  2. loooooooooooooooool@JB saxib, i was approached with a $10,000 marriage proposal not so long ago. so you neednt have worried about my experiences. also, been to a few parties and events, and not to mention that most of my 124 student are young fine women. one of my mentors recently told me: when you go a new country: 1st week - you can write book about the country 1st month - you can write an a chapter in a book 2 months - you can write a short article - ***HERE NOW** 6 months - a few paragraphs 1 yr - nothing.
  3. waar nagada ciyaarta dee! lol. the maid is a islaan. But them students are nice. We are the same age.
  4. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..... london - stuck up, rude, full of it, delusional, opinionated, competitive, undermining, Somaliland - simple, innocence, polite, obedient, friendly, respectful, dutiful... There has to be a middling ground surely.
  5. funniest thing just happened. the one and only Gariye was at my house. he was picking up one of his non Somali students up for somali lessons. I am rubbing shoulders with celebs; while the only thing many of you are rubbing are you're heads from stress. looooool.
  6. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn
  7. It matters that he is Somali. It will inspire us all (particularly Blondy) to jump over bridges. [/QB] Jim Davidson type of joke!

JB, ninkan miyiga geeya and leave him there for a couple of months. Hargaisa hasn't had the desired effect yet. NORF, lol@desired effect! i ought to slap you repeatedly with a dead fish.
  9. its ridiculous, somaha, saxib. there is no point of wasting time on these people. i mean i said my piece. yh i agree there is a hero in all of us!
  10. waar its 12:51 what do you mean morning? i reckon like most somalilanders you too tailor your time to the useless diaspora people.
  11. what a narrow definition of a hero? i suppose in that case we are all heroes but some of 'us' do it without all the fanfare and media hype.
  12. its a little pathetic when we are in need of some sort of approval from tabloid newspapers. hero this or hero! that is meaningless. what happens when tomorrow there is another damaging expose on the somali community? what will your reaction be? how will you'll justify that or will you remain silent?
  13. before jumping on the media bandwagon; ask yourselves- what Somali person wouldn’t risk their life to save another human in distress. this liberal media is attempting to portray 'our' most useless as heroes. Why couldn’t they say a 'Somali man' as sayid said? thats because they are intent on trying to show that even a homeless person of a somali origin is capable of doing good. can you see that the liberal media is our enemy. stories like these only seek to ridicule an entire group of people by deliberately spreading misinformation. Also, the idea that we need to be civilised, and that even 'our' most useless can have some humanity in them despite being somali. recognise the game and wake up. in america, they feed the blacks a serving of maury povich and judge judy so as to entertain, or in other words to indoctrinate the blacks with paternity tests and criminality? the people have become immuned to this perverse undertones that it legitimises their behavior and they think its cool to have children out of wedlock and that its fashionable to deny the child. The shame!
  14. oh god, your cheesy pretentious cliches are embarrassing. almost, akin to a grandpa trying skating game with his grandchildren. not, that, i am saying there is enough of a age gap between us to make you my grandpa but of course you could be. i mean who knows ! its possible.
  15. pathetic adaam. that abstract explanation doesnt atone for your envy and jealous. kulaha farmering. saxib, if your interested in farms merka is fertile so come down here and walk the walk as it were.
  16. this fool is from the area i use to live in london. he could be found blowing his job seekers allowance on william hill and drinking stella artois at 11am. i wonder how he found himself in central london. i mean the guy is a swalahi and doesnt even speak somali nor english for that matter. oh god, i only hope that the woman he supposedly rescued wasnt afraid. could you imagine a barbaric creature like that trying to rescue you. i would rather die and drown in the thames. he doesnt deserve all this attention.
  17. i'm not your enemy but there was no need for you to hate on me like the way you did. we can both do a good job but you remind me of certain somaalis/black people who want to be the only 'black' in the office and feel threatened whenever they see someone else who is similar to them.
