Mooge Posted April 16, 2015 niyoow Kismayo is ruled by coalition of Blacky( aka madoobe) and Milky (caanoole aka Puntlanders) and they have restored peace and prosperity to Kismayo ever since they captured the city from the terrorist alshabab. now, hiiraale, the ailing warlord wants to disturb the peace again. he told his clan leader to go there and then quickly come back to make it seem you were rejected or disrespected so that Gedo diaspora can once again collect money for hiiraale's 17 expedition to recapture kismayo from Blacky-Milky coalition. niyoow, this is more than ridiculous. ElPunto Posted April 16, 2015 @Che -Guevara said: Forget Hiiraale, 50 out of 75 seats went to a tribe, talk about injustice!! There is only one tribe (mostly) in Somalia - Somalis. What you mean is clan family. I don't know that this clan family is 50/75 of the population but they are the majority in the region according to non-Somali researchers and authors. So if they get the majority of the seats - that is not unfair. Somalis always surprise me with their misplaced sense of their own clan's numerical superiority. If another clan is bigger than yours - take it up with God. What you should be striving for as a Somali citizen is individual human rights and not having anyone use government/taxpayer resources to enrich oneself or one's clan members. Anyway - Somalia needs to move to a voting system where each and every individual can run for any position. This way the clan dick measuring will end. Hopefully. Naxar Nugaaleed Posted April 17, 2015 lol @holac, no che is grouping a lot sub clans together who have been fighting over this region since God knows. Either way, glad they have finally put their differences aside.
Dabrow Posted April 18, 2015 Thats Ugaska beesha gedo and if he is out then this IGAD project lost what ever remaining credibility. Good riddance this IGAD project was doomed to begin with when KDF and Raskomboni started to kill gedonians when they took over Kismayo and the distribution of seats to the so called parliament is a joke to anyone who is familiar with the clan dynamics of these regions. A conference for all stakeholders of Jubaland should be held in Garbaharey lead by Ugaska. Kismayo can wait it will not move.
