I have a friend whose family is from Mogadishu, he has built and bought properties there, the other day he came to me and said , he has planned and wanted to take his kids to Mogadishu, so they can learn dhaqanka but he has been troubled and his conscience is telling it is not right. I asked him ,why? he says, his district is one of the safest, with schools, mosques, shops, everything safe, and I asked what is the problem then. He says, everyone, including his family, in-laws, whole neighbourhoods pay,monthly rates ,tax to shabaab, about $20 per house, and it is normal like electricity bills He says , he does not want to do anything with evil murdering group. I know few Tigrays here, they only were worried abt Eritreans. AND months ago told if Eritreans leave, they can defeat Abiy easily. Also many Tigrays went back from overseas, and most importantly it looked to me they have know how, n very well organised.

The don’t even close the crime scenes, and some businesses operational within hours. The other major point of investigation, is shabaab taxing and collecting money, if government and well trained staff, softwares dig into transactions, many of the leaders can be caught.
