1. MashaAllah. I've met this man before too. Very eloquent and very intelligent man
2. @Tallaabo said: So Dr Ken, now you are a certified ethnicity warrior? :-D Saaxib, I'm not. I just don't appreciate how some Somalis try to erase the unique cultural/genetic differences between Somalis and other groups. It'd be as absurd as someone claiming that "Indians and Chinese are the same, since they both share a border and they're both located in Asia." It's madness saaxib. Sometimes common sense is just not so common. Nothing I said here was a lie, it's all 100% verifiable truth.
3. Samiig is the type to hold a Norwegian passport and fool himself into thinking he's an actual Norwegian. He confuses nationality with ethnicity. Samiig you are not a Kenyan. You are a Somali who just so happens to live in Kenya, so stop groveling to these Kikuyu and Luo people who have a long history of mistreating Somalis. You cannot call these Kikuyu people your brothers when you don't even share a language, history, religion, culture or genetic phenotype with them. Look at the genetic map I just posted. And look at how Somalia is classified with Ethiopia and the rest of North Africa when it comes to our DNA classifications. This is something which Somalis need to understand. The Kenyan Bantus understand this fact very well, as well as the Habashis, the Berbers, and other groups.
4. That's B.S. and you know it's B.S. We share no genetic similarities with these Kenyan Bantus at all. In fact, we are more closely related to Oromos, Afars, Berbers, and other North Africans. Stop trying to "Bantu-ize" our country. It won't work. These Kenyans are largely not Muslim, don't share our culture or language, and we have never had a common bond with them throughout our history. Medieval Somalis had relations and friendships with the Arabs, the Berbers, and the Ottoman Turks. This is a fact and there's nothing you can say that can change this fact. And we Somalis should be grateful for the Kenyans, despite the fact that the Kenyans/Ethiopians helped prolong the civil war by arming different warlords? We should be grateful for them when they occupy a portion of Somalia (The NFD) which is the size of Portugal? We should be grateful to them because they attempt to steal Somalia's waters and annex further portions of our territory? Are you kidding me?
5. @samiig said: your a bigot. kenyans and somalis are brothers whether bantu, cushite, nilotic muslim or christian, and your ilk dhag jalaq uma siino. Kenyans and Somalis are NOT brothers and were NEVER brothers in our history, and you know that very well. If you wanna make such a claim, then prove it. We are at war with these people, and you're too willfully blind to see this. Everything from the Kenyans stealing the NFD from Somalia, to the Shifta Wars in the 1960's, to the Kenyan government massacring Somali civilians in the 1980's, to the Kenyan Government sponsoring different Somali warlords to kill each other in the 1990's, to the Kenyan mistreatment and imprisonment of Somali civilians, to their stealing Somalia's territorial waters, to the Kenyan Army mass-rapes of our Somali sisters in refugee camps....points to this one picture. That they are our enemies and you are just too weak to admit it. Maybe you should actually visit Kenya and look at the sentiments the Kenyan Bantus have of the Somalis, and vice-versa. You can call me a bigot, but I will never see these Christian Kenyan Bantus as my brothers. I actually trust the White Europeans more than I trust these people.
6. @samiig said: Again, both futurenow and DrK you know nothing about kenya beyond soundbites and sensationalized reports. your false stories about how great somalis are doing are pure fantasy. please refrain from commenting on what you don't know. arabs say la aclamu nisful cilm Quiet you Bantu bootlicker.
7. TheFutureNow, don't you find it a little strange how Somali refugees managed to have virtual control over the Kenyan economy? They control billions of dollars in assets, control a large chunk of the economy, and are doing this under enormous discrimination and bigotry. I know Somalis who arrived in Kenya penniless, and 10 years later they control millions of dollars in assets, employing dozens--even--hundreds of people. There are inherent differences between Somalis and Kenyans. The Kenyans know this, and they're benefiting off of the status quo. So this is why they wanna keep it this way.
8. @Tallaabo said: Did you forgot that Kenya controls a sizable portion of the Somali territory and population? :-D This is war saaxib, and we Somalis don't even know that yet.
9. @Tallaabo said: If the Kenyan police is assassinating "terror suspects" then the real terrorists do have a justification to assassinate members of the Kenyan police force. I am sure when few of them are killed, the rest of them will be hiding for their dear lives. However, I think it is in the Somali peoples' best interest to work with the Kenyan authorities to fight terrorism and extremism together and promote peaceful co-existance in the country. Why are we even in that country? Honestly, Somalis in Kenya should start to think of a long-term exit strategy to leave that shi**ole of a country and invest in Somalia instead. Somalis aren't treated well in Kenya at all. I've had relatives arrested and interrogated for no reason, and thousands of Somalis have been abused/raped/incarcerated in Kenya by the Kenyan Police Force. Kenya isn't home. And the racism that Somalis experience in Kenya is 10x worse than anything we could possibly receive in a European or Asian country. Let's cut our losses and move on
10. @HawdMan said: Kenya is a multi ethnic and religious country , dont kill your brothers and sisters because they have a different religion or ethnic background. You all africans. You and I both know that there's no brotherhood between Somalis and Kenyans. And there's very little love between the Christians in the interior and the Muslims on the Coast.
11. Oodweyne, so you're saying that by the looks of things, the Americans, the Europeans, the Turks, and the Arabs are so fed up with Hassan Sheikh that there is no possible way this wretched President would ever be re-elected in 2016. And Hassan Sheikh is well aware of this fact, that he's never gonna be President of Somalia again. That he destroyed whatever political capital he had and will be replaced by a (hopefully) more competent President in 2016
12. @N.O.R.F said: Hi all. I said it before and will say it again, UN Trusteeship is on the way if Somalis don't wake up. If Somali leadership in Mogadishu doesn't wake up, then they will most definitely break up Somalia into several countries; Somaliland, Puntland, etc. That is the only feasible option that they will come up with
13. And now you're changing the topic, talking about the Ethiopian invasion of Somalia. This has nothing to do with what we're talking about. Get yourself together saaxib, you're too emotional here. Stop pretending like you give a sh** about the people in Puntland, Galmudug, and the Koonfur.....because you do not.
14. You claim that you want to create the "State of Somaliland" based purely on British colonial borders, and then disparage the Somalis in the South as "incapable of governing themselves" but yet when I reference the Galmudug and Puntland Somali brothers and their triumphs and successes, you dismiss them and think of a pathetic excuse as to why you shouldn't politically integrate with them. You disparage them, mock their misfortunes, and then you want to claim to be a real Somali Nationalist. Get the hell outta my face with that nonsense. You're full of contradictions and you have no principles. You change your beliefs on a whim.
15. @CidanSultan said: They divided mudug into the current separate status. Three for puntland the rest for galmudug and minor collaboration is not unity. You need to stop misleading people and be honost. It's not rocket science. Abdullahi Yusuf was a tribalist. Not a nationalist. He never agreed to unite or even proposed to unite Galkacyo. He established puntland as a tribalist state. With tribalist so called borders. I know that everyone knows that. You need to stop lieing. This is another reason why fake nationalists like doctor Kennedy don't get far. You live a existence based on a lie. That doesn't match the reality on the ground. It's like I have to hold your hand and teach you how to walk, authubilaah. Abdullahi Yusuf made a speech on September 16 1998 where he referenced his previous attempts to integrate South Mudug into this regional framework, and this was referenced at the bottom of page 36 on this document. He made this speech at the Opening of the Puntland Parliament, in his first speech in Garowe on September 16 1998.
16. Here is my evidence: http://www.interpeace.org/publications/somali-region/57-the-puntland-experience-english/file Abdullahi Yusuf himself invited South Mudug to join the process of regional institution building, but the offer was refused for whatever reason. So if Puntland was a project based on tribalism, why would such a thing occur?! Why are there still prominent elements in Puntland determined to absorb South Mudug into Puntland State, despite the fact that a different tribe resides in South Mudug? Instead of rambling on and making a bunch of insults, out-of-topic comments....maybe you should focus on the actual topic itself. You don't know what the hell you're talking about. You never do
17. In 1998, Abdullahi Yusuf offered the people who live in the 2 districts of Mudug which are currently not part of Puntland, to join the new Puntland State. The elders of those 2 districts in Mudug said no and that they currently weren't interested in joining Puntland State. So the borders weren't set up to be "tribal", as the offer to integrate them into Puntland would be the opposite of tribalism. Remember, those 2 districts of Mudug are dominated by non D-Block Somalis. And there is STILL currently an effort by some citizens of Puntland to absorb the rest of Mudug into Puntland State, further refuting the claim that it's a "tribal fiefdom". You don't know what the hell you're talking about. Unlike you, I call for the Union of ALL functional Somali territories, including Galmudug and the rest.
18. CidanSultan, You choose to accept British colonial boundaries in Somalia but yet you reject these boundaries when it comes to Iraq and Syria, especially regarding the Sykes-Picot agreement dividing the Middle East. Creating political integration between Somaliland and Puntland is something you should be in favor of, because Puntland--like Somaliland--is an indigenous project and has legitimacy in the region. These are two self-governing territories, ruling over a vast yet lightly-populated land. If those two territories were combined into one, all of this "clan fiefdom" rhetoric wouldn't exist at all, and then you would also advocate the integration of Galmudug with Puntland/Somaliland.
19. I criticize the presence of AMISOM in Somalia all the time! Are you kidding me!? If it was up to me, all of these Christian mercenaries would be out of Somalia by tomorrow, leaving their weapons and tanks behind which Somali troops can use themselves. We don't need these Bantu Christian mercenaries fighting our battles, we can do it alone. We just need the funding and the equipment necessary to do so. Answer this question: Since Puntland and Somaliland are self-governing territories, why are you against the political integration between these two portions of Somalia? Why not benefit off of increased trade and investment, by advocating that we combine these two portions of the country? You always say on this forum how you can't stand the Sykes-Picot Agreement (in regards to the Middle Eastern borders), yet you choose to accept British colonial boundaries. This is very hypocritical and you know it. Since Somaliland is a state meant for SOMALIS and not just one Qabiil, why not practice what you preach and reach some form of accommodation with your brothers in Garowe and Bosaso? But no, you continue to posture against Puntland, mocking them and even threatening to go to war with them on numerous occasions. You've said it on this forum, you've said it many times.
20. If CidanSultan was a true Somali Nationalist, he would advocate that Somaliland and Puntland have increased ties and even complete political integration. He would not be mocking the state of Puntland, labeling them "bankrupt". CidanSultan was even gleefully saying in the beginning of 2014 that Puntland State is "falling apart". Cidan wouldn't be mocking Reer Laascaanod, and saying "we own you". And if Cidan was a true Somali nationalist, he wouldn't be mocking the fact that Somali women in the South are being raped by Bantu Christian mercenaries. This would anger him the same way it angers me. But Cidan repeatedly mocks HAG Somalis for this unfortunate development, telling them to "get their shit together" while not realizing that these Somali women being raped are YOUR sisters and YOUR cousins too. Not just Malistar's. There's a HUGE difference between criticizing someone, and mocking someone. We all criticize one another, but Cidan is the only one who mocks.
21. Oh please Cidan! Don't give me that bullshi**......you must be kidding me right now! Your tirades against Reer Laascaanod is well-documented on this forum. You've mocked them many times here, and the other members of this forum are witness to that. You've mocked the Reer Puntland Somalis, laughing at their misfortunes and even bragging that Puntland is "bankrupt" and "falling apart"..... You have cuqduud and hatred in your heart against other Somalis, and you know it. It's obvious to anyone on this forum. Now I've said many times, that I personally don't buy your SNM propaganda, but if the people on the ground in Somaliland want to secede and form their own independent state, then they should do so. But the people of certain districts in Sanaag and Sool (of which I have relatives) shouldn't be forced to join this project if they desire not to do so. You've even advocated that Somaliland and Somalia be enemies, similar to how India and Pakistan are enemies, or how North Korea and South Korea are enemies. Again, this is well-documented on this forum. Even Xaaji Xunjuf found you to be too extreme, and you're the most rabid pro-SNM Somali I've ever seen on any Somali forum. You're not a moderate. And it's funny because you talk about "One Muslim Ummah" yet you gleefully insult and bash the Somalis of Puntland State. You cite the dysfunction which exists in Mogadishu and mock the fact that Somali women are being raped by Bantu soldiers, not realizing that those Somali women are YOUR sisters and YOUR women too. Their rape should offend you just as much as it offends me. You choose to disconnect yourself from the fate of these unfortunate Somali women, simply because they don't share your tribal background. Don't lecture others on this thread CidanSNM, we know exactly how you feel.
22. LOL Now you wanna label me as a "fake nationalist tribalist dog" yet your statements against Reer Lascaanod and Reer Puntland are well-documented on this forum. You're a tribalist hypocritical dog and you know it. And now you wanna give me this speech about "One Ummah being united under One Flag" while you actively attempt to break Somalia in half. I don't know what goes on through your mind at times.
23. Cidan, what would you do if ISIS shows up to the shores of Berbera? Would you welcome them, or would you fight this degenerate group and prevent them from entering Maamulka SNM?
24. @Tallaabo said: There is very little faith in and fear of Allah in every Somali community. That is why the bad people keep getting power. No God-fearing Muslim will ever give his or her support to a known munaafaq. Most of the development which goes on in Hargeisa, is done by PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS, not the government. Private, patriotic Somalis are the ones who invest in Hargeisa or Mogadishu. They're the ones responsible for all the progress, not the leaders or so-called "Presidents". Whereas the leaders step in and claim credit for projects which were carried out by private organizations or corporations. Malistar always posts pictures of how much progress Mogadishu is going through, but he declines to mention that Culusow isn't responsible for this progress. If anything, he's hindering the progress from taking place faster. The current situation in Hargeisa and Mogadishu is directly the fault of god-fearing Somalis choosing to not get involved in the affairs of their own country. I know dozens of upright, moral, intelligent, and god-fearing Somali men who would do a far better job of governing Somalia than our current crop of leaders. Yet these men choose to stay out of the spotlight. They choose to not get involved and this inevitably leads to unqualified men like Culusow gaining power. This isn't even about tribe, I personally know several Somali men who hail from Culusow's sub-clan, who are far more qualified to be President than he is. We need to be more alert. We can't just expect the situation to fix itself, and every upright and god-fearing Somali man should pressure his clan elders and use whatever leverage he can to help change the situation in Somalia
25. Strange how Somalis keep electing the worst possible leaders to govern their country. Whether its in Hargeisa or in Mogadishu....the game continues. While the honest, patriotic Somalis tend to choose to stay away from politics and all that buuq, this gives the most corrupt Somalis the space and ability to maneuver their way into power. "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."-- Edmund Burke
