And for the first article; He's just a political wayward with no sense of probable political direction. He criticizes all quarters of politics from Raila to Ruto, Kalonzo to Uhuru, Duale to Haaji, yet provides no substance or alternative direction. So forget about his political dregs and maala yacni ee kajawaab su'aasha Nuune oo ah, naceebka xooga leh oo aad u qabto Faarah Macalin kaliya. Waxaad ogaataa in all NEP politicians ey yihiin 'one and the same' marka ey noqto wax tar iyo horumar. Marka why aad Faarah kaliya oogala baxday ayaa wanaagsan in aad naga dharjiso.

STOIC;944160 wrote: Tutu, It seems like you are saying Stoic is qabilist because he supports Somaliland (my initial suspicion of all this anger). Now whether I support Somaliland or not because of my clan affiliation is not up to Something for you to decide whether it is because of clan affiliation.. I have my reasons for supporting Somaliland and why I decided to put my roots down there instead of greater Somalia or Kenya. This is my choice just as it is your choice to fight for your piece with Haatu. &Co..I don't have to be coated in salt and pepper and then adequately dry-aged over a requisite period of time before I would deem myself worthy of affiliating with Somalia/Somaliland.I have made my decision not to affiliate with Kenya politically. This is a choice and like I said I don't have to be apologetic for Supporting Somaliland over Kenya. I've read your declaration that you support Somaliland only in this thread, and not somewhere else. But whether you support Somaliland or another bloody 'land' is of least relative here. We're talking about Mrs. Mohamed's appointment and your attempt to attribute her to a region in Somalia. You should know better.
  5. My last post is a rejoinder to your meek attempt to appease 'your' Khatumo brethren that not only do Amina belong to their lands, but Justice Ibrahim too. These individuals that you dearly attribute their achievements to such distant places do not consider themselves so. Ps; blame my phone's keyboard on any mispellings:)
  6. STOIC;944134 wrote: Tutu, So you agreed everything I said was true and that I didn't fabricate any history, then my question is to you guys ( Sijuis) is; was it warranted to call me Qabilist?I'm sure you will not be the last person to revive this topic and get their blood to a boiling point before reviewing what was said. I have always given reasons why I put my contribution here. I don't know how else I can explain why I brought up justice Mohamed story.Hatred is another great door to the devil and I doubt I have opened any doors to warrant in getting all this clan accusations.I'm not here to shape anybody opinion.Everyone is connected to the internet and can verify what they are reading. I'm sure most of you noted that I'm a supporter of Somaliland. And the only reason I'm getting all this negative vibe is because of that (ruuntaa sheega Illahay yirii) .I have dropped Kenyan citizen when I left there in the late 90's.I have no political connection to that place. This is an act of choice, just like yours. It shouldn't make people question my political stand.I'm sure everyone here support a side of the larger political Somali story... Don't contradict yourself there, jamaani. You support 'Somaliland' based on tribe (I can't see any other reason since you were born n bred in Kenya), thus, a tribalist. I say this because your beliefs and convictions converge based on your tribal belonging. As I've menioned above, my ancestors hail from what you'll consider today as your 'Somaliland', but it's of my opinion that I've no affiliation with such a region or Somalia in general. So there you go, you are not the only one with such a divisive background. But it all comes down to your personal conviction and opinion. I would rather grumble with Haatu on my existence in his 'lands' as his equal ( in Kenya I have the same rights as him as portrayed by Amina's appointment) than claiming to belong to lands that my grand parents once called theirs. So Mrs Mohamed belong not to Somalia (Somaliland, Khatumo, or whatever region you've lately formed), but her great country Kenya.

Did you read my argument why I brought up justice Mohamed story? or is it that one word I said against Yusuf Haji (and Moi) annoy you that much that you have to call me qabilist? Ya rabbi mola!! Hehe ati mwishowe ni kupasuka. Nimetulia nakwambia! Hizi mambo hazinitishi! Hehe, eti Yussuf Haji na Moi! I am the biggest critic of Yussuf Haji. I, wholly, concur with your pink card point. Haji was instrumental in getting rid of my own paternal uncle ( he was one of the wealthiest) in '89 and deported him to Somalia. He had to fight his way back through Kenya's embassy in Mogadishu and to establish himself in Mombasa again. Anyway I totally get you regarding your Haji's sentiments, but was it the right moment and place? I don't think so. Btw the treatment my uncle received doesn't warrant negligence on my side regarding my belonging. Garissa and Kenya is the only place I know and call home. I cannot be indoctrinated into something I know not of but only heard of. I have to fight for my place and survival in where I ( however accidental it may seem) find myself. I know your reason of mentioning judge Ibrahim ( to lure Khatumo's peoples attention), but that, still, isn't justifiable enough to obsecure Amina's milestone in Kenya's hisory.
  8. Raula mbona uwaomba msamaha. Huyu jamaa, Stoic, looks like roho yake imefura na mambo za ukabila, ubaguzi na mambo za Somaliland. Though acknowledging Judge Ibrahim's achievements, these pages were about Amina and her new position. I don't see why that should be overshadowed by another individual's merit, even though they may have some ancestral linakage ( as is Stoic's defense). She's our Wangari Mathai/Martha Karua. Wengi wametoka kaskazini wa Somalia (Zamani uitwa Somaliland na wengereza) lakini haimanishi sisi ni raia wa kule jamani.
  9. Oo kaaley, sheekadu ma waxey gaartey in lagu tartamu arrimaha wadamada kale. Been a quite Sunday, I did enjoy some of your remarks or shoud I say your isqabqabsi regarding Amina's belonging. FYI; Amina is to Somalia as Obama is to Kenya, marka riyada ka toosa. Just coz my ancestors hail from North Somalia doesn't make me a Somali citizen as the reality is; I have no connection with my ancestor's country of origin, but consider my birth place my only home (whether that sounds daft to your tribe-infested minds or not). Amina assumes Kakamega and Kenya as her only home. I met her as a PS in the justice ministry regarding a murder, where a daqan celis kid from Denmark together with others knifed another Somali kid (the murderer was from her tribe), and she seemed just and fair in dealing with the case. I am sure she'll do a good job as FM of Kenya.
  10. Somalidu waa qoymiyad cajiib ah. 20 iyo dhowr sano ayey isku heystaan oo ey isku dilayaan wax aan loo joogin ama macquul aheyn. Ila ma'ahan in Somali ey waligeed isku imaneyso ama ey solution gaareyso. Waa dad jah wareersan oo aan xaaladoodu la socon. Wallee waxaa wanaagsan in labaaro brain anatomiga Somalidu. It's one of my dreams to perform such an investigation. It's also my belief that Somalis may benefit from a successful silencing of some specific genes (read positive eugenics).

I am surprised by Mohamed Dida's performance, coming 5th. The guy literally came to the political scene two weeks before the elections and has now made a name out of Dida. I can't believe he beat presumed political 'giants' such as Martha Karua and Muite who has been in the political scene for far too long. Go Mwalimu!
  13. ^^Good questions there, nuune. Indeed Farah and Afey's efforts were remarkable during their tenure (compared to other Somali MPs). Affey lost by the way. Olow is the new senator of Wajir. Duale clearly rigged the Garissa township MP seat after refusing to sign the forms and went into hiding and was later mysteriously presented with the certificate by the presiding officer. Jofle led in almost all wards. Strange, I tell you. Dadaab constituency; Shidiye have won Ijara; New comer Bishar Ibrahim Abass Nadhif has a slight lead in the governor's race (around 20% of the registered votes counted so far). Haji won the senatorship. As far as the presidential race is concerned, it's too early to call despite Uhuru's lead. Bare in mind only 5-10% of Raila's strongholds (such as coast, Nyanza, Eastern and some western regions) has been counted while Uhuru's strongholds have had more than 50% of their votes tallied. Raila would definitely catch up, but it seems it'll head to a re-run.
  14. Chaos in GSA regarding the MP elections as both teams (Jofle and Duale) claim to have won. Some 'official' reports do verify Jofle as the winner. Some are saying Duale is arrested after instigating violence.
  15. Yussuf Haji = 56% Farrah Maalim = 36% PS..Not all stations submitted their results!
  16. Ali Korane Bunow = 45% Nadhif Jama = 36% Based on the counted votes. Tallying still going on. Source; NTV
  17. At 13: 06 Mr Kenyatta 2,495,800 (54pc) Mr Odinga 1,896,174 (41pc).
  18. At 12:48; With 12,057 polling stations reporting, Uhuru Kenyatta has 2,459,133 votes, Raila Odinga has 1,851,671; Musalia Mudavadi has 123,913. The rejected votes are 280,304. These are provisional results for 4,793,347 of the votes cast. The IEBC has determined that only 4,512,939 are valid.
  19. Sheekadu waa xuntahay. Seems Kenyatta's first official visit outside the country will be the ICC next month. Raila waa bacaw! And he didn't play politics as he used to this time around. By alienating Ruto and Mudavadi he literally dug his own grave. PS: over 11000 polling stations have been counted out of 31000 but many believe the trend will be the same. Uhuru may even win in the first win.
  20. Only 10% of the votes are so far counted. And Uhuru has an early lead. All in all, it doesn't look good for Raila. Seems he has lost the solid support he used to have in Northern parts of the country. From Mandera to Marsabit. Western is divided too. These are areas that were strongholds of Raila's ODM, Therefore, the chances of a Raila presidency is quite slim. As far as I know......In Garissa town Joofle is leading (Duale is def out). Shidiye won Lagdera while Ina Ibrahim Abass is apparently the clear winner in Ijara. Some reports indicate Nadhif is leading in the governor's elections while Haji leads in the senate one. Things will be clear by tomorrow morning. You can follow the presidential race live here: http://www.standardmedia.co.ke/ktn/live or http://www.ntv.co.ke/live/

  23. Clueless as in? Politically he's as clueless as Korane. Nadhif thrived and is well recognized in his filed just as Korane achieved as much in his civil service years. They're both novice in politics, save for Korane's failed attempt to clinch Dujis constituency in last elections. Though rumour has it that Korane is in the lead, I heard the race is hot and both teams are vigorously campaigning. Not mentioning the tribal arithmetic that's quite compelling this time around. The tribal effect will surely not have a recognizable impact on the gubernatorial race as much as it would've on Farah and Haji's race. Nadhif's folks will definitely not vote for Haji as a senator even though Korane's team have Ahmednadhir in their group. On the other hand, Korane allegedly enjoys little support in Ijara and environs. As mentioned things are not as clear as you make it seem. Marka ignore the manic grandiose delusions Korane's fans seem to suffer and give SOLers, especially those who barely follow NEP's politics, a fair synopsis of the situation. Granted you're sure of Korane's win but what are the chances of Haji becoming a senator as he's an embedded unit of Korane's team? Edit: Ps. I know Mohamed Affey but not Aden Affey (I thought this was a new guy in the block). Never mind if you meant the ambassador.
  24. Marka hore, sidee lagu barye? Haatu, waryaa ileen qabaar moog baad aheyd. It's now clear that you're clueless on NEP's politics. Who's Aden Afey? Where's Mandera constituency? Clueless Nadhif? Did you just claim Sarif, Sabuli etc is dominated by H-cousins? FYI, Garissa's county politics, from women rep to senator, is as complicated as the presidential race. With the exception of Duale's return, nothing is assured.
