  3. I guess you really can't write Somali, if that is the case all this nonsense should really sieze. I would also strongly advice that you dont claim to be a Somali, when your not. Perhapes, if I'm mistaken, you could simply be another case of Anwar Abdi (Cliffhanger) who has decided to use the internet as a form of communication to exploit his paranoid schizophrenia. http://www.geocities.com/adamcliffhanger , maybe you should contact him, he would really appreciate you.
  4. Iam Suprised Paltalk aka Man of freedom is not banned yet, his initial post should have been a signal, perhaps something on the lines of 'threats' to Somali's. Perhapes the golden rules, Anti-Islamic, Trolling and flamming may apply. Some of the admins double standards should really be addressed. Hmm...strange....
  5. Lol, i can't believe this went for so long, i have just completed reading the entire 14 pages. By the way Paltalk, I have a question for you, perhapes a request....If possible, can you please write us a small sentence in Somali. For a strange reason, I believe you are neither a Somali or a Muslim. Anyways, I hope you are still around, if not, it would be fine if your friend Man of Freedom can do this.
  6. Can you give us some solid prove that they were in fact taken from Somalia. These days alot of photos are flying around without any solid recognistion of their photographer or their source.
  7. Old man indeed Raqiid, old man indeed. On another note, don't you just find it pathetic, how Somali news websites convienently put their names on professionaly taken photos without the permission and license of thier respectfull owners. For example, HR - Horseednet etc. More can also be said about the watermark technique most of the use.
  8. He is defently getting better, I'm so proud.
  9. http://www.e-thepeople.org/ I have always been fascinated by this sites proficiency and resourcefulness for its visitors, maybe SOL should adopt some of it's technology, and improve on it. Perhaps we can jump start the Blue revolution online - The internet is indeed a powerfull tool, and we should exploit it, in a tractable notion.
  10. Seriously Yonis, i really would like to know where you continue to recieve these unfounded facts about Faroole and his corruption days, i believe you would have known that his father was a well known religous person in the nugal region. So we would appreciate it if you could sieze these defamatory notion as he is clearly not your uncle, and any tribal association does not carry any merit. If he really did have any money to bribe, we would have seen it on his family and close relatives that live in Melbourne, Australia. Somaliprides Regarding your comments, yes 'No faroole graffiti can be found on the walls of Garowe, because clearly if you lived there, the faroole family is quite a large number, and keeping that in mind alot of the young people enjoy putting them up on the walls. Not that they are targeting the old man himself. And about Terry Donnelly, he did infact take with him a number of Specialists from Australia with wheelchairs etc. But that doesn't excuse the fact that he didnt have his own agenda to begin with and that alone is the issue at hand. Here is a small enews info I got of Terry Donnell's business circle you would have to be a registered Member at http://www.factiva.com/ (Dow jones $ Reuters) to access it: but you can find it here: News and Information from Factiva - Lets be realistic, would you put the lifes of the next generation in jeapordy by intrusting your land on a company that is based in Maldives, but again has investors from Australia. Quite honestly we are not obtuse, we can find an alternative company to do business with. But sooner or later someone will have to leak the contract , maybe it will be me or maybe the government will have address the public about the agreement, and we will all see the shocking figures. However lets all be frank, the Presidents ambitions for Puntland is great, but surely he has to be accountable for his actions, if he doesn't take into account when given professional advice from within his government. Lets not forget Mr.Faroole intrusted his 15 votes from the last elections on to the President, he would't have done so if he didn't respect him. But then again thats why Faroole did not make a public announcement about this situation, surely he is waiting for the Presidents return and when he is in good health.
  11. What happen to you people, Yoonis i had some respect for you brother but now iam not really sure. The fact that you have Mr.Farole of being corrupt disgusts me my friend. I would have expect our bright minded young, would have always at all costs supported our educated leaders who have had clean records in thier past. Instead what i have realised here today is infact what everyone had always said. Indeed there is no hope for Somalia when tribe comes first. Corruption is a dangerous word to wave around without sound prove my friends. Regarding this current issue, from what i know this is the bottom line, first of all regarding the Maldives Company and the Gentlman Terry Donnelly. I'm not sure if you knew this, but Terry Donnelly (Kids in Need) who brought this company to Puntland, has infact appraoched Mr.Faroole first, However when he realised Kids in Need was just a disguise to get in business with the Govermnent, Faroole dismissed him immediately , hence Terry bouncing onto Mr.Gaabaab to pressure our ill President who was on flight to india for a serious surgery, i wonder what his state of mind was when he had signed the contracct. Anyway, regarding the vilifying case, Mr. Faroole has infact got a Masters in MBA and having read the contract he found evident ridiculous and daming stats which would have ultimatly exploted the land and its people. Thats why he had refused to sign it, not that he couldn't find something for himself, thats just plain ridiculous, anyone that knows him well, will tell you that he had would never do anything that moraly wrong. Did you know in the 1980's he was fired from the position of General Manager of the Somali Commercial Bank, because he refused to do Dictator Said Bare a favor that was moraly wrong. Mr Yoonis, if need be i can provide facts to back me up, but can you do the same when you said Faroole doesn't care about Puntalnd and he doesn't respect its people. And also when you said him vilifying Geedi. Lets face it, Faroole is not Khat chewing character who is in intoxicated when he is addressing the public or when working in public office for that matter. Maybe Khat eating Leaders shouldn't have a place in public office at all. Anyway sooner or later the truth will come out, and maybe thats what we should be advocating for, and yes soon you will all be reading the contract that our President had signed, and you will all see the royalites the government will be getting from every 1 tone of mineral shipped from the country and it wont be a pretty sight.
  12. Hey Conspiracy, uni break is coming up soon. I was thinking, maybe we should have a competition. For example an independent person who post a photo or some sort of a visual element, and we all try using our expertise to come up with a unique and graphically intence results. With the expection that we are restricted to a theme each time. What do you think, who else would be interested in participating?.
  13. Conspiracy your last trace would have to be the best one yet, I'm refering to the picture of the dead guy on the floor. I would suggest you experienment with Adobe Illustrator, the best Vector based program for designers in the industry today.
  14. Your kidding right Rahima?, are we really able to get the houses we left as refugees. Damn, well then the locals owe my family atleast 7 houses. Can't wait to return to Xamar and claim my dads lands, infacts all of my uncles aswell. Hopefully in the end the members of parliment from mogadishu will make a peaceful agreement with the rest of the goverment and were all able to come back. Thank you for the reassurence Rahima.

  17. Well this will defently be the last time i trust a blogger. Thanks for the heads up Sky. I knew i shouldnt have published it, i will have to write an apology to the viewers, and narrow down the regions to oga den area and some parts of somalia and eithobia
  18. Actually it was I that published it on Garoweonline, I'm yet to get a response from the original author at allsomali blog aswell as some information about the photographer. Keep in mind guys the photos are mainly from Sool and Sanaag aswell as near Hargeisa, also some of the landscapes are from Oga den region (strangly enough you cant write the name here in SOL).
  19. I just posted it on Garowe Online, I fell in love with these beautiful photos. I am just waiting for allsomalia blogster to reply back my message about the photographers info. Would love to talk to him.

  22. Keep in mind, Garowe Online archives all of thier news much more efficiently than of their counter-parts (news websites). Have a closer look at the Calender feature on the left section. Also, what about the somaliyouth.org website, looks nice doesn't it
