  1. It's opening at the TriBeca Film Festival, interesting. THE PROJECT profiles the precarious, real-life story of the Puntland Maritime Police Force (PMPF), a shadowy group of pirate hunters. Taking after the hijacking of the world's waterways and the kidnapping of innocent citizens with its under-trained hands, the PMPF faces mutiny, murder, and diplomatic mischief in its dangerous quest to rid a country and its coastal waters of terror. The mercenaries' epic battle makes for an intense, gripping, and groundbreaking ride.
  2. ^^ You managed to squeeze your enclave into a topic about development projects in Mogadishu and Puntland, bravo.

Xaaji Xunjuf;940352 wrote: Pirates carrying about Somali dignity the same people who brought xabashis to Somalia please:D True that, dignity and perseverance that against all odds set up the government you are dealing with today. Xasan Sheikh has the support of Puntland, no one has anything against him and he is the legitimate president of Somalia and is treated as such. But if people disagree with him, it is in no way to replace him or fight his presidency but simply policies. You need to learn the art of politicking if you ever want to reach the level of Puntlanders, how many threads after threads have the likes of you posted since SOL's inception on the IMMINENT DEFEAT. Pathetic bunch.
  5. kkkkkkkkk@I signed an agreement with a white man from Britain 2 centuries ago, so I must govern you. war ilaahi yaa yaqaan

The opposition parties know that and they are trying to counter that, whether they succeed in that or not remains to be seen but the end point Faroole isn't coming back. But the secessionist can tell us what they want, we are all ears. The secessionists love chaos in Puntland, waa dad runta haddii la isu sheego xaasidiin ah, in their nature. Wax loo dhimey ma jirto, for example if a person from the south was to have hatred towards Puntland, I see their reason but these ones nabada bii kuu diidan yihiin, that is a very sad and truly telling trait. This observation has been made by many people, even the honest secessionist will tell you of this. But that is why we should continue to entertain them on this board as their blood pressure hits new highs. Saddos.
  7. AYOUB;940283 wrote: Semantics. Call it natural, simple or stable - the elders rotated the seat between Omar, Osman and Isseh Trinity Cartels. How is it semantics when you just confirmed what I said, indeed it is natural in Somalia for the leadership position to go down from top to bottom in size. It's called xeer and has proven stable. Unlike Somaliland, Puntland doesn't front any minorities for pointless goals such as Riyaale in the name of recognition. Failed it did of course, as usual, ironically calling others the defeated lot. *smh* AYOUB;940283 wrote: Oh I chose to believe the two political parties boycotting the Pirate Polls over you. Check the link.. http://puntlandnews24.com/doorashooyinkii-golaha-deegaanka-puntland-oo-dib-loo-dhigay-dhagayso/ This one, my God. Voting is not even POSSIBLE without registration. And it says it will be held in June, while your secessionist colleague posts an old link which says it is postponed indefinitely. So explain to us, why would they hold an election without voters? AYOUB;940283 wrote: We're not talking about the "land of the free" but the capital of human smuggling, hub of pirates and centre for currency counterfeiting. Even Uncle Sam demands IDs in some States like the Pirate infested Ohio. http://www.sos.state.oh.us/elections/Voters/FAQ/ID.aspx If the world's best democracy doesn't use IDs, then why do you hold it against the 'capital of human smuggling blah blah blah'? Please answer me that. Also you as a Somalilander or whatever had trouble in that department, I remember children being able to get voter IDs, what an example you are setting for the rest of us, oh MIGHTY Somaliland ahead of us in voter fraud.

Mintid Farayar;940242 wrote: Ayoub, Case in point: even after years of relative peace, you hardly hear of an entire Puntland family from the diaspora moving back to Puntland , only the men return to pursue business opportunities. Oh ok, so put otherwise, Puntland kids are not in need of dhaqancelis like our kids, to that I say salute.
  9. My expert opinion. Well, lets start off by correcting obsessed yet uninformed secessionists, a daunting task but I shall take it upon myself nevertheless. There's no such thing as a rotating seat, it's a fiction. The seat was given in a traditional way, the largest gets chosen first. It's a very stable system, it's natural law, simple xeer law. Secondly, registration has not been put off, however IDs have. If we look at the greatest democracy of our time, the United States of America, people do not use IDs to vote and voter fraud is almost non-existent, I think the statistics was 0.003% but I shall get back to you on that. If you look at the US today, they are debating Voter ID laws which could disenfranchise minority populations, cause they are less likely to have IDs. So it isn't a must to have IDs to vote. But in a secessionists mind, we find faults where none exist. Personally I believe the implementation of western democracy is very flawed in our traditional homeland but hey, you just got to go with the times, mate.

  13. Scoring points on the 40 individuals who perished in the hands of Al-Shabaab, that is the true characteristics of an unprincipled secessionist. It truly grieves me that we have these kinds of people among us, this is my last post in this thread as I cannot stand this kind of savage behaviour.
  14. I agree with Johnny B. When Abdullahi Yusuf was in charge, forces loyal to Puntland were as far a near Caynabo, don't take my word for it, go to old articles where secessionists calaacal about it or international media reported on it. But truth is, no one from Puntland wants to die for a half hearted cause which is what Khaatumo is.

With this kind of mentality, how can one move forward into peace and prosperity yaa raabi!

  22. I am posting this to illustrate the irrationality of secessionist. Why are they focused on peaceful Galkacyo, building 15 airports if they want to, instead of their own backyard. All of this happened within 5 days.
