    Instincts

My instincts never fails me, in fact, the few times I chose to ignore my initial gut feelings I ended up regretting it.
  3. Compatible = qalma or dhigma Enhancement = cusbooneysiin or hagaajin
  4. ^^LOOL I wouldn't even attempt that. I have a friend that works as an interpreter and I sometimes listen to her calls for the fun of it. You can't imagine all the hoops she has to go through to explain simple terms and conditions because there are usually no equivalent word in Somali. Anyway I started this topic earlier today when I heard her explain "restrictions" to someone loool that was painful to watch... I figured a lot of us could relate so why not learn from each other.
  5. ^LOL that was unintentional actually, if I really want to speed I could push the pedal to the metal I did race for money once and won.
  6. ^ I don't think we have word for romance or at least I haven't seen one. next 1- Enhancement 2- Compatible
  7. Apparently you can’t even go to the mall without worrying about running into suicidal kid that wants ‘to go out in style’. Gunman Kills at Least 8 at Omaha Mall By OSKAR GARCIA OMAHA, Neb. - A man with a rifle opened fire at a busy shopping mall Wednesday, killing eight people before taking his own life. Five more people were wounded, two critically. Shoppers and employees ran screaming through the mall and barricaded themselves in dressing rooms after hearing gunfire. The gunman was found dead on the third floor of the Von Maur department store in the Westroads Mall, in a prosperous neighborhood on the city's west side. "My knees rocked. I didn't know what to do, so I just ran with everybody else," said Kevin Kleine, 29, who was shopping with her 4-year-old daughter. She said she hid in a dressing room with four other shoppers and an employee. Keith Fidler, a Von Maur employee, said he heard a burst of five to six shots followed by 15 to 20 more rounds. Fidler said he huddled in the corner of the men's clothing department with about a dozen other employees until police yelled to get out of the store. Sgt. Teresa Negron said the gunman killed eight people, then apparently killed himself. His name was not immediately released, and authorities gave no motive for the attack and did not know whether he said anything during the rampage. A witness, Shawn Vidlak, said he heard four or five rapid shots "like a nail gun." At first he thought it was noise from construction work going on at the mall. "People started screaming about gunshots," Vidlak said. "I grabbed my wife and kids we got out of there as fast as we could." Shortly after the shooting, a group of shoppers came out of the building with their hands raised. Some were still holding shopping bags. President Bush was in town Wednesday for a fundraiser in Omaha, but left about an hour before the shooting. The sprawling, three-level mall has more than 135 stores and restaurants, according to the Web site for General Growth Properties, the manager of the mall. It gets 14.5 million visitors every year, according to the Web site. --- Associated Press writers Anna Jo Bratton, Josh Funk and Eric Olson contributed to this report.

  12. Letting go is without a doubt the hardest thing anyone can do even when such relationships have passed their expiration date and give you nothing but headaches. Good riddance I say, early spring cleaning if you will
  13. Since we are here everyday we might as well learn from each other and increase our Somali vocabulary base in the process. Rules: post one or two English words and the next person will post the Somali version of that word, try not to post explanations. We need one word that conveys the exact meaning of the English word. I will start Restrictions Compliance
  14. You are quite observant yourself for observing all Somali ladies and their short comings.

    C'mon!!!

KK, I wanna know the crowd you hang out with lady cuz I don't think I have came across anyone in their early to late 20's butchering the English language. Yeah most have accent but who doesn't. I remember when I went to London for a visit everyone automatically guessed I was American now compare that to here where everyone I work with have asked me one time or another from where I got my accent as it's obviously not 'American' That doesn't mean I am not understandable or that I have heavy accent, it just comes with being bilingual. Anyway I agree with you in the sense that if you can't speak the language of a country you have been living in 10+ years it could only mean you don't want to but the question is why?.
  16. 3 The life of the party 3's are idealists. They are very creative, social, charming, romantic, and easygoing. They start many things, but don't always see them through. They like others to be happy and go to great lengths to achieve it. They are very popular and idealistic. They should learn to see the world from a more realistic point of view. Hmmm there is something to it cuz it sounds a lot like the result I got from personality type test INTP ....though I should point out neither description quite fits my 'real' personality
  17. You wont not catch me inside Walmart even if my life depended on it. For Gods sake the place is known for cheap stuff, no quality, no parking and rude customer service and customers. I don't particularly enjoy household shopping tho so you cant really blame me if Walmart has special place in your heart. I get excited about shopping when it involves jewelry, shoes or that cute bag I have been eyeing all summer that is yet to go on sale
