  1. The Ethiopian forces are there to help the TFG forces and since they were invited ( as you put it ) by Abdullahi Yusuf, they can not be an occupying force. No need to justify anything, it's a fact. We've had this discussion before, so I'll just quote myself. If being elected by the Somali people is what makes one the President of Somalia, that would disqualify many of our former leaders including the person who held the title the longest; Maxamed Sayid Bare(Aun). President Abdullahi was elected by the Parliament and like it or not, each member of the parliament represents a constituency/riding and they, my friend, represent the Somali people. You can say President Abdullahi isn't your president, but he is the President of Somalia. I believe President Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke(AUN) was the only elected leader of Somalia and even then people said the polls were rigged..So I guess Somalia has never had a leader then, eh? The only people who are destroying Somalia are those who have been holding the country hostage for the past 16 years. Walaaley, why continue to engage me if I'm a brainless/mindless individual? You know the saying.."Don't argue with a fool. The spectators can't tell the difference."
  2. Originally posted by Jaylaani: P.S. Yes there is genocide against all Somalis by Axmaaro inside of Mogadishu. When they finish with Xamar, other cities will be next including Garaawe. [/QB] Come on now, do you seriously believe that? Ethiopia had 16 years to take advantage of the situation in Somalia, why would they want to destroy the country and its citizens now that it has a government? These conspiracy theories are getting increasingly ridiculous..Do you honestly believe that it's Ethiopias intention to ethnically cleanse Somalia of all its citizens and later replace them with their own? I haven't viewed the pics and I don't plan on viewing them anytime soon. If the people in the pics are innocent civilians I pray for them and hope they get all the help they need, but if they were apart of the 'insurgency' or supported/helped the 'insurgents' in anyway I feel no sympathy for them.

    Shame!

Oh bleeding hearts! How do you know these people are innocent?
  4. Mystic; If the Ethiopians were invited by Abdullahi Yusuf, they aren't are 'foreign' military force, they are part of the Somali force. They fought the ICU alongside TFG troops and they are now fighting the 'insurgents' alongside TFG troops. Any battle they engage in is on behalf of the government. We're going in circles here, I've told you before and I'm going to tell you again..Maybe in your little world Abdullahi Yusuf isn't the President of Somalia, but the reality on the ground says otherwise. I support the TFG for qabil-reasons and you supported the ICU and (now) the 'insurgents' for qabil-reason. Fair enough? Jaylaani; Again, I have no opposition to Somalilanders sincerely giving help to these who need it, but many of you are trying to make this political. Go check out any Somaliland news-site and you'll see what I'm talking about.
  5. Jaylaani; I didn't say that. I don't agree with those who try to say that there's a genocide going on in Mogadishu. P.s.- I didn't view any of the pictures.
  6. Tone; Stop it with the elementary school tactics already. This is a discussion board, either contribute to the discussion or leave me be. I don't get why you keep quoting me and dropping meaningless one-liners.
  7. Everyone looks out for their own self-interest. It's in my interest to support the TFG, just like it was in your interest to support the ICU. Lucky for me, the TFG not only exists, but it's stronger than ever and it has the support of most Somalis. Yeah, a few Somalis are in opposition to the government, but there isn't any government that's received 100% backing from the people it represents. Keep crying "genocide" and let's see if the world pays attention .

    Shame!

  9. Mystic; Oh please, Aydiid is as much your uncle is Said Barre is mine. Don't make accusations if you're not ready for the same accusations to be levied against you. You keep repeating the same tired lines; do you ever have anything of substance to say? If Abdullahi Yusuf invited(as you put it) the Ethiopians into Somalia and he is the head of state, how can there be an occupation? Do you ever read what you type? Start making some sense. Fanisha; Aren't you from Somaliland? It's your belief that you aren't from Somalia proper, so this government doesn't represent you, right? I'm sorry but your support or opposition is pretty useless. Concern yourself with other things dear. Jaylaani; I have no problem with Somalilanders helping the displaced people in the south, but why make it political? Red Sea; Be sincere with your help; stop mentioning what happened in the 80s, all it does is stir up animosity between clans.
  10. Lol@were not born those days. Did you read the article? If you did, do you agree with the author? What is happening to 'Hawiyi clan' is reminiscent to what happened to the Somalilanders during Siyad Barre! [Culprits are the same people, same intentions but with different victims at different times in different places!] The policy Abdillahi Yussuf is engaged is echoing to the one his cousin Mr. Barre did which was: a) Obliterate the targeted community, then displace them as to replace them with their community, with their agenda! -"Displace to replace" a genocide in another face! It has to stop now and not later. One Somali tribe is 'evil' and all the rest are saintly, right?
  11. What in the world are you talking about? People.. stop acting like you were the only ones who were targeted by the late Presidents administration, all opposition forces were targeted. Did you even read the article before posting it? It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever read..Is this what passes for news in Somaliland? Displace-replace kulahaa..
  12. How am I suppose to know what your qabil is? I was talking about you alle-ubaahne the individual. You're a sexist qabilist part-time jihadist loony.. be gone.
  13. Some people try to pass off their dreams as facts. Wake up already. How many times has the President "died" or "fled the country" again?
  14. God forbid I end up with a man like you. No offence, but maybe you should take a break from SOL all together. Qabil + poor understanding of Islam = You .. Not a good combination.
  15. He'll die when his time comes, just like you'll die when yours comes. You can wish death upon him all you like, but unfortunately (for you) words don't kill.
  16. Hehe. I'm not going anywhere, get used to it.
  17. Where is Sh. Shariif "Let's go to Jihad but I'll hide in the bushs and eventually surrender" Ahmed again..Wasn't it somewhere in Yemen? Maybe you should consider moving there and he could be the President of whatever village he's living in. There's only one power in Somalia and that's the TFG. I hate to repeat myself, but the truth truly is a bitter pill to swallow. Take all the time you need, but the sooner you wakeup out of your daydream, the better.
  18. Taako-man, I expect her to come back with a clever response about how my uncles were/are the leaders of the government and how Aydiid was just a general. As if that absolves him of what he did. Alle-ubaahne, I think Abdullahi Yusufs record speaks for itself, Somalia is lucky to have him as her President. Under his leadership Puntland grew ten-folds and became one of the most prosperous ( if not the most prosperous) regions in Somalia. It's a shame, Somalis are so ungrateful. No, I'm not from Bacaadweyn nor is my family from there. Try a bit more north.. Bandar Baila to be exact. Edit: Nabadshe, For 16 years Somalilanders have used the events in the south as way to push their cause for recognition. Why do you care now? You'll do anything to derail this government, even if it means fanning the flames of another civil-war. Why would Prime Minister Geedi allow the genocide of his tribe? Why hasn't he said anything yet? You know why? Cuz there is no genocide occuring, so cut it out already.
  19. The truth is a bitter pill to swallow. The audio is fake, it's been shown in this very thread by Sergeant Sakhar, so please find something else to accuse the President of.
  20. 1. How can this be a clannish government if its members represent every clan/tribe in Somalia? Why not speak up when people were being rooted from their homes for the last 16 years? What do you mean by "a strife within"..Are you saying it's okay to stay silent when the clans of Mogadishu fight each other? What's the difference, people are dying in both instances. Be consistent. 2. Ahh, okay..So Somalilanders don't have a political agenda they're trying to push, right? But wait, if that's the case, why mention what happened in 80s and write articles that fan the flames of clan wars? Why not simply condemn what's going on in Mogadishu and ask that the Ethiopian's pull out? 3. See points 1 and 2.
  21. Please! Mogadishu has been in the pits of hell for 16 years now, the TFG is a force of change. Law and order will be returned to the world's most dangerous city no matter how long it takes.
  22. Mystic, If blood ties meant anything, I could say your Uncle Aydiid killed more people then my Uncles combined, but I'm not as silly as you are my dear. But wait, I thought Abdullahi Yusuf was a powerless "puppet".. how can he be responsible for what's happening in Mogadishu? Either he calls all the shots and is responsible for what's happening in Mogadishu or he's a mindless puppet who is absolved of all guilt. You can't have it both ways. Nabadshe, The joke is that Somalilanders suddenly care about the events that occur in the south. Very convenient.
  23. If Somalis can't live in peace and respect the land they inhabit, it's only right that they be replaced by others.
