Somalis are burned alive and beaten to death in South Africa. In the most recent incidents, two Somali businessmen with shops in Delft and Kuilsriver were killed, while one Somali trader was shot and killed in another city. According to members of the Somali community, this brings the total number of those killed to 40 in the last three months. Subhan Allah brothers and sisters we should not fight each other because it’s simply not worth it. Why do we keep fighting each other? So let's do each other a favour ,let us join hands and remain united for the sake of our country, people, future and dignity. Many African countries including Somali continue the practice as a matter of tradition, despite their religious conversion. This trauma imposed on the girl child is indicative of a practice comparable to torture. Honest this practice has to be one of the most barbaric and disgusting practice I have ever heard of. Fine words are not enough. What is needed is some savvy institutional rectitude.

The Clinton campaign is circulating a 2006 photo of Barack Obama wearing somali traditional clothes during his trip to kenya in 2006. I don't think this is a big deal. The guy is just showed respect for somalia tradition. It's pretty common for political figures to wear traditional garb when they visit another country.
