  1. Sounds a lot more like a threat. I've always wondered why HAG, their elders, the president and most of his clansman share the same sentiment regarding the jubaland conundrum?
  2. When the inmates of Paradise would go to Paradise and the inmates of Hell would go to Hell, death would be called and it would be placed between Paradise and the Hell and then slaughtered and then the announcer would announce: ‘Inmates of Paradise, no death; Inmates of Hell-Fire, no death. 'And it would increase the delight of the inmates of Paradise and it would increase the grief of the inmates of Hell-Fire." (Sahih Muslim) The inmates of hell would prefer death than suffering the punishment of hell because of its intensity. Their sorrow will grow as the angel of death is killed because for them that means, no death, continuous suffering in hell which will never be lifted, neither by death nor by anything else. These are the people allah mentioned in surah Fatir, Verse 36(35:36) Where allah says the following: "And(as for) those who disbelieve, for them is the fire of hell; it shall not be finished with them entirely so that they should die, nor shall the chastisement thereof be lightened to them: even thus do we retribute every ungrateful one."
  3. Abu Huraira (radhiyulah canhu) reported Allah's Apostle (pbuh) said: "He who believes in Allah and the Hereafter, if he witnesses any matter he should talk in good terms about it or keep quiet. Act kindly towards woman, for woman is created from a rib, and the most crooked part of the rib is its top. If you attempt to straighten it, you will break it, and if you leave it, its crookedness will remain there. So act kindly towards women."
  4. The Arabs need to learn a thing or two from Iran. Faced with wide arrays of enemies who literally want her gone, Iran is handling it well. I wish them success and I wish that success reaches the sleeping muslim communities world wide.
  5. Somalis and their unexplained love for foreigners. Why do we have to come from other people? Can't we be Somalis; people who are Somalis and are indigenous to the land Somalia? BTW: DIssidentnation isn't credible source so be careful what you believe.

  7. "When a servant of Allah observes fasting for a day for the sake of Allah, he thereby repels the fire (of hell) a distance of seventy years" Al Bukhari &Muslim.
  8. Bismiliah: The importance of Salah is really something that can't be stressed enough. The prophet pbuh on numerous times said that connection with which a person establishes with allah is done so through prayer. Prayers that are executed slowly, and with kushu often times protect the person from falling into sins. The prophet pbuh said if a person leaves salah, then he's become unbeleiver. The first question asked dead people is about their prayers, and the first thing asked in judgement day is also about prayer. Fixing prayers can do so much good. In surah mudathir(74) Allah says Allah Most High says, the people in Hell will be asked "What caused you to enter Hell-fire?" They will say: "We were not among those who prayed, nor did we feed the needy. We used to engage in vain discourse with the vain-talkers, and we used to deny the Day of Judgment, until there came to us that which is certain (i.e.. Allah's judgment)." Then no intercession by an intercessors will benefit them. (Quran 74:42-48) The prophet pbuh said : "The covenant between us and them (believers and unbelievers) is prayers, so if anyone abandons it he has become an infidel." (Ahmad, Ibn Majah, Abu Dawood, Nisai, Tirmidhi). The prophet also said "What lies between a man and infidelity is the abandonment of prayer." (Muslim)
  9. If we could tell a person's clan just by looking at him/her, then would the question "yaa tahay" ever be invented? I don't think so. I can guess from what a region a person came by their speech. And then from there I can guess what clan that person belongs to. However, I don't think there's a clan look. Are there a clan dhaqan though? Now that'd be interesting. Are there certain behaviors/acts that are exclusive to some clans?
  10. Saheeh Bukhari Narated By Abu Huraira : I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "If there was a river at the door of anyone of you and he took a bath in it five times a day would you notice any dirt on him?" They said, "Not a trace of dirt would be left." The Prophet added, "That is the example of the five prayers with which Allah blots out (annuls) evil deeds."
  11. Umada soomaaliyeed rafaad iyo baahi noocya badan leh baa haysata. Maantaa waxay ahayd in la wada fariisto oona lawada shaqeeyo si xal iyo baahitir lagu gaari lahaa. 12. You are welcome bro. May allah increase our iman and accept our duas prayers.
  13. Bismiliah: Assalamu alaykum to you all. I don't know if a thread by this name already exists but I thought it would be a good idea to take advantage of the time we have here. Allah says in Surah Al-Jumua, Verse 9: O you who believe! when the call is made for prayer on Friday, then hasten to the remembrance of Allah and leave off trading; that is better for you, if you know. (English - Shakir) via iQuran The prophet pbuh on the importance of juma. It is related from Salman al-Farisi that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "When a man has a ghusl on the day of Jumu'a, making himself as pure as possible, uses his hair oil or puts on any perfume he has in his house, then goes out and does not split up two people, and then prays what is prescribed for him and is silent while the Imam speaks, he is forgiven everything between then and the previous Jumu'a." saheeh Bukhari Walaykumu salam.
  14. When it comes to dealing with arms I dont think you can call the somalis ill trained. However, They lack discipline which is just as essential. This is a wonderful news. May Somalia return more peacfull inshallah.
  15. Regardless of whether this is true or not, what will the writer achieve out it?
  16. Thank you for posting this, xaaji. I wonder why atheists spend so much time refuting religions from which they have chosen to leave? If you are so convinced that you are right and we are wrong then what have you got to prove? I think most atheists are doubtful of their belief, hence why they constantly fish for reassurences.
  17. Some years ago, there was a similar story circulating around. A Somali boy born in the emirates was diagnosed with brain tumor. They refused to cover the expenses of the operation which was the only way to cure him and they did so because he wasn't a citizen. 18. Quite sad as mentioned by Abwaan. We may share religion with the Arabs but they are more backward and primitive than the gaalo we live with. I've heard they deny documents to people born there granted that they aren't Arabs.
  19. Splendid news! How many western countries currently operate in Somalia?
  20. Wrong thread apophis, unless of course you agree with what I've said above. Apophis;907313 wrote: Is this a religious or a philosophical discussion?
  21. Bismilah. Assalamu alaykum brothers and sisters. I hope you and your families are healthy and happy. Today's subject is quite clear from the title, and perhaps, it's the only subject which is universally consented. People across the world may have difference in politics, religion, cultures and so forth, but all agree one true fact, a fact that every single human will experience, a fact that many know but for which only few prepare, an inevitable fact, the fact is the reality of death. Allah said in the Quran "21:35 Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. to Us must ye return." Allah says in another surah "When their specified time arrives, they cannot delay it for a single hour nor can they bring it forward," (16:61) The prophet s.a.w was quoted saying the following "Remember the thing that cuts off pleasure, death" At Tirmidhi Another famous hadith: Abu Hurayra reported the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Race to good actions as fast as you can. What are you waiting for except delayed poverty, oppressive wealth, debilitating illness, dottering senility, a swift death or the Dajjal? Or are you waiting for an unseen evil, or the Last Hour? The Last Hour will be most bitter " We know it's coming so what are we doing to prepare ourselves?

  23. Odayga shaikh ha ahaado amabase yuusan ahaan laakiin waxaan marnaba laga murmayn inuu wadanka somalia iyo dadka somalidaba u soo halgamay. dadka qaar qabyaalad baa indhaha tirtay. qabiil nacayb bay nin boqol sano mayd ah ku caayayaan. walle waa yaab. Aniga waxaan layaabay hadaad somaliyo dhan waydiiso waxay ku leeyihiin odayga halgan buu ahaa oo xoriyada dadka soomaali iyo la dagaalanka gaalo buu dhawr iyo labaatan sano hayay ilaa aad ka gaarto gobolda waqooyi. Strange how their version of history conflicts with everyone else'.
