1. You hear a lot about ” Tawheedu Rubuubiya, and Ywaheedu uluuhiya” It is precisely there Trinity like idea of tawheed that has made the rest of the ummah to become outside of Islam (Asharis being the largest in the ummah).
2. Please merge this with the other thread. Thanks
3. When Lawrence of Arabia started his campaign against the Ottoman Caliphate, he used Wahabi ideology to defeat the Turks. It was difficult for the people of Najaf( modern day Saudi) to fight against the Muslim ruler of the Ottomans. Lawrence of Aabia said, ” I will pay him gold, who ever shoots an Ottoman Turk from the head”. In order to facilitate for the Arab subjects of the caliph to fight their own kind, Arab nationalism was not enough. so , the Wahabis with king , started a campaign to put these Muslims out of the Islamic circle. Just like the wars of Nationalism and tribalism, in order to kill somebody , you must dehumanize before legitimizing their murder. In the religious wars within Muslims, also , one must put the other outside the circle of Islam and accuse them of apostasy in order to shed their blood. The Wahabis, painted the Turks as illegitimate idol warshipers and corrupt foreigners who must be vanquished from Arabia. They made Fatwas proclaiming war to rid Arabia of Turks and their supporters. Eventually, the Wahabis, Arabists and the British, finished off the Islamic Caliphate after 1300 years. After the Ottomans were defeated by the British in 1920, after the first world war, the Arab monarchies were established in Saudi Arabia , Jordan, Iraq and Syria. That issue needs to be focused on here because to this day Salafis focus on other muslims precisely because they deem them to have become mushriks.

Nostalgia?

OldHead, what was your user name before?
5. So your commentary about the Saudis needs to be unbiased and balanced because it seems you are basing your analysis on Western prejudices against Saudi Arabia. I am confused as to which side you are on. Is Flip Flopping a new age style? Galbeedi, Did you just write 20pgs of your thoughts on here? Interesting read but I can't help wonder if you are joining the overall worldwide FAD of "Wahhabi bashing".
6. Ps: si dhaqsaa ku qoray wixii khalad ah ka raali noqo Saxib, Is that your disclaimer?
7. @DoctorKenney said: So now you want to complain about White people having a disproportionate power and influence? Are you freaking kidding me?! Of course they have more power and influence! What do you expect? You want to compare Somalis, who destroyed an entire country based on petty tribalism and an inability to cooperate, to the Germans for example? The Germans inherited a fractured and destroyed nation in 1945-1950. They lost World War 2, millions of their best soldiers were dead, and millions of civilians were dead. They had NO industry, no infrastructure, no military. The Germans were literally running outside just to use the toilet. Germany was a Third-World country in 1945-1950. Fast forward to 1975. Not only did Germany recover, but it was one of the richest nations in the world, with state-of-the-art infrastructure, globally renowned manufacturing companies, and world-class education. They made their own fortune . And Black people can do the same thing, if they stopped fuc**ing complaining about slavery/Jim Crow all the time. Be self-reliant Am I the only one on this forum who feels this way? Doesn't Mooge make threads showcasing how Puntland is being self-reliant and creating their own prosperity? If Puntland can do it, then what's preventing Black Americans from doing it? Culture is everything. Culture shapes success. Build your own industries. Build your own economy and then you won't need the "racist" White Man. The Koreans got the message, the Japanese got the message, the Chileans got the message, the Turks got the message, but for some reason you don't get that message. Have some self-respect. Stop begging him to accept you and love you. Accept yourself, love yourself, and you won't need his love and acceptance. DK, that was some rant saxib. You went off on a total tangent.
8. You should listen to what some Somali habaryars say about cadaan people or indiyaars. You’d be pretty appalled at what you hear. Racism goes both ways Racism is when a power imbalance is created based on Race and Ethnicity. Our mothers and aunties don't have the generational slavery generated wealth that Bill Bob (VP of the other two VPs across the hall) nor that power or influence.
9. DK,what does Cognitive Dissonance mean? Surely you do know what it means because you made the premise that the word Cogniive Dissonance has minimal if not no relation to the article. Otherwise, why spew such rhetoric?
10. Does anyone know what Cognitive Dissonance means? If so, what is it?
11. They weren’t even obligated to help Mr Duncan. Since Mr Duncan wasn’t an American citizen How could I forget Uncle Sam's Motto: Only American Citizens are Humans all else including Mexicans are Aliens. Not everything in life is about race. Please tell that line to 95% of the world that don't even make your hourly wage for a month's salary. Please tell that to Mexican mothers that can only find jobs as Cleaners. Please tell that to every Keisha and Ahmed that graduated from a Univeristy but can't get a damn entry level job in their field because there resumes are screened out based on their first names.
12. @Gheelle.T said: That said, the nurse who came down with the Ebola, Nina Pham is an Asian, so you may want to take the race card back into your back pocket, buddy. Do you think that "Nurses" are the decision makers in hospitals? Don't they always defer to "Doctors"? All nurses assist patients according to Doctors instructions i.e. Feeding patients pills, monitoring patient activity and aiding patients with such things as toiletary. Have you seen the demographics for Nurses? They are overwhelminglywomen and visibly miniorities (black, spanish, Vietnamese (the nurse you mentioned) etc. Do you have any idea about how resources are allocated in hospitals and people get hired? If a hospital is located in a lower class or heavily populated area by minorities, then that doctor or nurse from that hospital gets a subpar rating (e.g. B class doctors and nurses). Do you think that other doctors and nurses want to work in a hospital with a stigma because of its location? Race and xenophobia have everything to do with how this person got treated. Why else did a White Doctor from that same hospital get treatment and is now cured of Ebola while the "African" was left to die?
13. If approved by this council committee, Bosaso, Somalia, would be No. 12 on Minneapolis’ already long list of sister cities. How many sister cities can Minni have? lol
14. War is filled with deception and propaganda. How does anyone in Syria and Iraq have $1000 to buy captives?
15. @burahadeer Thanking thm thou for being nice to all refugees. Its the least they could do after hoarding most of the worlds resources and carving up Africa into doll headed states (colonization/post-colonization) and an annual salary for each African Leader (remind me why South Africans are still poor while All the mining companies pliage their land)
16. Alpha, please stop trolling and if itsn't Alpha, then the two of them must be from the same umblical cord (Alpha and Abdi Johnson).
17. Anyways if I were to suggest anything, it would be this: there is no “Islamic State” or caliphate so there is no one with any ligetamacy when it comes to Islamic law. Because of that, religion should be left to the individual like the Quran says lakum dinukum waliyadin but that’s just me. So you are advocating for a lifeless Islam. An Islam that has no value at all and is totally void of any worth or strength. A Secular Islam is what you want - right?
18. The man has now died and the reaction to any and all Africans is not good. It is racism propogated by the media. A media that are like Hyenas and feed of negativities and peoples' fears.
19. @Odey said: You have to take yourself serious before others do. With Qoslaaye at the helm, how can anyone take Somalia seriously? He is laughing all the time! Somalis sound like the people of موس.
20. You can't square a circle just because you like the square better than the circle.
21. @Alpha Blondy said: Pathetic Somalia. always the laughing stock of the world. If Somaliland is not even in the picture, then how can a Slander say a single word about World Rankings. Man-Child....funny name...
22. @DoctorKenney said: Obviously I was cheering for Ben Affleck! The point of the Hollywood machine was achieved with you. You proved my point.
23. @DoctorKenney said: No one was being “demonized” in the film at all, and the film was actually based on actual events. Things that actually happened. What do you really think that such an interesting story won’t make it to the Big Screen simply because it makes the 1979 Iranian Regime look bad? Here is a question for you: What side were you cheering for at the end of the movie? Did you find the Islamic Revolution ohave been portrayed in any "positive light"?
