Kenya rejects aid of 'dog food'

Recommended Posts

Kenya's government is outraged by an offer of food aid from a New Zealand dog food manufacturer to help the 4m people hit by drought.

Source: BBC

Dog food for Kenya's dying children. No distinction at all between African children and African animals. I guess that makes New Zealand very generous and loving country. Wazungu waaxid iga dheh.

^ Dog food my matako saaxib. That's insulting. I hope to live long enough to see muslims and Africans stopping whites from developing nuclear weapons, rejecting their "democratically" elected leaders and offering them dog food to feed their starving masses. Ya rab.

Atheer, aren´t we talking about certain death?, Isnulting is what it is for those who can stay alive without eating that dog food, life saving is what it is for those who have no choice. :(

CW, I have heard that saying before but I just didn’t know that wazungu views humans and animals of the African continent the same way.

Johnny, even grass & dirty water can save lives, if that's your goal. New Zealand's offer shows how little they care to save lives. It's all about humiliating and insulting not only to Kenya but the whole continent. Africa needs to wake up and put its rivers and fertile land into a good use. Worest than giving viagra as medication to aids patient.

Do you think New Zealand can’t afford to offer human food instead of dog food?

^^ Ducaqabe, ofcourse NZ can afford donating real food instead of dog food, but that is a choice NZ is obviously not making, what to do?

Grass and dirty water are Horse food, Dog food is more suitable for surviving a femine than Horse food. !!

[EDIT]. Castro , absoloutement NON, qua?

^^ Atheer , these days , you seem to be living up to the saying , " hadad dhimneyso dharerka waa leska duwaa ", sorry Atheer, when the real tough gets going, that doesn´t even apply to the most proud Somali nomad, let alone a Kenyan.

^ Yes, atheer, dhareerka waa layska duwa but I'm not so idealistic to believe a starving person would reject dog food to survive. What I'm mad about is the audacity of NZ to even offer such thing. But most of all, I am mad at our people (ourselves) for creating the conditions that lead to starvation. :(

" hadad dhimneyso dharerka waa leska duwaa"

That's exactly the aphorism that comes to mind here. Besides, is the poor Kenyan any less dignified than the proud nomad walal

Subhanallah, It's quite inhumane and serves nothing but humiliation. Despite these ppl's disheartening plight, they're still human beings and deserve to be treated as such! If they really wanted to give 'aid' they could've done so by giving them real food (which would probably cost them less than pet food).

Castro: walal, I would think it's the fault of those warmongering monstrous creatures called dictators rather the average poor and vulnerable African's fault.
