1. i've been writing my Somaliland Memoirs. I've been told its a useful coping strategy for those afflicted with Reverse Culture Shock. another one to add to my long list of abbreviated conditions. im now OCD, NDP, Bi-polar, ADHD and now RCS. lol.
2. @xabad said: Maximus powers was such a craven and pathetic alter ego, won't you agree. A smarmy black white supremacist, so nauseating. Remember when you use to dickride churchill the bulldog faced unrepentant colonialists and black hater, that surely will go down the annals of ignominy. lol. what can i say about you?
3. interesting developments with the Oscar boycotts. seems more and more people are voicing their concerns of the lack of apparent diversity. for the second year running, there's not a single black among the nominees. lol. the truth is political correctness has its limits. this is not #blacklivesmatter. Black people can't act, nor make any decent movies. that's a fact. very few of them are worthy of mention as serious actors including Viola Davis, Don Cheadle, Morgan Freeman, Angela Bassett Denzal Washington, Alfre Woodard, CCH Pounder and Terrance Howard..... and of course a string of Black British actors who are taking Hollywood by storm. sick and tired of black people's whining. they didn't produce anything worthy this year, maybe last year. black cinema is actually regressing. that's a shame. as ever, i support Spike's stance on this but its now been hijacked by all sorts of folks including George 'Dafur' Clooney and Michael Moore.
4. @xabad said: Marcas smith your still a loony fella after all these years. i was about to entrap you, cause i am in around ATL. lol. weird guy, you are. digging up previous nicks. please don't speak foul of the Marxuum Maximus Powers.
5. @Che -Guevara said: You absolutely know nothing about this woman, so many assumptions. the damage is done sxb. my opinion is not important.
6. is this the real reason why Kenyan Forces are still occupying the Somali territories?
7. there's no smoke without fire. she's probably a criminal Queenpin, to be gender neutral. anyways, this pretty girl was involved in the wrong crowd, it would appear. i don't understand why women are constantly attracted to 'bad boys' and their criminal lifestyle. i bet she now regrets her involvements with these petty street gangsters. despite her pleas for innocence, her reputation has been tarnished and she'd be better off, leaving the matter to quietly go away, instead of the fanfare she's causing.
8. @xabad said: That's sad. what forced to move ? are you still using british passport mise qorshe basaboorka mareykanka ku jirtaa ? i've always used the Somaliland passport to travel. i've never applied for British passport. the SL passport was enough to travel, despite the lengthy waiting times and the constant background checks at airports. re: leaving SL. - too much of something can be ruinous. its often quipped meelna lagumo raago, you know. it was an amazing 5 years. now the real work begins. so much to do, explore and achieve, abti.
9. @xabad said: yr wlc sxb are you trolling or you're in ATL ? LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL i left Somaliland in September after 4 years 11 months and 20 days sxb. 10 days short of my 5th anniversary. i was annoyed. im currently in ATL. its alright but i'll probably be on the move again. NYC or LA beckons lol.
10. @Che -Guevara said: I don't mind a beach house on Ras Hafun and a cottage in Calmadow. :-) it can be done. maybe its time you went home, Che.
11. @Che -Guevara said: Bariga fog. is there a bariga dhow or bariga dheexe?
12. @Tallaabo said: Alphoow saaxiib I don't know about how committed you are to new year's resolutions but mine usually end with the January sale in the shops. lol. caadi iska dhig. you're still in character miyaa, when you write this nonsense you continually write. im very determined actually. things are going well. but i did slip up recently lol. now more committed than ever ma garatay?
13. @xabad said: ^ calaacal rag kuma fiicna. As a traditional masculine somali man but also one attuned to the cultural environment of this pompous and trend hopping cadaans i never got those barbs and complaints about feminism. What exactly are these males complaining about ? they have nothing tangible and real to point to markaad udaa dacdid, its all about emotions and halo feeling of being undermined, they have become too touchy feely and want their egos massaged regularly it seems, is that not the antithesis of masculinity they pine for, ironically. The video is a painful waffle of new age terms and euphemisms i have little time for, alpha male and what have you. you can't go on the internet nowadays, youtube or messageboards without being inundated with male calaacal about some women issue, be it being denied sex, love or just feeling insecure about female empowerment, its grating as it tiresome. They have sprung up groups like men getting their own MGTOW, mens rights mrw and other similar organization supposedly to fight for oppressed males and fight misandry in the modern society. utter tosh. A real male's interaction with females should be minimal and complaining about them should be ultimate taboo and punishable by death. Xabad, thanks for getting back to me on this. interesting opinion, you have. i recently watched a documentary on BBC iPlayer about this particular topic. i guess there's some truth in what was been said but some folks took it too far......some of their opinions were bordering on conspiracy theories and stuff.
14. @Tallaabo said: ^ No I am talking about the Arab culture where women are treated as sex objects. what nonsense. that's a very audacious statement. you're just a feminazi. in the famous book a season of migration to the north by Tayeb saleh, the protagonist 'borderline raped' several women to avenge colonial exploitation of sudan by britain. migrants are perhaps doing the same thing...?
15. @Mooge said: The city needs to get rid of the extra "s", but other than that it looks really good. amount of activity in Puntland right now is beyond belief. 2016 is the year of puntland with unimaginable progress. bossaso. lol. dont change it. the logo itself is disappointing. it doesnt say much. its a half blue and half green ship. aesthetics isnt Puntland's strength. self-promotion and buubunis are though. why is the ship emitting blue fumes? unless its a cynical attempt from the federal government to lay claim to the port's revenue. its no surprise that they salivating for lacag.....
16. what international flights come to Bosasso, Mooge. any chance of seeing the flight schedules?
17. @Tallaabo said: As I said the source of this problem is the culture which treats its women as an open unguarded vagina. lol. im guessing this is in reference to western culture?
18. Al-Shabab militants have overrun an African Union military base outside the southern Somali town of el-Ade. The Islamist group says it has taken "complete control" of the AU camp and killed more than 60 Kenyan soldiers. Residents told the BBC that al-Shabab had raised its flag at a camp for Kenyan troops and said insurgents had paraded bodies through the town. But Kenya's army spokesman said it was a nearby Somali base that was stormed and Kenyan troops counter-attacked. The number of casualties on both sides was not known, Kenyan military spokesman Col David Obonyo said in a statement. He told the BBC that reports of high Kenyan casualties were "normal propaganda from al-Shabab". Kenya contributes more than 4,000 troops to the 22,000-strong AU force that is in Somalia helping the UN-backed government battle al-Shabab, which is part of al-Qaeda. ---------- interesting developments.
19. this. watched this recently. wow wow wow wow wowo
