the idea of having permits today in Somalia.

i'm sure his spoken Somali is better, he just can't read written Somali. a lot of people struggle with written Somali. towards the end of the speech, he appears to speak in a foreign language, possibly Afar or since Jawari offered to translate, maybe Af-Maay.

as usual, the real issue isn't being discussed. the real issue is; why was his son working under him in a position of authority. that's corruption in itself.

Hambalyo to Faroole. Wasn't his previous wife killed by their son. He's done so well to get over that Greek tragedy.

having said that, Cirro should just move on instead of creating chaos. niyoow find your own way to cheat next time.
It was a free and fair elections. We don't need you to validate this election niyoow.

Of course I agree with you 100 per cent. Change is needed. We'll see who will be appointed. We should expect a full reshuffle, although some will stay.

There isn't any luck involved here. It is high robbery if Musa is crowned.
By way, with children voting, I don't think reer Waqooyi can pejoratively use the term Walaweyn when it comes to elections.
Yes, Good luck!
its been a long campaign and to be honest we're all looking forward to the results. the election trails and the campaigning have been excellent and revolutionary. its been many years in the making. a lot of time and effort went into the elections.
Che,
its pointless issuing audacious statements to garner a reaction. you have very little knowledge of Somaliland, its dynamics, weren't there in person, have never been to Somaliland. you do not have a qualified privilege to discuss Somaliland or its politics.

less than 10 mins before the results are announced.

The New Movie Called *The Pirates of Somalia*
in General
Posted
i watched this earlier today. its a little patronising at times. there are few factual mistakes but wouldnt it be nice if it was shot in Eyl, instead of Gibraltar. the entire film was informed by the white saviour narrative, almost as though he's not there for career progression but to save the Puntlanders from their plight. great to see they had a full Somali cast, including jareers. there was even time for a potentially evolving romance between Jay and the semi-vacant Mariam, the wife of the biggest Mijeerteen pirate. Barkhad Abdi, despite being typecasted put in a worthy performance. all in all, the film was more about them than us.
its now avaliable on showbox, for those interested.
