  2. This is a tiresome argument. Besides there's no 'somali' culture, somali culture varies depending on what region of somalia someone happens to be from. I understand blaming arabs or outsiders in general is a favourite past time of ours, but I think all blame lies within us. No one is gonna save you except yourselves. Arabs have their own problems to deal with. Let's deal with our own.
  3. A lot of young Muslims that grew up abroad have had similar experiences. This is by product of learning and being cultivated by western institutions. Having doubts is normal and no one should be made to feel that there is something wrong with them by having these doubts. All these questions that people with doubts have could adequately be addressed provided they go through the proper channels of learning from qualified Islamic teachers.
  4. Maybe the ladies should adopt the chines model. The chinese muslims have mosques exclusively for the ladies. They have Imam women (just for women). If you women adopt this model, this will offset the previously problems of mosques not being women 'friendly'.
