You know why the crowds are nothing? Because believe Xaabsaade could have brought out supporters. It's because they didn't want the SSC to find out in advance and they were scared of organized protests.
  11. That's not considered a visit. Hiding your trip there and leaving before anyone finds out is not a visit. He know's what would have happened had the SSC knew in advance he was coming. 1) There is a reason why he hid his trip 2) There is a reason why he left very quickly. 3) The crowds are very small for such an important and big city You know it Xaaji.
  12. Lol, that's the crowd that he generated? Is this even Lascaanod? I've been to the city and it has a population of tens of thousands of people. How long did Siilaanyo actually stay in the city? You could barely fit the group in a small room. Where is everyone?
  13. Jacaylbaro;750441 wrote: Somaliland President is in Gambadha sxb ,,,,,, and visited Lasanod Sorry, he visited or is visiting the city? How long was he there for?
  14. Come on now JB, you are the number 1 person that attacks photo's that don't make your secessionist government look good. I.e you are the only person that would claim the PL, TFG and NW Somalia health minister's representing Somalia at the WHO conference was photo shopped. You can't choose what positive photo's you want to believe and which ones you will deny!
  15. Somalia;750377 wrote: Not everything Raxanreeb says is a lie, they've gone anti-Puntland after the Garsoor operation but that doesn't mean it's not true. The trucks aren't going to be used for humanitarian purposes, but anti-piracy operations of the coast. It's just the truth. The arms embargo has been violated hundreds of times by everyone, no one even cares anymore. This isn't even a violation... Using shell companies, some of which the United Nations report links to Erik Prince, who founded the Blackwater Worldwide security company, Saracen secretly shipped military equipment — which the report says violated an arms embargo — into northern Somalia on cargo planes leaving from Uganda and the United Arab Emirates. Strange because the NY Times article that you quoted - as if it is the truth - states that the UN Monitoring group has deemed this a violation of the arms embargo. Do you understand, this Raxanreeb article is claiming that the Puntland government is violating international law. The government is not permitted (yet) to bring in military hardware like this. That is why the finance minister stated it is food and aid! The Raxanreeb article is not positive!
  16. Wasiirka maaliyada Puntlnad Dr.Faarax Cali Shire oo maanta shir saxaafadeed ku qabtay Xarunta Wasaarada maaliyadu ay ku leedahay gudaha dekedda magaalada Boosaaso ayaa ka warbixiyey xamuulka uu Markabkaasi sido , meesha uu ka keenay iyo weliba cidda iska leh. 17. Somalia;750315 wrote: I don't think you understand. Let me repeat, the trucks, will be used at bases on the coastline. Do you understand? These are new trucks, do you understand? I don't surf the internet for attention since New York Times already reports on these matters, but it must hurt seeing the progress of Puntland. I like your hating though. The article you are posting from raxanreeb states this " Mercenary trainers arrive in Puntland with military HARDWARE I am saying that the trucks are not military hardware, which could be a violation of Somalia's arms embargo. The trucks are aid and are loaded with food and medicine. Nothing about those trucks say "military" or even look military - regardless of what raxanreeb might say!
  18. Looool I guess the back of the trucks aren't carrying cargo right? The UAE is donating the trucks with nothing on the back of them and the tarps on the back of them are not covering any supplies? I know you are new to the site, but we show more class and maturity then insulting people. Furthermore, you started this thread with an article from raxanreeb. So do you actually believe that the image and the article from raxanreeb match? I get it, you are just trying to generate attention with these ridiculous posts........and sadly I gave you some.
  19. Looool sorry, this is a time to laugh. So the UAE would violate the arms embargo on Somalia so openly by posting their name on this "military" shipment right? Ok
  20. It seems not to long ago Raxanreeb was absolutely in love with President Faroole. So much so, that they named him 2010 man of the year. The above picture of Faroole was on Raxanreeb's home page since he was named man of the year almost a year ago and was only taken down after the fighting in Gaalkaayo took place. So Raxaanreeb supported President Faroole no matter what the circumstances a few months ago, however, now they feel their interests have been targeted and they've made a complete 180 degree turn which involves making up fake stories like this. Surprising how things can change so quickly.
  21. I am not the one of start many topics, however, Turkey - particularly its Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan - generosity should never be forgotten during Somalia's time of need. Not only allowing students in Somalia's major cities of Mogadishu, Hargeysa and Garowe further their education. But, has any other nation offered this kind of tangible help so quickly after such a terrible attack? ------ Turkey evacuates dozens of Somali blast victims MOGADISHU | Thu Oct 6, 2011 12:50pm BST (Reuters) - Turkey evacuated dozens of severely wounded blast victims from the Somali capital Mogadishu on Thursday, two days after a suicide bomber killed 72 people in the rebel al Shabaab group's deadliest attack since launching an insurgency in 2007. The truck bomb wounded more than 100 others, many of whom suffered severe burns and broken limbs, overwhelming the coastal city's ill-equipped hospitals. African peacekeepers said a lorry laden with drums of fuel rammed a checkpoint outside a checkpoint housing government ministries, where students had gathered to register for scholarships offered by Turkey. Keen to strengthen its relations with Africa, Turkey has ramped up its aid presence in famine-struck Somalia and promised major infrastructure projects in the capital. "Some of them are unconscious. These 36 victims are the first (to be evacuated) among those who are in a serious condition and can't be treated here in Mogadishu," Justice Minister Ahmed Ugas Bille told Reuters at the airport. They were expected to arrive in Turkey later on Thursday. Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan visited Somalia in August as part of his country's push to deepen its ties with Africa. The al Qaeda-allied rebels pulled most of their fighters out of Mogadishu in August but warned Somalis of further strikes on the city. "Al Shabaab's heinous attack in Mogadishu shows utter disregard for civilian life," Daniel Bekele, Africa director at Human Rights Watch, said in a statement.
  22. The key suspects are all those countries and entities that do not want to see a strong Federal Government formed in Somalia. The list is long but their are some that are at the top of it.
  23. JB, I hope you laugh as much in real life like you do in every post. Because in all seriousness that is definitely a excellent trait to have!
  24. No actually Bill Cliton named "Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya and Somalia" numerous times. The only time he mentioned NW Somalia is when he was thanking and quoting stats from the "Interional Medical Corps." If you look at the International Medical corps (IMC) website you can clearly see what they think of your enclave and that it is under Somalia. Somalia: Nutrition in Somaliland In Somaliland, International Medical Corps with support from UNICEF is implementing an emergency nutrition program in Sool and Sanaag regions to mitigate the effects of drought and improve the nutrition status of children under the age of five. Our local teams reach severely malnourished children with lifesaving nutrition interventions and pregnant and lactating mothers with micronutrient supplementation tablets. The program also includes health and nutrition education including emphasizing the importance of breastfeeding and healthy hygiene and sanitation practices. http://internationalmedicalcorps.org/page.aspx?pid=1391 Bill Clinton is reading from a paper with stats from the IMC (which considers NW Somalia as a part of Somalia) and he only named your enclave that one time but the other real countries more then once.
