Detoore you are always missing the point this sahal nonsense has blinded you , you have lost the civil war give it up, you have lost with Cabdilahi Yusuf after your attempt in 2007. Barre hiiraale was under the mercy of Abdiqasim and his Thugs. The pirates are cornered they have no links in Mogadishu and the one you try to use in Kismayo will not last long and the AU troops and the Ethiopian foreign minister Mr Tedros is the guarantor to keep the peace in that region. The Ethiopians protecting their own interest and keeping Ahmed madooobe on a leash so that he does not radicalize again, and starts supporting anti Ethiopian interest like in the past when he was Alshabaab.

 

You asked what do Somalilanders get from assisting the HAG government , the question why not even though the SL government is not backing them but its dealing with them. The SL government knows what at stake , the airspace was a victory there is nothing the pirates or any other group can do to talk. The talks in Turkey were very cold though its getting better the Odayaal are now telling their long term Tribal interest in the region. Where as the SL elders will tell the long term interest of their people. The problem is you brought the federal constitution for your own tribal interest but its not going to work all Hasan sheikh has to do is tell the IC and the wider world no elections can happen in 2016 and the 4.5 elections will return and another HAG will take the torch and all they have to do is put the referendum to a vote Mogadishu alone has close 3 million people. And no one will vote for Tribal federalism.

 

IGAD is nonsense IGAD is Ethiopia , And Ethiopian divisive politics is being used against Somalia. All the Mogadishu govt has to do is boost its diplomatic wrestling with the Europeans and they can get rid of Ethiopian influences.

 

 

Detore who told you Ethiopia is SL friend , Ethiopia is neither a friend nor an enemy of SL they do not support SL independence cause nor are they against it they act very neutral to keep you as a friend and the Mogadishu tribes as a friend. And Ethiopia knows that when SL is recognized it will genuinely work how to make Somalia peaceful and make sure Somalia remains united and Ethiopia influence will diminish. The status quo is fine SL cannot extend its hand to Mogadishu because of the political differences. The Turkey talks are going slow because Hassan and the Western backed Mogadishu government is being blackmailed by Arabs not to entertain Somaliland interest. Especially qatar and Egypt Qatari money was backing Hassan and he cant go against their interest and Qatar was backing the Morsi government, thats why qatar suggested the 10 year Union between Somalia and Somaliland followed by referendum. Somalilanders are now teaching the Hagites to defy the Arab interest and think of their of interest and stop accepting hand outs from Arabs. Than the 2 Somalia and Somaliland will reach an agreement.Either way its very positive that the power of 3 will save the Somali peninsula Somaliland and Djibouti and the Mogadishu led Somalia government.
