Posted December 31, 2017 Energy & Mineral Minister, Mr. Jama signed a deal with BGP HARGEISA-– A Chinese-owned private firm, BGP has signed a contract with Somaliland government to explore oil in Sanaag and Sahil regions. The Energy & Mineral Minister, Hon. Jama Mahmud Egal has inked the deal with BGP to conduct oil exploration by February 2018. The Chinese-owned firm will launch the oil search in a block of 700 km according to a press statement. The minister of energy, Hon. Jama expressed his optimism that the oil exploration will be beneficial to Somaliland. The Silanyo administration signed a deal with UAE based RAK GAS which has hired this firm to conduct the oil search. Hon. I don't think George Soros democratic empire is active there, but who knows all those educated Somalilanders, some can be recruited to join the army of democracy, human rights and all the Orwellianism.
