So, I noticed a trend these days, it seems like somali women are more likely to marry outside the somali culture...But surprisingly, I haven't met any Somali women married to regular blacks or other africans. Subhan'Allah! I just read an article about this Danish carrtoon that appears in the Main Denmark newspaper, that insults the prophet. This is outrageous. Recently, the queen of Denmark said Islam is a threat. This truly is a great humiliation for the over 1 billion muslims around the world,the prophet said one day we would be so numerous but like the bubbly foams in teh seas, meaning having no substance. Anyone is free to Insult Islam today, and superpowers don't do anything about it, we the muslim people are coming to these western countries, because our countries were either destroyed or ruled by merciless dictators, and we have no option but to live in a society that belittles anyone who shows Islam. I pray to Allah that these individuals who are drawing these cartoons become crippled and burn in Hell. Ameen!

He will say: O Lord, and how should I visit You when You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: Did you not know that My servant So-and-so had fallen ill and you visited him not? Did you not know that had you visited him you would have found Me with him? O son of Adam, I asked you for food and you fed Me not. He will say: O Lord, and how should I feed You when You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: Did you not know that My servant So-and-so asked you for food and you fed him not? Did you not know that had you fed him you would surely have found that (the reward for doing so) with Me? O son of Adam, I asked you to give Me to drink and you gave Me not to drink. He will say: O Lord, how should I give You to drink whin You are the Lord of the worlds? He will say: My servant So-and-so asked you to give him to drink and you gave him not to drink. Had you given him to drink you would have surely found that with Me. It was related by Muslim.

Hadith Qudsi 17: On the authority of Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (PBUH) is that among the sayings he relates from his Lord (may He be glorified) is that He said: O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you, O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me and I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you. O My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you. O My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and will not attain benefitting Me so as to benefit Me. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as pious as the most pious heart of any one man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more that a needle decreases the sea if put into it. O My servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then recompense you for, so let him finds good praise Allah and let him who finds other that blame no one but himself. I remember I used to ask my mother if I could buy a bike to ride around campus, but she always frowned on that. I don't think there is nothing wrong with riding a bike, our culture is full of crap sometimes. Guys are given everything, the girl is taught from a young age that she is second class, men are expected to excel in everything in our culture and women must excel in cooking and cleaning....puhlease! Also, I noticed somali girls wear sandals in the winter...that is not gewd, your toes could fall off. As'Salaamu Alaykum, Going to many Islamic conventions, I hardly find any somali scholars lecturing. It's always the usual arab-pakistani imaams. Even visiting many Islamic websites, I only find articles and books written by arab-pakistani scholars, but never any written by Somalis..are regular African muslims for that matter (with the exception of Egyptians). Do you like nasheeds? I do too, but are there any somali nasheeds? Nope! Also, the lack of knowledge in the deen is very apparent in our culture, with the exception of the burqa...it seems like hijab is the only part we got right, alhamdulilah. Maybe being a people without a functioning government for the past 15 years is what made us lag behind...Allahu Musta3an. I just feel so sad about the whole situation.

Khushoo is very easily lost and Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: "The first thing to be lifted up (taken away) from this Ummah will be Khushoo; until you will see no one who has Khushoo." It's happening today. Many of us act like we are racing during salat. It's sad, and scary too. Even though we can't judge all muslim countries by certain individuals..hence making them all unreligious. As you mentioned how those muslims love all American things, it's not their fault they love these things, it's due to long looooooong process of psychological warfare, along with colonism of the middle east, and imperialism via American movies. I do think that you realize your deen more in a non-muslim country because you are the minority, things you took for granted like hearing the adhan(i want to hear it outside my house oneday, insha'Allah) is taken for granted. I think that is why muslims are going through such humiliation while they are so numerous today. Remember many of the battles the sahaba won, they were outnumbered, but Allah gave them victory because of their taqwa and their faith. We need to come back to our deen, not to compromise our deen, only then will we have victory in this dunya and akhirah. The world needs the justice of Islam today.

It's not surprising that the French are racists, Europeans are more racists than Americans...at least America is more diverse and the civil rights movement sure has helped blacks and minorities. There is this girl from "Sweden" in my class, I don't think she has ever seen a black person before, she always keeps staring at me and this black girl...it's annoying, because they have that look (dumb) that I'm better than you. That is great news, I always admired Prince Charles because he seems to be a fair minded individual. I too feel that the message of the American media is very harsh against Islam.They always choose words that make Islam seem evil...like everything bad is put next to Islam ..i.e. "Islamic Terrorist"...what does terrorism have to do with Islam, I never hear them say "Christian Terrorists" or "Hindu Terrorists" or Jewish terrorists. It's really bothersome to the believers when we hear our religion being abused by those individuals in power. We want peace, but to me it seems like they don't want peace they want everything to go their way in their quest for power and greed. I hope Prince Charles can do something to alleviate all this hatred that is being produced in the American Media for the general public to digest. Peace.
