The president is right on this one. Kismayo is under his jurisdiction and its not upto Kenyans to decide who governs or not. He should consult with the people and based on his consultation should name the local admin. Later, communities can select or elect their provincial leaders but now its a matter of Somalia's sovereignty due to the presence of foreign troops. Raaskambooni movement are biting more than they can chew. Kismayo is contested city and are laid claim by many clans even reer Bay & Bakool claim it so its only wise we do not repeat same old mistakes whereby one clan think they own the city. That mentality did not succeed then and it will not succeed now. That itself says alot about who owns the city: all clans of Somalia a good reason why the matter should be left to the sovereign goverment of the day.

Hassan Sheikh Mohamoud is the man of the moment. May Allah make his job easy for him and make a righteous and just leader that Somali has been yearning for. Guys we need to sincrely make Dua for Somalia and our people Inshallah. Walllahi that's the best thing we can do and need doing very often. Let the truth be told,there's wide spread corruption in Puntland perpertrated by Faroole and sons. Puntland needs change and fast otherwise there will be no Puntland soon. People are being patient with these man and his sons for the sake of stability but patience is running out. Forget about taxes from the port, the admin receives regular levies from the oil companies and through projects aimed for curbing piracies but are all spent by Faroole's cronnies and corrupt officials. There are no checks and balances and he's getting autocratic by the day.
