  3. You keep forgeting under the federal charter all the states in somalia will rule themselves internally but will not under any circumstance cease to be part of Somalia. So i dont see what your argument is about. So i only offered what is on offer to them!
  4. Right people we can either talk the talk or walk the walk.I say we are the young who have the unfortunate task of rebuiding our nation.I have an idea how about we all share with each other our knowledge and maybe come upo with a plan.First things first how about we all tell each other what knowledge we posses for instance what is your expertise. This way we can liase and maybe form our own group of purely young fresh minded energetic teram of experts that the nation needs for rebuilding. So everyone Get your CV's out no need to mention personal stuff just your expertise so we can see can see our knowledge pool!!!!.C'mon guys no time for shyness. As for me my area of expertise is Finance

  9. What would you rather have Dharbaxo 40 little tiny nations instead of Somalia?.What good will that do and how sustainable are they going to be?.At least with this system in place we have an option which is let's take it and then mould it into something we are all happy with.Running away doesnt solve anything. That is the coward's way out.The brave thing is to takle the problem head on and solve it via peaceful negotiations.Even the clans within somaliland should be able to solve their issues within this framework.Bottom up is the only way.No one should impose un to others their system. Not happy with it?. do something about it without destroying the common goal of the greater Nation.Together we have a stronger ability economy wise, politicaly etc.Imagine 40 little states all along tribal borders.Imagine Awdal as a Nation how big an economy will it have and how serious will it be taken in the international stage. The same can be said to every division till you reach the One Somalia. That is where we can thrive.Think bro THINK THINK.Dont let emotions rule you on this issue you need to look at it objectively
  10. As for deciding and desperation.I've decided! desperation :I'll take what i can get and then mould it into what I want! even if that means Old Warlord!
  11. Well Rahima I am in London when are you due here?.

  18. Dharbaaxo Jin you forget that the mechanism for each clan to rule itself is already in place in the federal charter and all it needs is to implement it.This will be through the states that are either in place such as Somaliland and Puntland and other states that are now forming under the clan borders such as Jubaalaand and Midland Banaadir and Hiiraan. This should be the case. The President's job is at the federal level where each state sends it' representatives and there argue for an overall federal needs. He is responsible for overal representation of Somalia to the international community is responsible for the defence of our borders not i might add the local defence as this is the jobs of the presidents of the states. He cannot interfere with the local representations cannot appoint the state presidents only the local people can.Local police and courts come under the local states denying the federal government of opportunity to simply ask a court in a town somehere in the country to lock someone up.Why because the judges are appointed locally with the approval of the local people who will be paying his salary. He has to abide by the consitution of the country but so does the federal goverment. The local state presidents have to stand up for the people of the state as they are the ones who can either keep them in power or simply kick them out.As i said the mechanisms are already in place they simply need to be implemented. The baaa haaa of the media cloud the facts. The warmongers do not want the people to know least they accept and they do not get a lions share .We are pawns and we need to read up on the charter to know what is our rights.Local states will be able to address local problems on their own without the need for authority of the federal state such as change the law to meet the demands of the local state. An emergency taking place in Banaadir eg with regards to bandits night not be the case for say puntland or somaliland and that state(banaadir)can then make the necesaary changes to address that emergency.Another example is that the armed forces apart from the disaming process will not interfer with local security. This will come under local state National Gurd type forces under the command of the state president and only ordered by the state presidents unless the country is attacked by outside enemy at which point we are all at war. This is to deter the Federal government yet another power base to subjugate the local people as the last regime of Barre did all over the country.Read the charter Brother
  19. Yes bro it is good news for me personally it is yet another giant leap towards the reunification of my country and I CAN GO BACK!!!!!!
  20. Well it is clear who is shaking with fear and who is calm and confident Riyaale is so scared that all the people that he used to abuse such as SAMSAM Dualle and all the others during his reign of Terror as the henchman of Siyaad Barre will finally catch up to him.He knows he has no support in Somaliland and they will ditch him in an instant the moment they feel they have gotten out of him all that they could.Well i have one thing to say to him"Be scared be very Scared"!!!!!!!!!

  23. Puntlanders and Somalilanders: Do you care the casualties of your men and the destruction of your meager resources? Omar Dhollawaa Melbourne - Australia Tuesday, November 02 2004 It is unfortunate and shameful for you to enjoy and sometimes feel proud to see the human casualties and the destruction of your meager resources. It is my believe that Puntland and Somaliland should put every efforts to explore some kind of viable initiative to end or at least to rein the border dispute between two States –Puntland and Somaliland. The people of Puntland and Somaliland are neighbors who for a longtime enjoyed a very good relationship in the areas of trade and people to people contact. Now, more than ever before, undoubtedly, it is the interest of all sides to preserve and maintain a peaceful relationship. It is the two administration’s duty to redirect their meager resources to health, education and employment sectors than war efforts. Claiming and counter claiming of your casualties bears no benefit to either side but creating more orphans, widows and the grieving of mothers and fathers. If I may briefly touch the contentious issues between Puntland and Somaliland, the two parts have to rationally reconsider and re-evaluate the following two important matters that are the centre of your problem: First, given the facts that anywhere in Somalia, well before the colonial era, we, the Somalis particularly those in Northern part of Somalia (North West and North East) had known traditional demarcations. Every tribe knew his borders and his grazing territory, where his livestock go for grazing, so that a formal demarcation was there since we started to occupy in this part of the world. Nevertheless, it is a fact, that when the British came here for colonial adventure they made demarcations that fit their geopolitical interest but NOT for the interest of either ***** or Isak - the main inhabitants of this region. Similarly, none of them, the Isak or ***** , had born with the arrival of the British colony. Therefore, the Somalilanders have to recognize their pre-colonial existence, and the facts that they were here with their known territorial borders before the colonial powers. They should not use as a stick yard to measure this matter with the reference of the British’s divide and rule tactics in the Somali’s contemporary political map. Second, both Puntland and Somaliland leaders have to seriously address the behavior of the few but high profile Laasanood politicians and traditional leaders who are criss-crossing the borders between the capitals of the two States. These politicians are sending the wrong signal to all sides, and they have to find their home either in Garowe or Hargeisa not the capital that milk the most. Obviously, this will help to clear the suspicious clouds that hover over the political and social position of the people in question. In relation to the current border accident, as result of the claims and counter claims from both sides, very few of us in the diasporas may know who started the war, but whoever did this was on the wrong and committed crimes against humanity. However, one thing is certain in this war, despite the claims of the Somaliland politicians and news portals, the President of the Somali Federal Interim Government Abdullahi Yusuf Ahmed was not responsible on this war. Any logic and rational Somali politician knows that this war was Abdullahi’s last wish for many reasons. However, that doesn’t mean the present State government had not provoked or started the war indefinitely. However, on the contrary, Somalilanders may gain more to start the war to attract more attention and try to discredit their traditional foe – but all these remains to be known in the future for us – the diasporas. In conclusion, I would urge all the politicians, on both sides of the border, to be considerate and avoid politicizing the border issue and explore a different ways and means to end their differences. Similarly, I would like to remind the masses on both sides to realize that the politicians will not be the victims of the war but the orphans, widows, the grieving mothers and fathers that the war will produce.
