  2. ^^^^Add to that, a complete condemnation of the SNM maniacs and terrorists who are holding my people in Hargeisa hostage and who are burning themselves in a foxhole where they think they can perpetuate the pain of the Somali people because British infidels christened the North West region of Somalia as S/L!!
  3. Where are we, Somalis, and where is this man? Hasib: The targets were Iraq's military and economic potential As a veteran politician and thinker, what would you like to tell the people of Iraq? I would like to say to them that they should differentiate between a government and a national homeland, and would like to tell them my story. The Saddam government imprisoned me for more than two years, during which I suffered a lot. But when I was released I went to Beirut and undertook a psychological journey to get rid of all bad memories and feelings towards my country. I have thus succeeded in preventing my painful experiences from affecting my nationalist sentiments. 11. My hero Abdullahi Mohamoud Jama(Sifir) on Hornafrik Radio: may the best candidate, most qualified, most able person for a position of responsibility for the new Somali governemnt, win. Listen to his wisdom on http://www.hornafrik.com/Audio/Sifir.ram
  12. LS, Kulligood waa isma dhaanto. But what I need, at this important crossroad of our history, a very strongman who has the talent, the desire, the guts, and the DISCIPLINE, to sweep off the gangs, the rapists, the hired killers, the business parasites who can only survive in chaos and all other all criminal elements including these SNM terrorists and maniacs who are holding my city Hargeisa hostage for more than 14 years, from all Somali streets. I do see these traits in neither Yeey nor Caddow. There are gunshot casualties in Boosaaso and Gaalkacyo everyday where Yeey is supposedly the provincial leader. Caddow is politically brought up in the comforts of air-conditioned offices and cars and he might not be a decisive decision maker; I am afraid his administration may fellow the foot steps of the Salaad boy. To repeat myself one more time, we need a tough fighter. We need a nationalist CRIMINAL. We need a man who can run a country in civil war. We need a man who will not listen to the outsiders’ bull shots and would not give an iota of credit to the claim that Somalis are families and family feud can not be solved by further bloodshed. Somalia was broken down by gun and it must be fixed by gun or we’ll ever be in that chaotic circle of hopelessness and in a “state-of-no-life-no-deathâ€. I consider any leader is a tool. If you find a dirty old tool in your car garage and think it can do the job at hand and you have no other option, then you must clean it and use it. Ounce you’re in a better position to buy a better and cleaner tool, you have to disregard the old one. LS, you gave me no other option but Yey and Caddow. If so, yes to Yey, even though he looks like an animal and I need an animal to fix Somalia. I hope one day, I will get rid off him in democratic and civilized manner.

  18. http://www.somalitalk.com/2004/sept/11sept54.html Booramaawis, Hargeysaawis are with you in the fight for Somali unity. We know that the old SNM maniacs are willing to die for an unjust cause to protect a phantom state because their ego will not let them realize their historical blunder. We know that they do and will do anything shameful for self-indulgence and they will wrap up themselves in any alien concepts unfit in our environment. Hence, we must be willing to die for the unity of Somalis for our dignity and the survival of our race, culture, religion and language. No man’s gun is made of plastic.

  21. I hope I’ve managed to help you split that hair satisfactorily, saaxib. Any other worthy comments on my post? NGONGE, I’ve heard it, too, while in Hargeisa. S/L government announced on radio Hargeisa that 97% of the population had endorsed the new constitution which included an article on independence. It said also that the international observers were financed by S/L Forum, a Diaspora group campaigning for the international recognition of S/L's independence. All their opportunity costs, air traveling, land transportation and accommodation expenses were paid by the S/L Forum under a traditional Somali hospitality!! Now, I ask you (putting aside the six eastern regions who never saw what color the polling boxes had) did you accept the result of so called referendum at its face value by your own accord because you felt there was a merit in it or were you pushed by the emotions emanating from the people around you? I found one thing in your articles. YOU need to take a stand on this important issue. Either you have to be a Somali and stand up for Somali unity even if it costs your life and properties or support these who are pushing more dismemberment of the Somali people without logical, economic, racial, humanitarian, Islamic, legal, regional, continental and international reasoning (bases)!!
  22. Originally posted by NGONGE: I do it because I’ve seen how determined these people are on realising their own independent country. sxb, DID you take a province wide poll with a sufficient sample to statistically come to that conclusion?
  23. Are the family and friends of this fallen hero saying they are no more Somalis because persons of authority killed him in daylight and are getting away with murder scot-free? Check out their reaction to this heinous crime @ http://www.somaliweyn.org/pages/news/Sep04/memo.pdf
  24. A BUNCH OF TERRORISTS IS KEEPING MY CITY HARGEISA HOSTAGE!!! ARRESTED: Hassan Said, Editor of Jammhuriya Newspaper ACCUSED OF: Disseminating false information which will weaken the unity and confidence of the people to the Somaliland government. EVENTS: August 30: Jammhuriya newspaper headline "The IGAD and Somali warlords are concerned about hard stance of Somaliland opposition party on the results of the Mbaghati†Hussein Aideed- "The hard stance of Ahmed Silaanyo is a burning concern to everyone who cares about the unity of Somalia†Abdilahi Yussuf – "The Somaliland position on Somalia unity depends on Silaanyo†August 31: 11:30pm Jammhuriya's (1 of the 2 major newspapers) office was surrounded by Criminal Investigation Department (CID) operatives and served a warrant of arrest to Jammhuriya editor Hassan Said. September 1:Mr. Said was brought to Ahmed Daagaax Police station. On the same day he was taken to court for trial. On the way to court it was reported that the CID operatives accosting Mr. Said stopped the car in a dry riverbed in Hargeisa and alledgely threatened to kill him if he doesn't take his hands off government affairs. Reports about the events at the court house were quite disturbing, both the District and Regional Courts allegedly ruled for his release. However, events at the court house took a different turn when the District court changed judges, the new judge reportedly reversed the ruling and set September 6 as the new trial date. Leaders of Somaliland Human Rights Network (S/land HR-Net), Samotalis and Civic Forum for Peace released a statement demanding for his immediate release and appeal to the government to respect freedom of the press. "We fought for freedom for 20 years, thousands of Somalilanders have died fighting and now the old ways of the dictatorship is back, arresting people for no valid reason in the middle of the night and threatening to kill if they continue to speak out. This is unacceptable!" Zamzam Abdi, a leader of S/land HR-Net said. Zamzam narrated how Mr. Said pleaded to his fellow journalists, human rights defenders, friends and relatives who vigilantly came to his aid and followed him to jail and to court, he asked them not to let him go with the CID operatives because they threatened to kill him. "Hassan was clearly fearful of his life as he narrated the events, you should've seen his eyes when he said "I thought they will do it." Hassan Said remains in jail.
