Every group in Somalia is caught in the same endless cycle, only difference is some think they are doing better than others-if anything defines us as Somalis, it's the word stagnation. In our virtual world, SOL is testament to that. That is very true! I generally feel the same about all of them[somalis]. Endless cycles and catch 22's.
  2. Che You know I don't bother usual, a part of me wants to support and join the campaign for their legitimate concerns [there are a few] because life is precious even if one is lost, laakin they circulate around bulshid malayacin and put all the eggs in one basket carried by incompetent diaspora based men and they refuse to hold their own traitors to account. Even worse when this is pointed out, they go psycho and run off to post another song. I hate badly conducted campaigns.
  3. LOOOl @ Kenyans Jetlagged!!! Well done Mo, I'm so proud Arch- load it on youtube if you can. BBC iplayer does not work here
  4. Why is this even news? Title is an oxymoron though- feminist with a married man- I think NOT! May allah guide her and the child.

    Ssc vs snm

Looks like this kids needs to expire ASAP.
  6. Taleexi:- 1. Act like a civilized human- whats with all name calling and attacks- it doesn't help you or your people 2. You seem to think SSC battle is won on SOL- good luck with that but reality is what it is 3. You continue to defend your corrupt leaders, mismanagement of your small resources AND hijacking your own cause by continuously picking the wrong people to represent you and blaming everyone else while you sing and dance in the west. 5. Then you and your cheerleaders tell us you will WIN in this state and fight on both sides. Good luck- Lets hope that you are not here next yr, the one after and the foreseeable future still playing the blame game and blinded from your people selling their souls. As for Somali history, not that it can tell us anything about now- i.e. your men are probably lesser quality, less brave, less intelligent and less everything else [before you break your screen this goes for every clan] what it also attests is SSC leaders tendency to switch sides or manipulate both sides more than anything else. But of course you probably only read the bits about how great you are, the big, the brave, the strong, the son of there and here. I'm done- so good luck blinding yourself and expecting others to overlooking your divisions, indecisiveness, the lies, melodramatic posters and loud voices to your legitimate concerns buried behind all this Façade. Bottom line is when push comes to shove, people wont leave their comfort zone to defend [even verbally] people who are in that state, because no one wants to make a fool out of themselves when you change your mind tomorrow and decide PL is your brother, or maybe SL is paying better or maybe you need 3 sub SSC groups.
  7. SL is only part of the problem because they have opportunity, support and leverage from the said community. It is not rocket science that they exploit this because their own agenda is aligned with this;- they would be ****** not to;- the justification is; well some object, some dont, we chose to listen to and support those who are aligned with us. Pretty straight forward really. So what about Puntiland>? wrong move?
  8. Blame is a waste of time;- my policy is;- what do I need to do for me & when do I need to do;- this concept applies to interest groups too. If by your qabil you mean SL, then you can read my criticism of their heavy handedness and entertaining idoi*tic SSC leaders in other threads. Anyway seems you wanna act like a blind bat and continue the blame game, ha ku macanato, waad hosasinseya the SSC, till their struggle loses its human face. P.s. I resent the whole "for ONCE", but I shall let it go, for I'm sure for more than several reasons you closely identify with this matter. P.s.s. Re your last EDIT: it is not about RIGHT, it is about POLITICS, influences and interests, considering ONLF position you should know that. No one is going to help you unless you help yourself.
  9. There is no such thing as Dhulkooda, because there is no such thing as dhulkeyka. I already explained how people live those parts and I already explained that this is not primary school, I also told you that SL is not doing charity or helping them- they want to help their own policy and agenda. This is politics, wax fahaan, and their division is keeping them down, no one else. We already have blessed elders who at every turn looked out for the interest of the people who live here, it is a win win situation for them currently- and there was no need for them to isolate themselves within their own people. The grass is greener on this side. :D
  10. Kinda pointless admission Zack;- of course every clan is made up of individuals with different thoughts yad yad ya. But it is how much power these individuals that speak for you have in your area. In my home town[read sub clan], they were not really pro-SL for a long time, but out of respect for the bigger clan we [our elders] decided to sit it out [i.e. we did not have any political representations for my clan and see what happens in the next 10years. That was 15years ago, in the last 5years [the elders] decided it is in our interest to become active participants, so we put forward some representation. SSC wey nagu shibra waqleeyin;- They won't acknowledge it is their differences that is letting them down;- and for the most part it wouldn't bother me, but they make it a policy to always run around blaming everyone BUT themselves. They won't agree to be ruled, they wont agree on self rule, they wont agree to join SL or PL, nor do they have the power to enforce on each other the consensus. [Which by extension means they cannot enforce anything externally] The London protest had cards saying SSC is the only place where modern slavery still exist! how can the same people come with a begging bowel few months later? uuuuf
  11. The Zack;726134 wrote: Ibti, It is not as simple as you put it. The major division of the SSC clans is there for a reason. I am sure every clan would face that challenge if they were on these people's shoes. Geographically, they are located in the north but their fellow clanmates are on the other side. They are culturally and socially affiliated with your folks but politically, they are with the rest of somalis. It is just hard to mobilize that kind of society. Having said, majority of these people are on the same side, it is just not easy to put that in action. The Zack- life is never simple, laakin I disagree with you; the divisions are not the problem as such [they become a problem by extension] the problem is indecisiveness and lack of credible leadership. - As for indecisiveness:- it is what makes the London SSC leaders organize a demo against SL in protest in December and January, and then the same people in May demanding better allocation of resources and more seats for SSC in SL. WHAT? Who even does that? - Any credible leader would know if your goal was to leave SL on clan basis, then pis*sing off the PL people is not a smartest idea. Even if the government was bad and not sympathetic to their “struggle” they could’ve bypassed them and appeal directly to the mass [i.e. the clan they want] which I am sure would be receptive. Even worse the campaigners and supporters who follow them don’t correct them, wey iska daab socodan. I agree every clan has divisions and problems, but there needs to be hierarchy and kala dambeyin [who is the boss?]. And if a decision is reached it has to be for the long term and followed by all. Otherwise you are wasting your time and resources. Imagine if SL changed its mind every year about whether they want secession or not, imagine if changed their mind about SSC every few years flipping between wanting them and leaving them? Would anyone then say SL is serious about its intentions? Of course not and the place would’ve been unstable, each clan and subclan trying to find its own interest elsewhere. Every time you point a finger, there are several fingers pointing back at you;- SSC needs to get their shid together, no one is going to help them for charity or for clan[PL has made it clear enough] and all the pointing, signing, parties and noise has got them no where. There is always excuses, they either need to mobilize as a society and put this into action or let it go, but doing it halfheartedly is costing pointless struggle.
  12. Taleex:- First, I don't read Somali, so aside from you quoting me and the last two lines in English;- I don't know what point if any you tired to make, however for your last sentiment:- i.e. why can't SL leave us alone, why can't Puntiland leave us alone etc yad yad ya. SSC does not live in a vacuum or alone, it has to, even MUST get on with ONE if not BOTH of the entities or be strong enough to stand on its own- i.e. forceful respect like PL & SL relationship is progressing to now. Particularly if all the pro unity blabber is correct, otherwise it is just falseness as usual and the fake token. Anyone who says otherwise is deluded western with ideals that don't fly in the real world. Both entities will use these divisions to their advantage, after all they will look after their own interest and they are not your guards or guardian angel so they will do what is best for them. Y'll just need to stop blowing hot air online and control your people, control your leaders, control yourself. Rolling up into a ball and saying why can't everyone leave me alone while your people splitter into few more groups does not work. You want SL to leave you alone:- - Control your own foot soldiers- currently controlled by SL - Control your chiefs and garaads who flip flop on your interest on daily basis - Stop this nonsense of a new song each week and endless parties- do something actually useful- empty rhetoric will not make SL leave and songs are entertaining but largely ineffective- particularly as SSC inspired songs are always in Somali- and most Somalis already know the situation and don't care ENOUGH to do something about it now- or have other priorities. - Decide who to get rid of SL or PL and focus on it, you can't fight on two fronts. - Stop wasting your time vomiting and fighting on Somali forums. - Hire some smart educated people to help you, possible a none Somali or none SSC clan who can look beyond the blubber and emotional clan charged vomits to legitimate concerns AND can reflect them probably to others. No point doing the rest if you can't control your leaders or the foot soldiers. Of course you will ignore all this and just point and say she is that clan and yad yad ya everyone is out to get us, yad yad ya, new song yad yad ya, fundraiser yad yad ya, somali flags and Somali press release, leave us alone, we are clan X blah blah blah.
  13. Polanyi;725602 wrote: ^^ Your opinion is badil because you are biased.he he. I agree with you though; " SSC" betrayed themselves, not once, not twice, but a thousand times. Polanyi, everyone is biased by default, but bias and badil are not the same thing. Being badil would've been me saying, PL is telling the truth and this legitimize SL campaign. Pluz you agreed with me. AfricaOwn, somethings such as this dispute CANNOT be solved in the long term by military- it requires people working together one way or another.
  14. Like what? ma problem child baad nooqtey?

  16. The kid-less workers, tell them you have a cat and she requires you spend half term with her
  17. @Faheema;- eer you offered to work??? Are you alright?
  18. I guess Puntiland got tired of SSC aimless backwards and forward transition which extends to years. I say aimless because in 20years they have switched sides many times and their long term plan today makes senses to no one but them. You cannot say you are pro-Somalia yet unable to work with the two peaceful [compared to the rest] entities surrounding you. You cannot do anything for unity if your have conflict within your own ranks and you can’t get on with those surrounding you, then Xamar caano uu liis misid. As I always said, the leaders/elders are divided and dhinc loo raco la waya, all these years, they have achieved nothing, well aside from isolating their people, even from Puntiland. Getting labeled as terrorist just undermines what ever legitimate cause they had and without PL or SL fighting over them, the process the leaders have been milking for years becomes a dead end and they become irrelevant. Of course Somali politics moves fast and PL or SL could change their attitude and turn towards the old policy making these leaders and by extension SSC relevant.
