Oh my God! It's Showqiiiiiiiii! My long lost buddy
  2. Whoa he looks very unnatural and scary. Body builders go way too far with building muscles that it even affects their flexibility and mobility.
  3. @galbeedi said: As this case showed , first you have to diagnose the illness, then you can balance the modern medicine with the natural one. I also heard this week from some experts debating the importance of " Gut" in most health issues. Lady Blue mentioned this in her health thread few weeks ago. I did not put much weight until I heard from the experts. I am convinced that miss Blue knows more in health issues than she is mentioning. It also shows that there are many hidden experts in SOL. Co-sign! Well thank you Galbeedi. Maxamed - I'm not impressed, humble yourself you aint all that. You're full of arrogance and hurl insults because you can't take criticism. If you continue to behave that way you will get someone killed. Honestly I find you unfit to deal with patients because health care is all about human contact and connecting with people and you seem to lack that. I've seen documentaries about people like you who killed patients because of their personalities/character and thus got jailed and banned from ever working in the health care. Those health care professionals were also arrogant and couldn't take criticism. There's no shame in acknowledging that you don't know everything. You seem to have a problem with that.
  4. Although I don't like people who ruin nature that's a harsh punishment. Somalis don't preserve nature nor do they care so I find this situation weird especially when they cut the trees themselves to use it as a cooking fuel. This man needs to be freed from this hypocrites.
  5. A bumped up thread by nobody how freaky ?
  6. Miyir - She can still cheat on you even if there's mutual attraction. Some people are just cheaters the grass is always greener at the other side for them. You're a cheater lol. Tallaabo - Lmao, oh em gee!! You so nasty i'm speechless. That will give both of them a heart attack since she described herself as a conservative.
  7. @Miyir said: Blue/Bootaan Well meaning advice bordering a masaajid wacdi, is that what the young lady wants to hear? N M Its hard to please everyone same time, there is a many way to manage and everyone have a different way of dealing with it, what I have seen that works in your sitution if you decide to continue the charade, get a bad/discreet guy at the side and get your kicks off, the husband and family will be happy too. Yes Miyir So Miyir cheating is your best advice huh that's crazy. Let me guess you're a bad guy. How would you like it if you were the one getting cheated on? @BestCaseScenario said: PS: Since the admins did not address my request of letting me use my username "BestCaseScenario" instead of my name appearing on posts, I am calling this place quits already. I haven't blinded myself reading books to be ignored I am worth more than they can imagine, so they better address this, or this place will be sleepy nomad town with only boredom to greet visitors. 8. @NM said: I couldn't reply back to your comments cause this page don't approve new members I guess, I had to register again. I really appreciate all your comments/advices. No I'm not expecting but he really wants to have a family asap, I'm avoiding which makes me feel guilty everyday. Yes I did mistake, I do pray a lot to find peace of mind. Psychology says, "never give up something you want, it's difficult to wait but more difficult to regret" I gave up my happiness instead waiting, I rush into something horrible. It's not fair for both of us I know that now. I tried to make him to do things I'm attracted to but I failed. He likes his world and he don't find anything wrong with that. He is Scorpio and I am a Gemini, means milk and oil, you can't mix it. I'm not into zodiac signs much but sometimes they do make sense. What I don't understand is how he loves me so much even though he admitted we don't have anything common what's so ever still he finds me attractive??? The fact is I can't leave him, how can I leave him; my mother and father adores him and his family. They laugh and enjoy each other's company. My mother is traditional Somali mother, she believes forever marriage. Why we Somali ladies are different from other females in this world is, we start life living for someone else. First was our parents, we do everything to please them, then our beloved husband comes along, like it or not you please him too and then we become mothers, we live for our children. There is no ME in this life journey, maybe hereafter I can live for ME. Raised in Europe, living like I never left Somalia. Reading or believing in horoscopes is commiting shirk in case you didn't know and your prayers won't be accepted for 40 days. Loving someone doesn't depend on having things in common. It's normal if your partner doesn't share your personal interests/hobby. Not everything is meant to be done as a couple as you also have personal time for yourself where you do something you like or enjoy for your own personal development and to recharge. You can love a person while they are the opposite of you. @BestCaseScenario said: NM, If your husband didn't have anything in common with you, you would not be friends with him before you two got married I think. People become friends when they see in each other something they share and common to them. Now, what is important is what are those shared interests. - Music - Movies - Sports - Food - Books - Culture - Religion - Vision - Country and People Just to name a few. Out of what can bind two people, the best interests are the ones that do not change overtime. Music taste changes, Movie interests can vary, you really can not hold someone against loving action movies for example while you prefer stupid effite indian movies etc. Just saying. Some interests/hobbies are not really a good judge of someone's worth as a human. Many good people have no common interests with us yet we come to value them for their generosity, spirit, knowledge, etc. It would be immature to expect someone to love the same music you do and or movies you like to watch. I personally don't give importance to what a woman listens to or watches, if they align to my interests, fine, if not, she will have her private time to enjoy that. And if she wants me to get in on the act with her, and I don't like it, I will tell her "absolutely not". Yet, I would expect from that same woman with the lousy taste of music to love me as much as I love her. Why? cause love should not be based on trivial interests to begin with but on someone's decency and worth. Their personal quality outside interests that are not important to life's joy and sustainability. Anyway, I also messaged you some ideas as to what you can do. Enjoy life while you can, you don't own tomorrow. Great answer I agree with you.
  9. I applause for Bogcad well spoken. It's time they talked about this issue.
  10. What a waste of your life to be jailed for life at 21. Aun to Hamdi and may Allah make it easy for her family.
  11. @Dhagax-Tuur said: Mioew! Take it easy. I was talking generally. Besides It might have been three months but she could still be expecting, knowingly or unknowingly. Besides, this new age crap with the assumption that the grass is always greener on the other side is rubbishy. Families should stick together unless there is a very good reason why they should part ways. Don't live in dogma diatribe is shyt to put it politely. Jobs himself didn't blv it, heck as he was giving that damn speech it is said that he was lying about his health. Live in the real world, a world of give and take. Lol at mioew dude I was just saying She realised she made a mistake in marrying this guy. Being sad, unhappy and feeling lonely aint worth it to be married. I find it a bad idea for her to be pushed to stay in a marriage she doesn't want to. Somalis seem to have a habit of doing that mostly to women. Things will only get worse over time and in such case you better off alone it's not like she's tied to him. Holac it's not all about sex.
  12. @Dhagax-Tuur said: That saying of Jobs is not always true. There are times that you need to consider the bigger picture, and there are issues that are far more important and require one to put up with than simply following your intuition. If you got kids with the man, he doesn't mistreat the women and looks after them, isn't it worth considering the family unit than being effing selfish? Clearly you didn't properly read her story. She said she got married 3 months ago so there's no kids and she didn't say she was expecting. It's all in the first sentence of her story. I took that in consideration. Get your facts straight next time.
  13. @Mooge said: do you have kids together? they say sparkle is gone after kids. lol. this is tough abayo. you need to wait it out till you are 30 and you will learn to love him. you did this the wrong way in the first place and it is time to own it. you can't bail out on him after you wasted his time this long. Loool Mooge. What do you mean till 30? You mean you become more tolerant as there's no exit. They say life starts at 30
  14. You didn't think it through. Never marry a person out of convenience or because your just friends. Friendship and relationship are completely different. This happened to me too except I didn't get married to the guy. It was a one sided love and he proposed to me I told him the truth because there was no chemistry, attraction and I don't like leading people on. He was also overfriendly with other women. He even later thanked me for being honest with him. It was the best decision I made as I believe in listening to your intuition. If something makes you unhappy and is not mutual don't do it. The truth will set you free. Be honest with yourself and with him and tell him the truth. Lies do more damage than you think and can ruin your life. Sister you're in control of your life and happiness you always got the choice to change things you don't like or aren't working for you or if you unhappy. Don't live for the opinion of others and what they will think of you. That's a recipe for unhappiness. It's your life do what's best for you only you know that. ''Your time is limited so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary." -Steve Jobs
  15. Some people seem to be ignorant and clueless as to how countries get in debt. How hard can it be to grasp that spending more money than you get in creates debts and that debt continues to grow if you borrow money you can't pay back. I don't wanna pay tax to help these on purposely broke countries. There seems to be no ending about their brokeness. I'm sick and tired of corrupt politicians. Real talk of this man if only there was more people like him in the politics.
  16. Holac that option isn't available anymore. The settings have changed since 2013.
  17. Thanks Mooge Mashallah for the intelligence of your lil bro. If he's good at math and likes it you could try to further develop his skill by signing him up for an after school activity or special math programs for kids. I don't know what Kenyan school systems have to offer in terms of after school activities. Mooge as long as he feels heared and acknowledged by you and the rest of the family he will be fine and flourish as a individual. Just make sure that you listen to whatever he has to say and always communicate with him, ask him about school, day activities, friends, play with him by doing activities and spending time with him, always take him serious, validate his feelings and emotions. Children are easy to please lol Very good that you recognise the dangers of emotional neglect on a child when it becomes an adult and wanting to prevent it. You're a loving caring brother seeing how you're worried about his emotional needs and want to fulfull it. Can you elaborate about the sleep problems? Do you mean it's because of school and his intelligence?

Mooge doesn't like fighting he's a peace warrior. Mooge personally I don't support women fighting in war or being in the army. I'm all for them learning how to defend themselves to karbash creepy men that attack them.
  19. @Alpha Blondy said: loool@Blue, its crazy this condition. im not FOMO suffer but seeing how obessed people with other people's life is crazy. people snapchatting actual real time experiences is madness. what happened to living in the moment? people in the west need help. im socially alienated. if you're not on the social media and posting little exposes of your life, you cease to exist. True indeed but it's how you look at it. With everything moderation is key even snapchatting. The problem is when you're documenting every lil step you make that's too much and takes you away from the moment. @Alpha Blondy said: Sad reality of nowadays. Goodluck with all of your endeavours.
